Here in Australia, they do not let tailgate loaders back up to a loading dock as the docks are not designed for that here. They would side load you instead

I really miss my old MAN with the 16speed manual from ZF. That particular gearbox and linkage was the smoothest, easy as a car's and sincronising every time like a dream, even after 1M km.

Let me guess……. Cracked windshields are common there due to road salt and sand in the winter? That is also to the situation here in New York.

That's the gear layout I usually drive in ETS2, although the trucks actually have an opticruise, so moving the stick is accompanied with pneumatic sounds :-)

awesome shift work! you should try to do a pedal cam on the floorboard to show off the foot work as well too, lol nothing wrong with socks driving

You should look into seeing if you could drive a conventional scania, I'd think you'd like it and then you can see what driving an American conventional truck would be like.

I was loading there last week on tuesday for Holland. So almost a meeting with you 😉.
Today it´s almost only semi or somtimes fully automatic gearboxes. I belive Scania charges extra if you want a manual gearbox.
What about these new guys who only ever have been driven auto. What will they do if getting into a manual truck :)
