  • Hi Guys! In today's wig tutorial we are looking at one of my favorite ways to make a wig look natural. Adding low lights & dimensions to synthetic wigs is one of those ultimate wig hacks. I have done this with so many synthetic wigs. It transforms a wig instantly. However, that's not all! We are also looking into the beginning step of rooting a wig. I hope you all enjoy it!

    When did you start wearing wigs? And how did you get into it? Do you wear them every day or just sometimes? Thank you so much for your videos. Your experience is much appreciated for a baby wig-wearer like me. ❤️

      I’ve been wearing wigs for about 3 years now, full time the last 2 years s I wear a wig every day(sometimes 2 lol). I had a lot of hair thinning from stress and surgery and it progressively got worse after my WLS so I decided to buzz cut my hair and commit to wigs full time. It’s helped me feel better about myself and has given my hair a much needed break and I can just focus on getting it healthy and happy without using any harsh products or heat on it. I’m glad I can help that’s always my goal. I’ve been there and I know how overwhelming all the info and lack of can be. Thank you for watching!!

    I had used the same root color on my Breezy Wavez I got on clearance. It was a solid blonde which looked horrible on me. I thought I use the root spray for my bio hair to extend time between coloring my bio hair why not put a medium brown root in Breezy. I was a bit scared but I had used light blonde previously to lighten a very dark root on a great 29.99 wig which worked great to lighten it from black to medium brown. I hadn't thought about going in and applying the low light scattered throughout. My next project. After I root my new McKenzie in R14/26H...on me she needs a root. New subscriber and newbie wig sister. Will be binge watching your videos starting with your previous rooting video. Happy Blessed New Year.

    • @JesseMSimons

      It tends to stay in the blonde wigs, pretty well. It can feed some when washing but it’s pretty hard to get it out.

    • @JesseMSimons

      It will usually stay in but might fade a little unless you soak the wig and then it will just wash out and you can add it back in if you want to.

    How many root paint cans you used for this specific wig?

    • @JesseMSimons
      @JesseMSimons  Рік тому +2

      1 but if it’s a longer wig or higher density you may need 1.5 so I usually buy 2 cans to be safe. 😊

    Is it ok to use a wig that has had this donde out on a very hot day? I have been told that with this rooting spray products if you sweat or if you get cauight in the rain or snow it will bleed all over your face is that true? Or will it be safe ?
