I was watching this while thinking "isn't he too young to be Mr. Knightley?" so I looked up his age and turns out Johnny Flynn is 37 years old. Good genes. Also, his brother is Jerome Flynn aka Bronn from Game of Thrones.
What an amazing movie of trash proportions. It must have been Years since i quit some movie cause it was so bad and boring i couldnt stand it anymore. I was bored out of my mind.
@@Tawadeb Yeah, that nude scene was as unnecesary as most if not all talking in the entire movie. I quit after 30 Minutes, when literally and literally nothing had happened at all and i was bored to death.
Miss Bates was great. This version of Emma was really played for laughs, much more so than the Gwyneth Paltrow version or the Romola Garai tv mini-series, although they are very witty too. The very best is the mini-series because Michael Gambon made the best Mr. Woodhouse ever.
Really? I found the other versions a whole lot funnier than this, especially the 1996 version. I saw the new version yesterday and was so disappointed.
OMG! I watched thousands of movies in my life and alone today it was 5! But i have never seen something so boring! I have watched 30 Minutes of total and entire boredome without any substance whatsoever before i quit! 30 Minutes, my god! Can anyone tell me what this last trash-movie is? I mean, Mulan is still worse but this one's even more 'boring'! I was surprised out of my socks! What is this movie? And why do people think it's good?? Holy heck, I've never seen this much boredom! People really think this is funny??
Well she was born in Florida, and her first language is Spanish because as an infant she lived in Buenos Aires until she moved to London when she was 6.
How are people STILL talking about corsets like they're instruments of torture? Corsets👏are👏not👏to👏supposed👏to👏be👏uncomfortable! They are the equivalent to our modern-day bras! Back then you would be wearing your corset every day, and it would get broken in (like a shoe), and would be comfortable to wear. Y'all do realize that lower-class women WORKED in corsets, right? Jeez, all this meticulous detail around elocution for this movie and the costume designer couldn't take 2 seconds to explain corsets to the actors?
No. They didn't say that corsets were uncomfortable to wear in that era. They said that they as actors were uncomfortable in them because they weren't used to them and hadn't worn them in. And late Victorian corsets were much worse. And the kind of physical labour women could and can do in corsets is restrictive. It just is. Btw, I don't know anyone who doesn't whip their bra off the second they can, so that's a bad comparison...
A lot of people nowadays wear and work in high heels everyday, and is completely fine with it, but if I had to do that I would be incredibly uncomfortable because I’m not used to it. It’s the same thing with corsets. Of course you’re going to be uncomfortable if you’re not used to wearing them.
Please remember that these are corset costumes, not the daily corset. Probably they do not need or must not do the "breaking in" for some reason. Or may have missed it completely. But I would understand if they wanted to keep it too prestine and in form for the camera.
Yeah you’re right but if you’re watch all of her movie you will known that all of her character are all different personalities. She make us to believe in character of the movie more than herself. And my mom told me “ That why we call her an actress “
¿¿¿¿!!OKAY, wHO TF IS ANYA TAYLOR JOY’S STYLIST HERE AND WHAT DRESS AND JEWELRY WERE USED????!!! ive literally been searching info on that for 2 days and I just dont know and cant find it😩 does anyone else know? i cant take not knowing anymore at all!! This look is so beautiful and idek who made it all
OMG,I absolutely adored Emma’s dad, Nighy played, he was beyond wonderful. So so so so fun and perfect this adaptation of the book was. And to Nighy I assure him that to deematerialize and appear inAnother place actually is doable. It’s called collapsing time and space. In “Autobiography of a Yogi” is one place it is described, but others can do it as well. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I wish they’d changed the title, or even stopped talking at 0:36. Poor Mia Goth. I wouldn’t like my orgasm to be talked about for all to hear, or for my colleagues to talk about it. From the title you would think they discussed all of that, and that might have made her just cry. I would definitely have cried.
They weren't talking about her having one, they were talking about her making similar sounds for comedic effect during a scene. I'm sure she won't cry about it.
What an amazing movie of trash proportions. It must have been Years since i quit some movie cause it was so bad and boring i couldnt stand it anymore. I was bored out of my mind.
The 1996 film version of Emma is infinitely superior in every way. It captures the tone and intent of the book more accurately, and all the performances are more engaging - most especially the leads. This latest update is just tedious. Go with Gwynnie instead!
Anya's hair is so... golden. So shiny she could play Rapunzel perfectly!
Jennifer Ariesta omg, yes, she’d be amazing as tangled’s rapunzel
my goodness you're right
@Supriya Finch yup
Even her eyes are as big and bright as rapunzel.

Woooot, Jerome Flynn is his brother?! They look so different
Lau OMG IS THIS TRUE?! His brother is BRONN??!
smiles...... thinking 37 is old...... just wait until it is in the rearview mirror.
Didn't know know the were brothers.
moon child it’s his half brother i think
I absolutely ADORED the two long-suffering footmen!
Yes the servants were my favourites lol

Leah Gibbon I agree. Laugh out loud!!! Perfectly cast
Perfect cast! And visuals!! Have seen it four times!! 🤷♀️
Maybe Emma was right all along -- look at that real life chemistry between Frank Churchill & Harriet Smith!
10/10 fabulous movie. Anya is stunning

I find it creepy but I like it

Bill Nighy was Veeery specific about the exact details of superhero movie he wanted to be in, and I respect the heck out of him for that
Actually a really lovely movie. Very funny, a little quirky in the best way, and AMAZING costumes and sets

I love this 2020 version to bits but the Romola Garai version owns my heart
Johnny Flynn looks more gorgeous than Mr Knightley.
I like him more like Johnny, but sometimes is the personality that we liked, not really the person in the character...
These two are totally giving me brother-sister vibes! Their on-screen chemistry is spectacular!

GREAT interview, the questions are interesting and everyone seems so nice! the movie is awseome
Anya has like a mix of a British and American accent
Well she was born in Florida, and her first language is Spanish because as an infant she lived in Buenos Aires until she moved to London when she was 6.
Mia should have received an Oscar. She is genius.
Callum, you’re already a superhero. You are Theseus of the house of Scamander, hero of Hufflepuff.
HELL YES, SOMEONE HAS TO SAY THAT✨
Anya's subtle New Mutants hint "I like my sword" 🤭😌
That’s not the Science Guy.
Hahaha😅😅
😂as an American I was expecting Bill Nye, however, I was not disappointed
This film is precious.
The cast was perfect.

Loved this film version.Best one!
Dang now I wanna see these onset jam seshes :(
her dress is a blessing
Love all of them, Bill especially and of course Mr. Knoghtly.

It's funny that she plays the plainer girl in the movie, while in real life, she is stunning. (She is also a professional model btw.)
I don't go to the movies. But, I did for Downton Abbey and I will for Emma!
Little women deserves a place here too
