Thank you... Yes, I reckon they're are gonna keep the bestsellers. But I am not sure if those like Dans Tes Bras, Cassie or Thérèse will stay. We'll see.
Your reviews are imbued with immense insight, refinement and a wonderful air of sincere detachment. Your narrative style and description of many of the fragrances you review verge on the poetic. I am enjoying immensely making my way through your videos.
I was shocked and extremely sad when I first heard the news from RichMich channel. I have had great passion for perfumes since I was a kid. Shalimar ( not the new watered version) made me fall in love perfumes when I was only 13 years of age, and I have loved and appreciated many other great fragrances. But Fredric malls perfumes took my love for perfumes into a different level. Perfume world has not been the same since late 90s. I discovered niche perfumes bc of FM. I hope he plans to start a new brand. I am sad but very optimistic. Thank you for the review.
I totally understand your shock. I was quite taken back too. It was an eye opening moment discovering this house's creations after designer fragrances. I sure hope he comes back with another project too. Thank you🙏🏻
Well said. I am sad to see him go, but there is so much in the house already, that his legacy would be secure no matter what. But I , too, believe he will go on to a new venture. Maybe it won't even be perfume (gasp!), even though I hope it is. I don't believe in living in the past, so I think all of the gnashing of teeth and rending of clothing over this is a little over the top. He will be fine. We will be fine. The FM line will probably be ok (at least for a while). New creators and new perfumes will grab our attention. Life goes on!
Yes, I hope he does whatever is best for him even if not perfume. Yes, you are probably right. Some of their best sellers will stay on. Eventually things go on. Let's see where it takes each of us in terms of other houses.
Bittersweet news but I hope that Frederic maybe starts a new brand in the future. Frederic Malle perfumes were one of the first houses that I started my scent journey on back in 2020 and have been blown away after first trying French Lover. I'm happy to own Music For a While, Promise, Geranium Pour Monsieur, and French Lover.
Wonderful tribute and rundown. I was so saddened to hear the news. I have many of his fragrances and I have his 20 year anniversary book as well. He will be missed. I doubt he will start a new brand. He probably has a non-compete clause and his name is probably tethered to EDP to retain the brand’s image and value similar to Tom Ford.
He will be forever remembered and respected as the guy that introduced all these master perfumers to the world..Maybe this will be the time to do ranking/ best of FM before Estée Lauder d/c some of these great fragrances that have not been mainstream sucisess. And as honor to FM.
I myself love Monsieur but here I wanted to list important releases from the brand's perspective. Monsieur will likely be in my favorites when I do the collection overview. It truely is a difficult event.
Very we said! My favorite brand as well, I hope they can at least keep his legacy of perfumes in good shape for many years to come.

Thank you very much for your kind words🙏🏻 Not sure if I deserve it. I will continue to try and share honest thoughts.
@@ScentZatura Very much deserved!

I hope he does too. Glad that you enjoy some of these fragrances... all good stuff. Thanks for sharing
Hope he takes a time off and come back with a brand new project 🥰
I hope so too! 😀
Hi influence on the perfume industry will always be revered.
yes, absolutely

Thank you. Will be missed surely.
That's a good point. Maybe it's the end for him as for as perfumery is concerned. It still has been a great run..
I hope you're right. I hope him or someone like him continues to carry the torche for creative artistic freedom. Well done Pradeep 🙏🏻✌🏻
I hope so too Jonathan. Though it usually doesn't go that way, I hope it happens to this good house. Thank you! 🙏🏻

Well said...
Yes, I hope to do a collection overview in the coming months with all the fragrances
❤
It's sad, so sad, it's a sad, sad situation
So... Sad you say... 🦆
This is a great channel (I would be an investor).
Thank you Monsieur Bobby (you can buy me perfume first)
sad indeed ... what else to say ? loss
Yep, a loss to the industry and perfume lovers
No Monsieur???? The BEST... Alongside The Night 😊 Truly sad news this is...
I myself love Monsieur but here I wanted to list important releases from the brand's perspective. Monsieur will likely be in my favorites when I do the collection overview. It truely is a difficult event.
I'm walking away from scents now, the journey ends.
It has been an important house in many people's fragrance hobby.. unfortunate. Who knows maybe he'll have a comeback or be at peace with with it all
@@ScentZatura he leaves behind a great legacy. I hope Estee Lauder don't spoil the brand.
