What do u think about the light shield strategy; for me its very effective, because my team are very unpredictable when they save force or full buy, this way I can buy way more often if i have like 5-6K creds for the next round.
especially when the enemy has a full buy and will most likely one tap you, i’ve started finding greater value in light shields since the 600 saved really makes a difference in economy
yes, and then my reyna gets tilted because she has 2600 after full armor + util and me with light shield and 3-4k doesn't want to buy her. it pissed me off the most when I have enough to buy her because i'm playing light THAT round. some games all the money I'm saving seems to be going to to teammates and I'll be stuck on eco after.
It’s so op. I’ve died only a handful of times were I shouldn’t have with heavy and those were against enemies who don’t know how to properly manage their eco anyways. Being able to fill by rifle’s more rounds each half is so nice. My teammates always wonder why I have half shields and can always buy a rifle and afford next if I die. I just tell them to watch vct lmao
I really like the classic. You can use it close range and long range. Plus you get shield and util aswell. But I do buy ghost, sherrif, frenzy a lot aswell. I like the shorty for bind.
It's not the biggest change but thoughts on vandal vs phantom with viper nerfs, one less mag in reserve and run and gun nerf? Riot also released a lot of data on phantom vs vandal recently. I play controller (cypher flex) and have been happily spamming smokes this act trying to use the phantom more. I use both: 1800kills on vandal and 1100 kills on phantom. These changes seem to favor the vandal. The run and gun nerf is debatable imo as the phantom is better at run and the vandal is probably better off stopping outside of bucky range. Not looking for too personal advice. Just wondering weather you have a short take or are planning to talk about it soon.
Buying a marshal second round can be a double-edged sword. If it's low elo, enemies may buy spectres with light shield or heavy. Definitely be careful.
Watched the whole vid before commenting! So useful and I love the new pfp. Sometimes if I’m not doing well and I’m playing with a friend or someone who’s much better, then I’ll buy them instead and not buy for myself.
In my opinion you simplefied the topic of economy to much and really only broke it down to its most uncomplex parts. Starting at attack pistol round u should of course buy in first round. If you win there are like 2 strats to do. First is to buy 3 rifles with half shields for whoever can afford them + util if possible, especially on the 2 agents that didnt force. Now you'll play together and really safe. The 2 ppl without guns can use their util or even their body to bait so the rifles can get the kills. Even if a rifle dies it can be picked up by one without a weapon. The adventage of this is the 2 whi didnt buy a rifle last round and only played pistol halfshield can now afford a rifle with half shield and more often than not full util too. And everyone can fullbuy 4th round and the chances of winning the "bonus" round is wax higher now. At first it is seems quite risky but looking at old fpx, new navi or every other emea team we can see it works. The second way is to just at least buy bulldogs or rifles, this is way more effective on defence because u cant play it together and take fights when u want like attack. The other really important thing is to never buy fullshields and only play halfshields except u have like 6k money or its overtome. Fnatic has proven this concept at lock//in (winning it) and emea league (finishung second, with only dropping 5 maps, 3 of them in the last game, out of like 12 bo3 and 1 bo5). This results in being nearly always be able to buy without a great disadventage.
I wanted to keep this video mostly surface level, since it's for people who are just learning how the economy works. Most of the strats reguarding economy that you mentioned are only used in professional play, because those are teams that have been together for months and are very coordinated and on the same page all the time. Even in Radiant ranked, people buy whatever they want, and trying to force someone to buy a certain gun for an "economy strat" would not go over very well with the team. I wanted to cover as much as I could while keeping the video short and concise. Thank you for your comment and suggestions, I appreciate it!
I like the way you're thinking. This stuff is really fun when 4+ ppl are in on it. You kinda need the spike plant money tho so it's not great on defense. On omen/ viper it works sometimes tho if my light shield survives the pistol round and (usually) jett/ reyna got enough kills to buy a rifle as well. 2 phandals, 1 bulldog, 1 spectre and maybe the sentinel on ghost/ sheriff is my preferred way to go. Judge players are welcome on those scenarios of course. It's a hit trickier on defense for another reason as well. U can influence the engagement range greatly but you're spread out more over the map compared to attack. One thing you said I'm not quite sure about. I'm buddied up with someone and we have a ghost/ sheriff and a vandal. I'd have the rifle player try to take a safe fight which results in a kill or us still maintaining the rifle weather he dies or not.
Step 1: buy Sena and stack him every round
Best strat no cap

Isn’t overdrive?
I think i'll just force judge every round, thanks anyways sena.
You sound like my ranked teammates
It would’ve been cool if u talked about the light armor meta in vct. Still a good vid nonetheless
Now you're channel look even better than before with that new pfp!
the new pfp is sick! would be cool if you did a regular jett icon with the maccas hat on but do what u wanna do anyway cuz it will still slap!
❤❤❤ amazing vid bro
Nah I’ll just save pistol round, lose pistol, force 2nd round, lose second round, and have my economy be shit the entire half
thank you man for vidio
thank you now i can get out of gold hopefully

Use the light shields strat in higher elo not in lower
why not in lower?
You can just buy a vandal almost every round with astra even if you lose
W VID AS ALWAYS
You would think this is basic knowledge, but it's surprising how many people can't grasp this even in diamond
loving the new pfp
but like what about the mid rounds? should I buy everything even if min credit next round is shown as 2700? I do get the beginning buys tho
New pfp, I’m digging it
Thank you! :)
I LOVE YOU BRODA
Thx for the Vid one question what do you buy in the pistol round?
