I'm trying to explain it in the cleanest way possible, I'll be making some mistakes on everyone's behalf. Today the Baleno engine is in with the Zen gearbox and tomorrow we'll be modifying 2 of the existing mounts. The engine and gearbox should be set as of tomorrow and a video on it out mid week. I feel like the E-Zen was straight forward for a mechanic shop but the B-Zen needs basic fabrication and preferably a lift as the mount on the rear is a challenge to get to.

I wanted to but all these Zen builds are different. I have access to 4 Zensand they all have different builds so it's hard to compare. There's a stock Carbon, stroker Steel, 1.3 swapped with esteem gearbox and 1.6 with Zen gearbox
@@CroftVan that's where the Zen lacks though, high speed stability. That's also why I wanted to use the Zen gearbox, to make the project quick and not fast as it can't easily take those speeds
Doesn't maruti 1000 came with f10a engine? Are transmission bolts holes of f10a gearbox and g16b engine at same position? Or some kind of adaptor plate needed?
Hi, I have seen that some zens having issues with chasis breaking issues through the 1.3 or 1.6 swap. Don't know the reason whether it is by the weak or rusty chasis or by means of any rough use or something, may it not happen to you🙌, anyways keep an eye on it and also if you have any experience like this pls reply, All the best for your works and thanks for sharing the stuffs🤝
@@therustycashew8553 Baleno can be converted to AWD using bolt on kits. Jagbir nirwan one of the rally racer, has converted his Baleno to AWD by these important OEM bolt on kits. NP: awd balenos are there in other countries 🥲

Baleno Engine+ Zen gearbox is an amazing combo, short geared and very very fun to drive.

On one hand it is a creation of a sleeper.
Sadly on the other a destruction of a true JDM sedan the OG Baleno. The G16BB is a legend of an engine.
It looks like the Baleno will serve as a great donor to help build another car, let's see. It'll help 2 cars become better

Using zens to start with are great as they're extremely light. The Baleno is heavy and hard to get parts for.

This is a simple build, it belongs to a friend's so my inputs are just suggestions. There are better platforms for AWD conversions

Could you suggest some alternate options for old model MGP parts. Opera has most of the parts for Zen, Esteem, OG Baleno.
For me it's now about just finding the parts.
