This is gonna be a gamechanger . The most impactful video for g series enthusiasts all over the world, especially india. RESPECT ! This had to be done by someone. THANK YOU !
You've made a great video my friend, i'm a guy from europe who bought a ZEN ( alto here ), because of all of the information coming from india, i have a carburated model, but i have a g10a laying around, Those engines can take some modification and there is also enough information from america, i want to blend those 2 together and make a supercharged or turbocharged zen. I'm going to start prepping the engine and swap the brakes from the esteem too.
Maruti 1000's gearbox mounts might be direct fit for baleno's 1.6 engine. That might be reason for some guys are prefering it over zen gerbox.(just assumptions)
That's a possibility. I thought it was gearing as it was suggested when I was building an E zen too. It's really hard to say for sure without seeing everything first hand
@@therustycashew8553For an Esteem engine plus Zen gb, I can confirm, it's a direct fit My MPFI Esteem is running a Zen GB right now, does wonders with the shorter throw in hills here at Uttarakhand.
I have doubt sir. I am planning my mpfi zen swap to 1.3 g13bb. So decided to use my g10b gearbox. My doubt is that make mileage decrease or increase!? I need a better mileage and performance for that better use esteem gearbox or zen's gearbox. Am using equally in city and highways.
does it cause any sort of imbalance in weight distribution? the baleno engine and trans would be weighing a bit more than what the zen engine right? wont that cause an issue..?
It definitely does cause an imbalance but there isn't much one can do apart from shifting the weight to the back but there aren't many options for a build like this.
I don't think anyone would have paid the premium we did for this car. The engine was healthy and we were happy with that. Most balenos in the scrapyard had lpg or CNG kits. So customer and buyer happy. I was also considering using other parts from the donor but didn't seem feasible later

Hi, just to clarify, Maruti 1000 and narrow gypsy came with F10A engine. My Maruti 1000 has the same 970cc carb engine. Great content👌
Oh, I thought g10, but interchangeable?
bro must include the video of upgrading brakes that might be very useful
Yes! I'm planning to upgrade the brakes on the car later.

So the driveshafts will start slipping on corners every 5K Kms of enthusiastic driving!! First hand experience!!
Too much torque? What's the fix for this?

I believe using the zen gearbox with give quicker acceleration but lower top speed hence the esteem one is more suitable for your requirement
@@therustycashew8553 so you meant for better fuel efficiency use esteem gearbox am i correct!
Sir when you’re done with zen can you show 1.6 baleno engine swag into a gypsy 🙏
Maybe one day in the future, but it's probably very similar to pairing this engine and gearbox
Quick question can we swap the G16B cam from the Baleno engine into the G13B Esteem engine.
Is there any chance i can fit zen auto or manual gear on maruti 800, if little alterations are needed i can do that...

Have you ever checked an axle work shop???😂😂😂 If you seen you can use baleno gearbox also😊
Sir, if iam not wrong, the 1000cc that came in the gypsy was an Fseries? The F10A?
Really? I didn't know that
is RWD conversion possible? Because the Japanese Zen (Cervo Mode) had an 4WD setup and they share the same platform with the Indian Zen

Don’t the zen shafts fit into the baleno gearbox ?
Yes but he used zen gearbox
@@reubenjjohnson3127 ik, was wondering y not the g16 gearbox. Reason behind it
The reason was to build a car with quicker acceleration, the Baleno gearbox would be for top speed
@@therustycashew8553 so it's a direct fit then, zen axels onto the Baleno gearbox ? Just out of curiosity

Cam sensor is from 1.3 or 1.6
Can MH310 GB handle the torque and output of GB1.6 engine
From 1.3, it should take but we'll confirm it all soon when it's ready.
Hi sir if i want to make this all modification in my zen how much it will cost
I will list the costs when done with the project.
Question: why are a killing a perfectly running Baleno for this project, you could have just sourced an engine, sad to see this happen,
