Its both more expensive AND less powerful than any new budget cars, and not only that, it's also slower than something like Rx570, which is a what, 5 year old card you can find for half the price of new GTX 1630? How exactly is this waste of silicon supposed to make sense?
In some parallel universe, where its sold for 40 bucks, it may make sense to buy it. Cuz at this moment you can get either literally any card that costs 150$ either new, or old card up to that price point and it will be faster, or you can get ryzen 4700g, which comes with Vega 8, which, granted, will be slower by like 50%, but you also get 8 core 16 thread cpu along with it, then you can simply OC the igpu and get actually somewhat comparable performance is certain titles, but overall maybe 20% slower in general. Gtx1630 is a simply embarrassing waste of silicon. I think Nvidia saw how freaking stupid Rx6400 was, and were like "Ha, your card is freaking terrible, but we have to exceed you in every way, so here's twice as stinky poo card, and for marginally cheaper as well!".

@@luiscanales696 but here is the thing RX 6400 is cheaper and has more performance while the 1630 loses to 1050 non ti in some games sic. Also intel Arc A380 demolished this nvidia mistake. Seriously it feels like the repeat of Geforce 4 MX debacle all over again.
Rx 6400 is the best gpu for low profile actually, beating yhe 1650 and close to 1650. The rx 6500 xt is good too, is just the shitty vram lmao, it should have been 6 gb, 6600 8gbs and 6400 4gbs. Still this card is the worst, needs pin and is expensive af.

@MrShmitler 1070ti is at best few % better in very few games, most of the time its basically either the same performance, or 1660S winning by 5-10%. That's aside the fact that 1660S is much, much newer, quieter, more energy efficient and physically smaller. Literally the only advantage 1070Ti has is higher Vram capacity, 6GB vs 8GB. That's it.
