right? i was so bummed out that i found out about this movie only after it won the oscars. I watched this movie with 2 buddies of mine at their apartment on a big screen, but nothing compares to watching it in the theaters!
The bridge scene is much deeper than you think. Ram is fighting for the country so he has the flag and bheem is fighting for the child so he grabs the kid. And they both pass it onto each other just like how it actually happens in the movie.
Watch RRR's director SS Rajamouli's previous projects, Bahubali : The Beginning & Bahubali 2 : The Conclusion... Bahubali 2 is the highest grossing film inside India till date!! Bahubali series made this director one of the most famous directors of India!! 🔥🔥❤

I’m Indian american and a huge try guys fan. I’ve been watching Telugu movies my whole life. Hearing you guys be so hyped about an Indian movie especially a Telugu movie makes my heart so happy. ❤️❤️
@@k-popop Aiveeiin 😆 I haven't even watched KGF2, and I still don't understand the hype of RRR. It's an okay movie, but in no way can be considered a masterpiece. Since I watched the movie, I have been watching all the reaction and review videos, just to understand what exactly is it that people liked so much...
@@nitinyyagi141 because of emotion delivery, detail cinematography, symbolism and mainly more acting instead of talking nonsense and less subtitles. So all foreigners fan focus on screen play and acting. 😏😏
@@k-popop I can agree on emotion delivery. Because most movies in west follow a single genre throughout, and this movie is a mix of several genres, eliciting different emotions. But if I am being honest this has always been the thing with South Indian movies. I have been watching South Indian movies since I was a little kid and I have found that movies like this are a common thing in South India. I think the only reason this movie got so popular in India because of two reasons: 1) Ramcharan and NTR working together. 2) Better special effects compared to other South Indian movies (although they are not still as good as Hollywood movies). And once it got this popular in India, it began to draw the attention of foreigners, for which this South Indian format of mixed genres was a breath of fresh air. But the thing you said about cinematography, and symbolism isn't something I can agree with because this isn't the only movie to have them. In fact, I have seen a number of movies that have done a better job of handling these two.
@@nitinyyagi141 it has more symbolism lol example:- In ram intro he did not talk a thing only acting and symbolism and melodrama. And there less speaking so there will be less subtitles. Same with bridge scene e.t.c And see kgf 2 they keep on blabbering like hell lot lot lot of subtitles that's why kgf 2 did not that much hype comapre to RRR. Still so many foreigners think RRR got more collections and number 1. Lol i remember each and every line in RRR what they speak.😅😅🤣🤣
I said this out loud to my partner when we watched the Big Dance Scene (the song is Naatu Naatu) that there was no human on earth who could watch this and not want these men in your bed. The DEXTERITY. The CORE STRENGTH. The FUN. Their SMILES. Literally they were their sexiest at that scene
Fun fact: RRR was actually the working title of the movie. They came up with it by combining the initials of the names of Ramcharan(Ram), NT Ramarao(Bheem) ,Rajamouli(The director) and they ran a hashtag as #RRR when they announced the movie indicating the collaboration of those 3. But people loved it so much , that they decided to keep the title as RRR and reverse engineered it to mean Rise,Roar,Revolt.
Omg I watched this movie the last night and absolutely loved it. I definitely said i was more hyped in this movie than Endgame. Yes yes yes. This movie is incredible
The thing about Endgame was emotions that you carry for those characters for almost 10 years. And it was end of it. RRR does it in 3 hours. Last half hour of Endgame was insane and i was cheering at that. And RRR carries that for whole 3 hours. From starting we get tons of amazing and creative action sequences.
I have been seeing indian movies for years now (thank to my husband) and must say there are so many great movies being made over there..... RRR IS AMAZING 👏 and unbelievably well done mother 🇮🇳
I'm South Asian myself and I never really liked Hindi movies at all since Bollywood stories are so repetitive and unoriginal, full of nepotism so it doesn't give chances to talented actors, too much music and dancing, bad camerawork, way too long in runtime, too much filler, and the humor is cringy to me. But this Tollywood movie was actually pretty good even for someone who finds most Hindi movies annoying. I hope more Hindi/South Asian movies take path to this movie. I actually enjoyed it, but I wish they just cut down the runtime because I was watching it at night and I got tired halfway through and just went to bed
Well said and totally agreed, not even the MCU can come close to what this SINGLE movie delivers in 3hrs, this is something else, just a timeless piece of art, a must watch for sure.
This movie is also so good becoz the director is telling you the plot symbolically all the time. Remember the burning train sequence where Bheema saves the boy and passes him to Raju and Raju passes a revolution flag to Bheema to protect him from the fire. Its actually the whole plot of the movie where one came to save a child other came to save a country and they kind of passes the torch to each other.
And finally it was bheem who took out the weapon (which was ram's mission) and ram rescued the child (bheem's misdion) which is also an exchange... 😱😱😱
I was a movie buff till 2008. Then I stopped watching any Indian movies. I started when they started making real "Indian" movies without westernization of Indian culture, and portray realism. This movie I watched after few friends suggested, and felt goosebumps and teary several times. Every patriotic Indian should love this movie. I really loved your narration, and your level of understanding clearly shows how much heart you put in not watching, but observing this masterpiece!

But not a single Indian defending bollywood... But now people like you... Demeaning bollywood just because he is in a bad phase..... That is called over confidence..... I think you guys forgot that both are Indian industry.....
I had a mini Bollywood phase when I was younger (watched some movies to the point of memorizing parts of the script, listened obsessively to the soundtracks, pathetically tried to learn some of the dances) and I am FULLY looking forward to checking out this Tollywood gem. 😍
Bollywood movies have gotten way better recently and top-tier recently, you should definitely check out movies like Gully Boy, Kapoor & Sons, Dangal, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, War, Super 30, Secret Superstar, Neerja, PK, Sardar Udham, Shershaah, etc plenty more
I literally just finished the movie. Oh my god. I watched this, was convinced. Watched the movie & now im coming back to, as they said, rub the rest on my gums.
@Alexandra Jaggers Bahubali is recommended from the same director and scriptwriter of RRR. Also check KGF. KGF chapter 2 and RRR are the two biggest Indian film this year
Few easter eggs and fun facts of RRR: 1) When bahubali was released many people began to nitpick about small things in the movie, they began to look for flaws, one such flaw which was pointed out by many people is the iconic scene where prabhas makes the huge jump in the waterfall, many pointed out that he should take a run up to make such a huge jump, instead he just jumps from the edge, thats the reason y in RRR When ram and bheem meet for the 1st time, to rescue the kid under the bridge while they jump down the bridge they take a run up in rajamouli style with a horse n a bike🤣🤣 guess what rajamouli learns from his mistakes, even in the same scene we can see ram charan takes a flag dips it in the water n makes it wet before he throws it to jr NTR, so that when jr NTR wraps it around it won't catch fire 🔥🔥... The imagination n brilliance of rajamouli sir🔥🔥 Respect👍👍 2) Unlike many other indian movies which involve english actors, in RRR we find the performances of english actors far better, that's because rajamouli approached professionals, the one who played Scott is "Ray Stevenson" one who acted in "Thor" movies, one who played lady Scott is "Alison doody" the lead actress from indiana jones.... 3) The sets u can see in nacho nacho song, the palace behind is actually President's palace in Ukraine..After finishing the movie n returning to india, war was started in ukraine.... 4) When ram captures bheem's clan member, he catches a snake n attacks ram even though he is tied, that man catching the snake is justified coz they r gond tribals, they know everything abt every animal, how to trap and catch them, n how to treat animal attacks using natural ayurvedic remedies, since they were born n brought up in jungle along with those animals n plants, that's how even jr NTR is able to tame n control the animals during interval sequence.... 5) That song jr NTR sings while being whipped "komaram bheemudo", few non indian and north indian audience may find the song lil distasteful because they r unaware of the importance of the song, the gond tribe (the telangana people) who faced many tortures under the nijam rule, hv developed a habit of singing folklore songs explaining their pain n oppression for years, these songs kind of made those people stronger n revolt against nijams, similarly at the end of the song people revolt, even now a days these songs r famous in Telangana area, we andhra n telangana people r familiar with such songs, but north indian n non indian audience may not hv any idea abt it, even the song komaram bheemudo was written by one of the famous revolutionary singer from telangana area, if u concentrate on the lyrics of the song we can feel the oppression his people r facing.... 6) the subtext or easter egg about the "Barbed whip" that lady scott threw to torture jr NTR is that in the climax when the Scott's empire blows up when lady scott died we can see her body hanging in "Barbed wires" implying that she finally got what she deserved.... "karma is a bitch"🤭🤭🤣 7) near the climax when jr NTR knocks on the floor to find ram who was imprisoned in the ground, he actually knocks the same beats of Nacho Nacho song, so that only ram charan could recognise it's him rather than other possible prisoners, ram charan also reciprocates by knocking the same beat of nacho nacho, even in the earlier scene when ram charam is bit by snake he plays the same beats to communicate with jr NTR, the cinematic brilliance of rajamouli for using a song in so many ways giving easter eggs all the way around is lit🔥🔥🔥 hatsoff to rajamouli 🙏 8) the scene about bheem carrying ram in the climax sequence may seem a bit overemphasized, but even earlier in the film in dosti song there was a shot giving easter eggs, where we can see jr ntr doing squats on the ground lifting ram charan, then ram charan does pull ups holding a tree branch, this way rajamouli is planting an idea subconsciously to his audience that jr ntr got lower body strength n ram charan got upper body strength... So that audience get convinced during the climax scene where bheem carries ram... Even the scene seems physically impossible, rajamouli never hesitates to show his ideas n imaginations in the most convincing way possible, that scene may be impossible but u could never find any other director pulling of such a scene in any film like rajamouli... Respect.... 9) The same way In climax fight sequence bheem lifting a bike looks over the top for sure, but do u know those bikes were actually used during second world war time so that in any unforeseen situation during war the soldiers can actually carry the bikes, those bikes weight around 55kgs only, i agree that even 55 kg bike travelling at 50kmph velocity is difficult to be lifted... But look at the way it was imagined, presented, picturized, the mesmerising cinematography in that scene, the kind of goosebumps it gave us, we should watch the movie for its epicness, rather than being nitpicky about everything.... 10) At the climax that transformation of ram charan🔥🔥, many people thought that was sree ram's avatar, there r mythological references to the movie for sure but its not just sree ram's avatar, its actually the original look of Alluri seeta rama raju (the freedom fighter ram charan was playing), alluri seeta rama raju in history was well learnt man who wears those kashayam clothes fights with bow n arrows, probably the best archer india has ever had, he fought against britishers he got weapons n guns by attacking police stations n british camps, he used the same weapons to attack britishers with his trusted men... Even he was shot dead by britishers in the freedom struggle... Legend says that britishers put around 100 bullets in his body n ruthlessly killed him... At the end of the film rajamouli showed ram n bheem in their original looks ram wearing kashayam clothes, with long hair n beard, bheem with a pagdi on his head n those clothes gond people used to wear... 11) the final RRR fact, For the interval sequence with animals rajamouli shot for around 65 nights, each night they spent around 75lakhs for the shoot itself... In that interval sequence they had to imagine animals were there n fight accordingly, for that to happen n so that each n every background artist to be in sync with the CG animals rajamouli employed different tactics while shooting which were not even used in Hollywood movies, a) for bear they used a person wearing green blanket, since the movement of bear is slow similar to a human being... b)For shots with tiger, tiger moves much faster than humans, so they can't just place a human with green blanket, so rajamouli positioned laser lights following the head position of the tiger, so that camera man n actors can imagine the position of tiger n act accordingly. c) for wolves they used dogs which were trained to catch a ball, while shooting the sequence they randomly throw the balls in middle of men, so the dogs chase the balls, in that way rajamouli captured peoples reactions to wolves, later on during CG he replaced the dogs with wolves... d) for other fast moving animals like deers, they used remote controlled cars moving in between the actors....

Bheem(among the Pandavas) in Indian Itihasa is brother of Lord Hanuman via the Vayu(Wind element) Dev. Bheem is also a Sanskrit term to denote "very huge" and is used as an attribute or name for Lord Hanuman in Hanuman Chalisa. Bheem carrying Ram is similar to Shri Hanuman carrying Lord Ram on his shoulders, especially since this time in the movie Sita(the character played by Alia Bhatt) had asked Bheem to bring Ram to him.
Who else wants them to watch Sardar Udham Singh. I mean, Shoojit Sircar and Vicky Kaushal have outdone themselves and it deserves to be widely recognized
All my life I’ve been trying to tell people Indian movies (Tollywood&Boywood) are NOT musicals, the way they use music and songs is completely different to musicals. I’m so glad Rick talked about/picked up on how it linked the plot.
Songs in this movie were useful and entertaining. But we get 5 to 6 songs in all the remaining movies and are very boring to watch and often useless in storytelling.
Bollywood and Tollywood are SO heavily slept on by western audiences. I'm so excited to watch this movie and I'm really glad you guys have started watching things from South Asian film industries
@@jim_from_it3261 you shouldn't use that word Bollywood classic for 3 idiots, you should said Indian, if that was the case, we will cal RRR a telugu film ,only Telugu film

Please note that RRR is NOT a Bollywood movie. It is in Telugu and is a product of the 'Tollywood' movie industry. EDIT: This comment was written as a reply to the incorrect title that was given to this episode of the podcast. Earlier, it read "Bollywood" instead of "Tollywood" and that's why I commented asking them to make the factual correction. As pointed out by many, Zach himself clarifies the distinction. The comment section seems to have misinterpreted my comment, so thought it was necessary that I clarify it once :) thnx, much love.
That was most gorgeous generous and genuine review ive seen by any one till date on you tube. Thats exitemt is what exactly i felt while watching this movies and i belive others has same feeling.
First time I watched it I got non stop chills. Half from how camp and cringe some scenes/moments were, but mostly just from how like... THEY REALLY WENT THERE THEY REALLY DID THAT OH MAN THEY HAVE NO FEAR and it was EXHILIRATING.
Instead of using woods, we should call industries by their actual names. Like telugu cinema, Tamil cinema, Marathi cinema, Kannada Cinema, Hindi cinema etc. And at the end of the day it's all Indian cinema.
Curiously, RRR began as a prototype title back when the movie was in development. Director S.S. Rajamouli has since revealed that the title originally stood for Rajamouli, Ram Charan, and Rama Rao, the names of the director and the two main actors. Fans were so hyped up for these superstars coming together that the title was trending everywhere so they decided to stick with it
Rules about moustaches are different in Indian defense. You cannot keep them when you're under training but after a while it's allowed. Moustaches are considered as a sign of strength and prestige in many communities in India.
This is exactly me coming home and running over all the living room explaining my mom how fricking the film is, after watching the film in theater. I'll never ever forgot the theatrical experience I had for this film. I was literally literally at the edge of seat for all the fucking 3 hours, shouting laughing crying and jaw dropping. That is Telugu film industry and That's Indian cinema ❤ Thanks Rajamouli garu for the hell of story and direction, and our two hunks RamCharan as Raju and Jr.NTR as Bheem and all the cinema unit. You made us proud. Period.
This podcast is god damn incredible. It’s taught me SO much already about passion for writing and cinema. Garrick’s monologue cutting occasionally to Zach needing to take moments to physically express himself 😂 my biggest GP laugh ever
It’s criticized rightfully so, I’m a Desi who grow up watching Bollywood and I know about it’s misogyny and lack of creativity first hard. RRR was a breath of fresh air in comparison to movies I use to watch as a kid.
@@kotaniyumiko I don't disagree, the indian film industry has its issues. However, If the criticism was based upon the misogyny... I would completely agree with you. I personally don't like many aspects of indian cinema either, however I do also believe there have been some really good films as well. Most of the criticism I see is based upon their own stereotypes, ignorance, or just plain racism.
Criticism for Indian cinema from the west have barely anything to do with the problematic elements within. Its mainly due to the fact that Western audience are too rigid and narrow-minded for different type of storytelling. They expect every movie should have a similar structure such as sticking to three act narrative, sticking to a single tone and genre etc. Most commercial Indian movies blend tones and genres, which is something they cannot wrap their heads around. There is also a bit of racism, superiority complex as well. The beginning of this very video is an example. The guy literally said what he was thinking when watching the trailer and he was condescending as fuck.
it actually amazing watching people around the world watch indian movies and i feel even more honored bc this movie and others like baahubali were originally made in MY native tongue rather than hindi
At 13:50, the protester breaks the portrait of King George V (Queen Liz's grandpa) the "Emperor of India" at the time. The British monarch would have their portrait in every official British police station/Govt location in all the colonies. It was extremely disrespectful to destroy the portrait, so that's why the British General calls for the protester to be arrested. Ram/Raju is the only officer to step forward which leads to him getting recommended for hunting Bheem.
Here are the next movies you guys should watch immediately after watching RRR 1) baahubali the beginning and 2) baahubali the conclusion Guess who directed these films, same guy who directed RRR It's S.S.RAJAMOULI These Two movies are 🔥 which broke all the regional boundaries in india Even today "baahubali" franchise is BIGGEST grosser of all time Thank me later :)
im gonna come back after watching it im excited update: it’s absolutely worth the time and somehow this episode STILL didn’t cover the entirety of this majestic experience omg
Okay - 1 misunderstanding... They didn't promote raju 1st time , because that's what happened in reality. No matter how talented you are, they can not give an officer post to an Indian. This is reason why "SUBHASH CHANDRA BOS" ( the one of the greatest freedom fighter ) created an army. He achieved no 1 rank in an officer level exam but they gave that position to a british.
You guys should definitely watch “Bahubali-the beginning “ and “Bahubali-The Conclusion “.The movie RRR and both these movies have been directed by the same director S.S.Rajamouli.He is known for taking a long to finish each film.He is also know as “Jakkanna” as he always tries to perfect every scene, every shot, every dialogue. Both these films have had a huge impact on the entire Indian film industry.
@@rishabhjain7543 Is it too boring and mainstream for you because it’s successful and well-known?The story is not the greatest but the way the story was presented by the amazing crew and excellent actors is what makes the movie special.
Yeah, the Tollywood industry is known for its over the top action sequences. It seems to be working though since they produce some of the biggest blockbusters in the country.
What you missed in rescue mission of boy is.. the revolutionary flag was dipped in water before it was thrown to Bheem so that he can cover himself with wet cloth to get protected from the fire from burning train
The fact that I'm 100% sure that Ram Charan (Ramaraju's actor) will blush if he ever heard you guys complimenting his look, make that whole segment 110% more hilarious. Edit: also if y'all love that character intro scenes, y'all need to watch the short videos of Ramaraju for Bheem and Bheem for Ramaraju. Because those videos slaps.
Also like I can't find the link but at Tumblr someone was pointing out that Tarak (Bheem's actor) must have classic dance training like Kuchipudi, etc or something because everytime he jumps, he points his feet like a dancer. And rewatching RRR while noticing new details like that is just *chef kiss*-
I am so proud to come from the place that produces Tollywood movies and now when I say my mother tongue is Telugu, a lot more people would've heard of the language. Also so glad I understand Telugu because the film hits 100 times harder in it's original language if you understand it. The dialogue writing is exceptional and the emotions of the actors is heard very well in their language.
Please watch Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion both were also directed by S.S. Rajamouli and they are just as frenzied and cinematic as RRR
The director SS Rajamouli did around 12 films ..he doesn't have a flop and his previous work Bahubaali (which released in 2 parts ..1st in 2015 and 2nd in 2017) is considered the best of his works in India.. Bahubaali the conclusion is the highest grosser in India while the highest grossed Indian movie is Dangal (which was a huge hit in china).. Bahubaali 2 came 2nd..
Funfact: initially this was named after real names as project RRR which means R in Rajamouli(director), R in Ramarao(Bheem), R in Ramcharan(Ramaraju). #RRR Became so popular that they came up with the movie name rise roar revolt.
I find it very irritating people calling it right wing 'themes' in this movie... Its like saying if black people making movies celebrating their pre colonial cultures by making anti apartheid movies they are black nationalists and they should be ashamed of that somehow
23:29 what Garrick said is so interesting because in the Indian Army, in certain regiments you actually get mustache allowance for keeping them big and twirly!
RRR has all the very best elements of shounen anime, action flicks, superhero movies, and old hollywood movie musicals bundled together into three hours and seven minutes of pure cinematic crack cocaine. Truly the most movie of all time.
Suggestion: As much as people want to watch SS Rajamouli's films, I'd still say as a Telugu person, watch his movies from EEGA, Then Baahubali. He made these films with the intention that they'll be catered to all audiences, unlike his first 6-7 films, which were made totally for the Telugu audience's mindsets. You "may" want to watch his and Ram Charan's (Raju in RRR) other film "Magadheera" which is still a film made with Telugu Audience in mind (you'll understand what I'm saying once you watch it), but maybe you'll like it. So yeah, EEGA (His Best work to date, at least for me), Baahubali 1 and 2 [Literally united all of India's film industries] and ofc, RRR.
@@dattasai4109 I don’t think magadheera will be liked by westerners because apart from the kala bhairava flashback, nothing is interesting or even acting isn’t that good when compared to today’s standards

IT IS NOT A PROPAGANDA! The director is a Hindu and he shows his culture- Indian culture using real life heroes and Indian epic characters.. showing your culture is not propaganda! Please ignore whoever says that. So many reviewers mention it and I do not understand why it needs to be mentioned.
I watched this movie today and I was blown away by the amazing cinematography, the action and overall grand vibe of the movie. I grew up watching Bollywood and Indian movies but haven't watched one in a long time because they have gotten terribly bad now. But this movie passed all my expectations. As you have said, I have yet to see a movie so epic and grand even from Hollywood.
*"RRR" Was An Indian film, Then It's Box Office Collection Was $160 Milloin, imagine, If it Was A Hollywood(In English) film, Then it Was Seen All Over The World, Then How Much Would it's Box Office Collection.* 🤔 *Imagine S S Rajamouli With The Budget Of Marvel Films, That Guy Will Create The Greatest Movies Ever.* 🤔
Do you even know that making a Marvel movie in India will be also very cheap compared to making it in America, there is reason why most of this CGI work is done in India
30.21 the movie is called RRR because the actors and the director ( NTR, Ram Charan, SS Rajamouli ) have a prominent R in their name and when they signed the film in 2017 they captioned the insta post RRR and henceforth the title of the movie. The first R is the story, the second R is Water and the third R is Fire - but in the title the three R’s stand for Rise Roar Revolt
Two things: A- did anyone else recognize the King, but not know why for 2 hours until you looked up the cast and saw that he was Four’s dad from “Divergent”, or…? B- I don’t think my girl Jenny got barely enough credit. Is she a colonizer? Yes. BUT she genuinely feels like kind of bad about it and is doing whatever she can to help Bheem. Don’t shoot the messenger, but I thought that she was just GREAT.
Probably not gonna see this but they had a bts video where they explained that Jenny’s parents were killed by her aunt and uncle for land so that’s why she is nice and helps bheem find raju. I think she allows us as watchers to see just how wholesome bheem is.
Omg... this is the best review of RRR... love it... I am just wondering how Ram Charan would react to this discussion lol.... I wish Buzzfeed does a thirst tweet reading with Ram Charan 😆😆
ALSO There is another movie by Rajamouli (the director of RRR) called Magadheera starring Ram Charan (who plays Ram) that's so good, and Rajamouli got national recognition from a movie series called Bahubali thats really good, and on Netflix.
#RRR was initially the working title of this movie where each letter represents the real names of the director (Rajamouli) and the two stars (Rama Rao & Ram Charan) but they had to go for this one as the title as, we fans, loved it so much
So nice to finally see the south's film industry finally getting the recognition they deserve. Also slight flex, my former employer was involved in Hindi dialogues and production.
Guys... this is a Tollywood(Telugu) film... I mean... Guilty Pleasures... Talking about RRR... This is... I mean... Amazzzingggggg 😍..... literally 20 min just about the introduction scenes... 😂😂😂 They are Blown away...
The name RRR was just the code name of the project but Twitter blew up after the announcement of the project so Rajamouli sir kept the name and later changed the full form to make it movie accurate, originally it was short for Rajamouli, Ramcharan and Ramarao(NTR Jr)
So much enthusiasm, love it! Never seen such fun in other RRR reviews on UA-cam. You guys reaction is so infectious and enjoyable to watch. Your honesty in your reaction is gem!
fun fact - the war bikes at that era weigh only 50 to 60 kg which a normal soldier can lift but flipping is another thing which depends on your believability
I just wished they had watched Bahubali before RRR because after watching RRR every other movie watching experience will be a little underwhelming for them. No Indian cinema can match RRR. Maybe Lagaan could be a good movie to watch but I am not sure americans would like the movie as they don't know anything about cricket. They might enjoy 3 Idiots.

I think the only reason this movie got so popular in India because of two reasons:
1) Ramcharan and NTR working together.
Same with bridge scene e.t.c
And see kgf 2 they keep on blabbering like hell lot lot lot of subtitles that's why kgf 2 did not that much hype comapre to RRR.

No need to write these elaborative comments explaining details. They don't care.

Few easter eggs and fun facts of RRR:
1) When bahubali was released many people began to nitpick about small things in the movie, they began to look for flaws, one such flaw which was pointed out by many people is the iconic scene where prabhas makes the huge jump in the waterfall, many pointed out that he should take a run up to make such a huge jump, instead he just jumps from the edge, thats the reason y in RRR When ram and bheem meet for the 1st time, to rescue the kid under the bridge while they jump down the bridge they take a run up in rajamouli style with a horse n a bike🤣🤣 guess what rajamouli learns from his mistakes, even in the same scene we can see ram charan takes a flag dips it in the water n makes it wet before he throws it to jr NTR, so that when jr NTR wraps it around it won't catch fire 🔥🔥... The imagination n brilliance of rajamouli sir🔥🔥 Respect👍👍
2) Unlike many other indian movies which involve english actors, in RRR we find the performances of english actors far better, that's because rajamouli approached professionals, the one who played Scott is "Ray Stevenson" one who acted in "Thor" movies, one who played lady Scott is "Alison doody" the lead actress from indiana jones....
"karma is a bitch"🤭🤭🤣
7) near the climax when jr NTR knocks on the floor to find ram who was imprisoned in the ground, he actually knocks the same beats of Nacho Nacho song, so that only ram charan could recognise it's him rather than other possible prisoners, ram charan also reciprocates by knocking the same beat of nacho nacho, even in the earlier scene when ram charam is bit by snake he plays the same beats to communicate with jr NTR, the cinematic brilliance of rajamouli for using a song in so many ways giving easter eggs all the way around is lit🔥🔥🔥 hatsoff to rajamouli 🙏
8) the scene about bheem carrying ram in the climax sequence may seem a bit overemphasized, but even earlier in the film in dosti song there was a shot giving easter eggs, where we can see jr ntr doing squats on the ground lifting ram charan, then ram charan does pull ups holding a tree branch, this way rajamouli is planting an idea subconsciously to his audience that jr ntr got lower body strength n ram charan got upper body strength...
In that interval sequence they had to imagine animals were there n fight accordingly, for that to happen n so that each n every background artist to be in sync with the CG animals rajamouli employed different tactics while shooting which were not even used in Hollywood movies,
a) for bear they used a person wearing green blanket, since the movement of bear is slow similar to a human being...
b)For shots with tiger, tiger moves much faster than humans, so they can't just place a human with green blanket, so rajamouli positioned laser lights following the head position of the tiger, so that camera man n actors can imagine the position of tiger n act accordingly.
c) for wolves they used dogs which were trained to catch a ball, while shooting the sequence they randomly throw the balls in middle of men, so the dogs chase the balls, in that way rajamouli captured peoples reactions to wolves, later on during CG he replaced the dogs with wolves...
d) for other fast moving animals like deers, they used remote controlled cars moving in between the actors....

@@mayarana9668 sab jagah misogyny dikhti hai tum jaiso ko. What a waste of oxygen you are.
I find it very irritating people calling it right wing 'themes' in this movie... Its like saying if black people making movies celebrating their pre colonial cultures by making anti apartheid movies they are black nationalists and they should be ashamed of that somehow
Precisely.
Hi u r here too😅
These mofo's should be called out 🤬🤬🤬
Spittin 💯
This is new India! Future is ours
Feels good seeing all of you enjoying this movie so much, that is more than an Oscar for the crew.
So yeah, EEGA (His Best work to date, at least for me), Baahubali 1 and 2 [Literally united all of India's film industries] and ofc, RRR.
i agree with you......but i still feel like....they might like magadheera......it comes next in line after bahubali series and eega.....
@@dattasai4109 I don’t think magadheera will be liked by westerners because apart from the kala bhairava flashback, nothing is interesting or even acting isn’t that good when compared to today’s standards
@@saikiranme402 it was a big success in japan.......they might like it......nothing wrong in suggesting the movie......it is also one of the best works of rajamouli
@@dattasai4109 yeah they might like magadheera, but when I saw few foreign reviews didn’t liked first 20-30 mins of eega, then I felt that maybe they may not like magadheera first half
@@saikiranme402 the ones who suggested eega also asked them to bare the first 20 mins.......the movie gets interesting later.....for them.
Definitely the BEST movie I’ve seen all year, i’ve watched it twice last week and my friend and I had the time of our lives lmaooo - also as a dancer that was the best dance scene I’ve ever seen on film, so intricately difficult but these actors are true talents. And EVERY movie should be jealous of the ending number they had instead of credits my goodness
The ultimate bromance movie!!! Absolute loved it!
*"RRR" Was An Indian film, Then It's Box Office Collection Was $160 Milloin, imagine, If it Was A Hollywood(In English) film, Then it Was Seen All Over The World, Then How Much Would it's Box Office Collection.* 🤔
*Imagine S S Rajamouli With The Budget Of Marvel Films, That Guy Will Create The Greatest Movies Ever.* 🤔
Do you even know that making a Marvel movie in India will be also very cheap compared to making it in America, there is reason why most of this CGI work is done in India
Ya , he will copy more and more scenes from Hollywood.
this movie has been living rent free on my mind for about a month now.
watching this podcast was just a fckin experience
subbed, loved the vibes
30.21 the movie is called RRR because the actors and the director ( NTR, Ram Charan, SS Rajamouli ) have a prominent R in their name and when they signed the film in 2017 they captioned the insta post RRR and henceforth the title of the movie. The first R is the story, the second R is Water and the third R is Fire - but in the title the three R’s stand for Rise Roar Revolt
I love how passionately you talk about this film!!
Ram Charan is no less than a Greek god
THERE'S A WHOLE WORLD OF CINEMA TO DISCOVER. YES!!! THAT'S INDIAN CINEMA FOR YOU.
Watched the whole podcast and it felt like 10 mins just like RRR. Loved every second of it, great work guys
Two things:
A- did anyone else recognize the King, but not know why for 2 hours until you looked up the cast and saw that he was Four’s dad from “Divergent”, or…?
B- I don’t think my girl Jenny got barely enough credit. Is she a colonizer? Yes. BUT she genuinely feels like kind of bad about it and is doing whatever she can to help Bheem. Don’t shoot the messenger, but I thought that she was just GREAT.
Oh my God, I have not seen you guys this excited about a film. I am invested in this movie now lol!
I can't imagine the reaction of Ram Charan's wife ....💀💀🗿
@@prasannaighe5188 😆 🤣 😂
I think one of the ways this movie is better than Marvel stuff is how earnest it is. There isn't a single-tension-breaking quip in the whole thing
The story after 26:00 mark is one of the most hilarious and amazing anecdote I have ever heard.
Guys... this is a Tollywood(Telugu) film...
Happy to see people screaming at them for calling it Bollywood, I saw the original title and was about to scold them myself
Guys change the title of the video. This is the best rrr review on UA-cam. So genuine. Love it.
👏👏👏didn’t think this would happen, but I love that you guys reviewed this! Also, review Bahubali part 1 and part 2 and Makkhi!
I agree, Bahubali is a beautiful piece of movie
Eega would be a wild ride 🔥
I just wished they had watched Bahubali before RRR because after watching RRR every other movie watching experience will be a little underwhelming for them.
No Indian cinema can match RRR.
Maybe Lagaan could be a good movie to watch but I am not sure americans would like the movie as they don't know anything about cricket.
They might enjoy 3 Idiots.
@@ArkoRay there’s so much that they’ve yet to dive into, it’s crazy. I’m looking to it though. Really hoping they look at the comments and see the movie recommendations.
I am so glad you guys finally have a review for it. Best cinematic experience ever! Went twice and I have seen it at least 10 times in Netflix.
Both actors are so good looking they have great chemistry but Jr NTR Bheem in my opinion is the sexiest hottest dude ever! Jaw dropping moment for me..What a man! He can come and pick me up anytime! I ll do the dishes and cook 😂😂😂
😂😂
