What's really urgent though is the proper infrastructure for bicycles, e bikes, e scooters,e boards and so on. I couldn't agree more, a lot of cities ban scooters as well, we have a really pretty touristy spot that I'd love to shoot scooter reviews at but are banned, most of my riding has to be done on trails. Cyclists in my area are forced to share the road with vehicles which can be frustrating for both parties.
That's not allowed with the current narrative. Free wireless electric and transport was around over 100 years ago. Google autoped this was an electric scooter in the early 1900s people were becoming smart and designing their own powerful machines that would run all day on free tesla electrics but with knowledge was shut down and the reset with the wars took alot of good things and genius people away just so we would have to pay for everything.

Only 18.2 AH 🤒 Dual drive is very power-consuming, especially if the battery is lower than 20AH, the driving range in high-speed mode should be only 15MPH, and it will be completely out of power.
Being that I still consider myself a beginner I keep it in single motor, eco mode, gear 1. That acceleration with everything maxed out is a bit too much for my noob self, maybe one day soon!
when the stem is folded down, does the stem stay locked? or is it just flimsy? wondering because to place this in my trunk, id normally grab by the stem (when folded). But it doesnt seem to lock when down in your video... unless I am wrong?

@@JacobDarkOfficial Looks like for $50 you can buy the hook kit. You need that in order to keep the neck down. That seems a little bit weak considering that other brands would automatically lock.
@@PointShiftDrive in fairness the scooter weighs about 30kg. Any locking mechanism would only encourage a bent stem. The stem isnt really meant for supporting the entire scooter and the scooter isnt meant to be something to be carried around
Not sure why every hi end scooter review seems to skim over or miss uphill performance review. Should I write off e scooters if I go up hills and buy an ebike instead? I know Limes don’t do well uphill but will a Varla? I’m happy to do a hill review from Seattle. 🤗
Go settings and go to the 8th option, change the speed to 90. you can go faster than 40!! Enjoy. PS (I wrote this when I first received it). 3 months later , it was useless. Now in terms of support. You can change quite a few things. And in case if any teens are reading, DO not try this if you do, make sure you have plenty of free range to not have to brake abruptly. I personally do not trust these Asian manufacturers with my life.... and the varla is a white label scooter. Now for the experienced bikers , have fun :)-

If it was me, I ride for fun and don't need a scooter to go 60 miles distance, I'd save the $400 and go Varla. Just letting everyone know that Varla customer support and warranty is non existent. They do not answer emails nor answer their phone. They act like they have support in US but the answering machine is a Great Britain voice. Their online reviews are filtered. They only allow positive 5 star reviews. The 2 year warranty is very deceptive. If you don't believe me just read whats covered. This is from actual experience with Varla scooter company

I think that would depend more on your truck capability than the scooter, but in theory if it has a standard plug like home it should, just a question of how slow a charge would you get. That said I've taken the scooter out multiple times and have only needed to charge once.

Whats your take on the tires? They look pneumatic. A flat can mean an Uber ride home. Some scooters in this price range or a bit more have wider tires. I'd like to compare these skinny tires to a cooler with more rubber on the road. Seems like these clone scoots are all made in the same factory in China. All parts look identical in 3 or 4 brands. This might make a buying choice come down to availability. I am drawn towards Apollo from Canada, or a company that is the largest and most likely to be around in 5 years. Anybody can import scooters from China and be unreliable for parts and support. So confusing these days with all these clones. Natural,y, you'll give a favorable review to guys X who give you a free product. This company is giving free scoots to several UA-camrs. not that it or the clones are not good scooters, its just where do you get unbiased reviews with true critiques?

Don't get. Pay a little extra for a unique higher quality build by a reputable company.
The wolf warrior weights over 100 pounds. This one, at 70 pounds is pushing it for pulling it in and out of a trunk consistently. The wolf warrior is also significantly more expensive. I don't doubt that it performs better and has better build quality. It should for the price increase. But I wouldn't buy it on for the weight factor alone.
@@TurreTuntematon My son has the Apollo Phantom and while it is very similar to the Varla scooter the big main differences are the Braking system is way better. The suspension is a quad suspension and the thumb throttle is way better than the trigger. Plus it feels more stable and natural to ride. All around pretty great ride.

The acceleration has nothing to do with top speed... I set mine to 100% and top speed is 40...
