    I'm so impressed by how you were able to pare down your life to the bare minimum but also glad that you indulge yourself with pop tarts and cheez its. Hope you're having a good time!

      Thanks! :) It was crazy hard to get down to just the essentials, but it's been so nice to not have my life full of clutter! Couldn't give up my snacks 😂

    I was trying to find a videos of the different things people have done with their Nissan Muranos.
    (I have a 1st gen Nissan Murano SL AWD)
    & I found this video. It's really cool to see someone doing something like this with their Nissan Murano. 👊

    I am so glad I found this as I’m wanting to set up my 2015 Murano for car camping. The one question I have for you is, is there a problem keeping the key fob in the vehicle overnight or for extended periods and draining the car battery? I discovered that one year when I kept leaving my keys in my Pathfinder in the garage only to have the battery go dead on me after a few nights. Thanks for this video it’s awesome

    • @ZoeLoza

      I kept my key fob in the car every night for the six weeks I was on this trip and had no issues. I did put a brand new battery in my car before I left though so it may be a risk with a less healthy battery.

    Just found your video from a friend. Thanks for the tour, some good tips and ideas. I like that you left your seats in as that is what I'll be doing to. Subbed and will check out the videos of your travels.

      I seen the litter box I guess I just had to watch farther down what kind of litter did you use to keep down on smell and how did you do that was that a tote with a lid or how did you do that sorry I'm just trying to get the cat life down

    • @ZoeLoza
      @ZoeLoza  3 роки тому

      That's awesome! I used to live in Idaho, beautiful state!
      For the cat, I had a litter box on the floor of the passengers seat and a litter genie trash can in the back to empty the litter box into to contain the smell!

    Good work but I would recommend buying a refrigerator to keep the food from the mold and think that the car needs some arrangement you can put some things that you do not always need on the roof top . Good luck and have a nice time. 🌹

    • @ZoeLoza
      @ZoeLoza  5 років тому

      Thanks for the suggestions! Since it was just a short trip I didn't take it but any foods that needed to be kept cold so that I wouldn't have to worry. I also wanted everything to for in the car so I could access everything at anytime, which is why I didn't keep anything on the roof.

    nice! where do u park at night so u dont get towed away or mugged?

    • @ZoeLoza
      @ZoeLoza  3 роки тому

      Campgrounds mostly. Sometimes I pay for them, sometimes in National Forest or BLM land there is dispersed camping that's free. If you're not in a place with lots of public park land then I hear walmart is a good option in most states.

      I just keep it there while we're moving, or up in the dash. When he's actually eating, he doesn't eat in the car.

    Do you open the windows when you sleep at night? How to keep bugs out and let air in?

    • @ZoeLoza
      @ZoeLoza  4 роки тому +1

      Good question! I left the windows shut at night but usually kept the sun roof cracked a little bit. I would get bugs in the car occasionally, but honestly that's just part of camping.

    How do you do laundry? Bathe?

    • @ZoeLoza
      @ZoeLoza  4 роки тому +1

      I went to a laundry mat about once every other week to do laundry. As for showering...campground showers, gyms, occasional hotel rooms, and when really desperate: rivers.
