David Schultz - How Vince McMahon Treats his Wrestlers
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 сер 2024
- "Dr. D" David Schultz discusses various Vince McMahon allegations and how he would treat his wrestlers back in the WWF days. Schultz wrestled and worked for both AWA (American Wrestling Alliance) and later WWF (World Wrestling Federation).
Schultz has plenty to say about his old boss Vince McMahon. Dr. D is known for slapping 20/20 reporter John Stosstel while he was trying to expose the world of pro wrestling. After a lawsuit and a couple other incidents, Schultz was terminated from WWF.
Now hear why Dr. D says Vince should never be involved in wrestling again. He also alleges there were plenty of explosive allegations surrounding McMahon that were hidden from public eye. This is all from David Schultz's point of view, the man who the Stone Cold character was heavily influenced by.

Schultz and many others who have called Vince out over the years can now be vindicated. They were all telling the truth (for the most part).
Schultz and all the Wrestlers should have listened to Jesse Ventura and unionize.
Schultz got Fkd by vince on that reporter slap . Sure Vince paid the suit but then he had to let Schultz go
One of the best skits ever is Dr. d showing Vince and lord Alfred Hayes his gun collection 😂
This may be the most accurate, no BS, description of how McMahon treats his wrestlers ever published.
Wrestlers should have listened to Jesse Ventura and Unionize.
@@johndicksonkaraoke2554 the wrestlers who made the big money opposed the move so the rest were out of gas.
These accusations don’t sound that far fetched anymore.
They never did for people who didn't ride Vince's nuts
To be fair, Vince has been telling on himself for decades.
they never did...
@@Forever_Thatter Exactly. People actually thought Vince would be a really good man in real life? Based on what, I ask them.
What makes you think these stories are far fetched?
WELL, THIS CLIP AGED WELL..
My exact thought at this point:"...gonna be honest, treat me right, and do what he says".
Dr. D has known this for 40 years. "Im surprised no one has done away with Vince". Truthfully... I am surprised as well. How many people has Vince screwed over
He almost fucked up Crossing Bill Watts in 1984 according to a bathroom story overheard by Jim Ross...
He was untouchable. Like the godfather of the mafia, everyone turned a blind eye to his behaviour out of respect or fear.
I mean the first thing he did after his father died was go against his fathers dying wish to not kill off and monopolise the territories.
Hes been scummy ever since he got into power. Just everyone has let it slide because of how much he’s done for the industry
This is not entirely true. A wrestler by the name of Nailz nearly beat Vince McMahon to death in the early 1990’s.
@@zestyclose_village68Yeah, I heard Vince had tried to grab his junk or something and caught a whoopin. Cops were called but no charges filed.
Wish Nailz done away with him the only one with the guts
My grandfather worked for Vince 1989-1991 he owned him over $100,000 and never paid him
Who was your grandfather?

Sounds like vince. I'm guessing highering lawyers and going yo court wasn't worth it being that it would cost more thsn 100k
@@beachaddict7653but most of his business was done on handshake deals and trust. So it wouldn’t have been hard for McMahon to totally shaft someone
Yep
This Is how they do people under employment for family benefits. & job security! If you want Vince to give you a spot, You gotta put out something precious. " self Respect & Autonomy."
🙏 be strong together they can't fight that " BUNKHOUSE STAMPEEF"
David Schultz was maybe the scariest heel I remember as a kid
Dr D once again telling the truth. Look at it all now.
Well, it took another 19 years but he finally 'got it'
Glad these uploads are retroactively appearing. We've all watched these shoots before but listening a little more intently.
Dr. D lived long enough to see what’s happening to McMahon Love it 👍
I heard a few wrestlers say they are surprised that Vince wasnt found somewhere
*Usually, I take what is said in these shoot interviews with a grain of salt, but I believe every word Schultz says here.*
WWE missed the boat with Dr. D after the Stossel slapping incident. They could’ve had Dr. D going around finding people in the arena, on the streets, in subways, in the airports or wherever who thought wrestling was “fake”. Then BOOM! They get the thunder from Schultz too. Imagine how entertaining that would’ve been.
He should be interviewed again. I want to hear what he thinks about the new scandal.
Someone calling Vince McMahon "Junior". Oh man...
@Tweeter05 It's so weird... I'm not used to that at all.
@@awesomo925 There's Vince Sr and Vince Jr, what's weird about that?
@@MMA-CLIPS2 Cause Vince HATES being called Vince Jr! 🤣
@@awesomo925Vince is being called worse than Junior these days.
So?@@awesomo925
I never understood the fans who chanted "Thank you Vince". He always seemed the heel on and off camera.
He saved wrestling if it wasn't for him it still be in the dark looking dusty
@@kingsports1113 it looked dusty in the 80's. He didn't save anything. It had millions of fans when he showed up.
@@takerdust Wrestling was as redneck as Nascar and catered to one audience until Vince changed the world with Hulkamania.
Agreed
sure do miss Dr. D wrestling and interviews
He made schultz slap the reporter stossel and promised him he would take care of him than after he fired him
To be fair if you are convinced by your boss to assault someone just for comments they made about wrestling that's a pretty dumb move.
@@melvert33 back than that's how the business was wrestlers protected the business like that , but I agree dumb
This is the real Stone Cold. His promos were legendary.
He's the "REEL DR. D DAVID SHULTZ" that stone cold copied from.
You know, I never seen this guy wrestle or speak until post career, but once i seen a promo i instantly thought stone cold. It’s uncanny
Dr D is the Man. He tells it like it is!!! in my book, he goes down as one of the greatest wrestlers to grace the square circle. Vince McMahon really did him dirty. But then again, what else is new with Vince.
If Vince is found guilty he should have to tell David Schultz that he thinks wrestling is fake
Lol John stossel found that out the hard way

LMAOO
He's mellowed.
He isn't on steroids anymore.
This aged well.
would enjoy getting Dr D's take on the new allegations that have come to light
Come to light. Proofread, please. Otherwise, your post looks stupid and unintelligible.
@marklefkowitz4385
This ain't English class my esé.
I know Dr D and Billy Jack Haynes both have to be loving the situation Vince is currently in lol....
As well as they should enjoy it! In light of the things that came out about Vince Jr., he was/is a True Heel in real Life!!!
Dr. D is a legit bad a$$ and overall good person
@BillyBob-pu2vc He’s not a good person.
@@MM-ql9xj anyone who works as a bounty hunter to put criminals in their proper place and save women from being held captive and made to work in the sex trade is a GOOD MAN in my eyes!
Dr. D was my favourite wrestler of all time! He was Stone Cold before Austin ever was...I met him in North Bay when he fought Hercules Ayala! Great guy and nice to chat with as he signed my book for me in 1986 at the Memorial Gardens......
He finally got it
Yeah. Funny how believable he is now more than back in 2005
Dr D hit it right on the head today in 2024 Vince McMahon on the WWE😮 (he must have been psychic)💯
He may not have worked for Vince that long, but it was long enough for him to find out what kind of man he is. It's crazy how very, very different Vince is compared to his father.
He worked for WWWF Vince Sr and was around Vince Jr. And he seen the light of day between the two then ... Hogan called him to get him to leave AWA to go to WWF then he got full dose of Vince Jr, without his dad to kept him in line.
@@smithhart2920
Keep him in line, not kept, genius
this interview was ahead of it's time
Goes to show you the truth will always prevail. No matter how much time it takes
NOT ALWAYS !
Not really ,and surely not always
You can really hear the old school lawman in his voice Bounty Hunter's last of the cowboy's
Someone needs to interview him now
Dr D's book is excellent! Couldn't put it down
Good read 💯
After listening to the advice his lawyer gave him to not file a lawsuit and just go away and forget about WWE "losing" the evidence, i am ONE HUNDRED PERCENT CONFIDENT that his lawyer was paid off by Vince to give Dr D bad advice.
Keep the videos coming Dr D....
The thing about Dr. D is he doesn't like the standard questions
@hellgato3163 Well sooner or later that’s his problem
Only the tough survive. That's why you're not in it, and that punk behind the camera ain't in it.
Rest easy now Dr. The bastard is going to get his.
He isn't dead.
He isn't dead.
This sums up everything coming out about Vince now. So I'd say there's a really good chance the book gets made 🤣
Dave ages well.
This is really old.
@@thomass789 - Lol, 19 years. Thanks. I was looking at "19 hours" of rehash and thought it was new.
Always liked this Man. As a Kid, He sold Me and Made me Believe in Him. He's Sincere, and I can see why MANY People would gravitate towards Him. I'd like to see More of His Interviews.
Dave Shultz has always struck me (metaphorically thankfully) as a very honest guy. He just says the truth regardless of how it paints him or anyone else. That's pretty rare in wrestling where the bullshit is and works are non stop. Look no further than Hogan and Flair. Even the Rock on JRE was cringe lol.
I know dr. Death is loving every minute of this new Vince sheet where he’s gonna get slayed
The original Stone Cold still looks great.
This interview is REALLY old!
Haha well that explains it.
Dr. D is a legit badass.
Stone Cold said Vince once told him that he never wants a wrestler to know what he’s really worth
Dr. D does have a really good book out, but it doesn't have much of the info he's talking about here. Definitely worth buying anyway, though -- it's half wrestling, half bounty hunting stories.
Anyone who remembers the Attitude era is what? NOT SURPRISED ONE BIT 😂
He should have kept copies of his tapes.
"I wanted a woman!! I couldn't find no woman, but I saw a lot of men that LOOKED like women...what's wrong with YOU, Gene???" 🤣🤣
Wow,he was more on the mark than we imagined.
On the stolen tapes...why didn't you make copies before sending them?
Vince McMahon treat his wrestlers better or worse than Schultz treats reporters 😂
if Sr was such a stand up guy, i wonder what went wrong with Vince jr
Jr is a bastard, Sr had an affair and Vince jr is the result.
@@murraykelm5691 for real? I'm not finding anything on the web that talks about that, but it might explain some resentment
Vince Jr belongs in San Francisco
Vince Belongs in Jail along with Billy Jack Haynes. Update Billy Jack Haynes has been Arrested for Killing His 85 year old Wife.
💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Schultz has always been an outspoken man who calls it like he sees it!
Bret Hart once stated, Vince will always have the mentality of treating his wrestlers like circus animals.
Vince also, Lied to the fans when he said that this is athletic competition, before wrestling revealed that its fake instead of a sport. He made too many disasters that pisses the fans off, and nowadays WWE is downright lame.
When it comes to describing vince there's two guys I would believe the most Dr D and Jesse Ventura
I bet if you ask Schultz today about VM, he would say I told you so.
When it comes to the tapes, why didn't he make copies and just give Vince the copies?
When you're ordered to turn something over by the court, they kind of frown on making copies.
@@Cuchulainn1984 Maybe, but when you've got evidence in those tapes and your ordered to hand over those tapes to the guy you have the evidence on. It makes sense to have a few copies around.
Whatever you say about Schultz, he seems honest and looks better than most wrestlers half his age.
This interview is like two decades old.
Dude looks better now than he did in the 80s but with those tapes if they were so incriminating how did he not make copies?
DR. D DAVID SHULTZ That's my DAWG in the OL SKOOL WAR I respect and admired his courage throughout his career especially when he SMACKED the stuffin out of that TV Reporter.
Glad to see Schultz has finally calmed down and not suffering from steroid rage anymore.
His book is pretty good
Doctor's are respected members of our community so people should of believed this man years ago and dealt with vince earlier
Without Vince and what he created, my childhood would have pretty dull. If people got “used”, they allowed it to happen.
Dr d yet again telling the truth the man is right has been for a long time
Interesting to see him not acting like a total lunatic.
Shows you how great he was at his job. We’ve all heard the saying that the best pro wrestling “gimmicks” were guys just regular personality turned up a notch. Steve Austin, Brian Pillman, Brock Lesnar, Ric Flair, all guys that sort of floundered (even if just briefly) until they took their own personality and turned it up one notch. Dr D is a country guy, he sounds like every uncle or older male relative I have (I’m from Alabama) he’s funny so when he did his tough guy redneck routine people believed it. It’s believable but he’s never been arrested or even divorced so he must not really be a jerk lol.
Dr. D is the man!
He couldn't copy the tapes before handing them over?
Right. He should have made copies of everything!
and everyone said Schultz was crazy ... apparently crazy like a fox. Call this dude nostradamus
Bet Bruce Pritchard is beside himself hearing someone tell the truth about his idol 😂
Vince's week finally came.
These are the few wrestlers that will tell you and leave no sign of Kayfabe or just stories...... oh they age like Wine 🍷
David
David knew about his Vince !!
He was 100% correct.
I always like when they ask talent these questions that haven’t been with the company in 40+ years lol
I hear vince poops on his wrestlers though?
No. Just uses their name on dildos. Hopefully, not their likeness on it as well.
Maybe him and Amber Heard can hook up? 🤷♂️

The girl in the Jerry Lawyer case admitted to making the story up.
People turned to retract their stories after they have been threatened or paid. But stories about Jerry, Lawler and underage girls go back to the 80s when he was in Memphis. So she was probably paid very well.
Dr. Death still looks pretty good.
This is from 2006 or so.
Honestly David was better off without Vince McMahon he had a better career as a bounty hunter than a wrestler
Its not about how he treated them...its about how these tough guys let theirselves be treated.
Basicly they continued feeding the system and make McMahon rich by participating😂😂
