1st Case: The mamas were less mature than the kids, but the defendant's mom went from noise pollution to mute when her daughter's lies got exposed through those test results. The DNA spoke louder that EITHER annoying mama. I feel bad for the young man, but his age is not an ideal time to be a dad anyway. The good news is that he now has a clean slate to be a regular 19-20 yr. old & freely focus on his future without the burden of early fatherhood.
Only if he learns the lesson of being careful with who he sleeps with and covering up!
All that loud talking the judge should have made her answer who the other guy is . Most likely it's his friend's baby

I hate it when parents act as if they know everything their children do with their bodies…. First case, the daughter knew she hadn’t told her mother the truth and stuck to that lie like it was honorable.
In Lang vs Brown, the daughter did lie to her mom. But the mom was principled. As a loving mom, she stood tall beside her daughter in the court proceeding. She argued fiercely with the mom of the alleged father of her grandchild. But this was put of love for her daughter and believing this daughter was telling her the truth. When the truth was revealed, her reaction was to confront her lying daughter without hesitation. She told this daughter who ran out of the courtroom crying because she had been exposed and told this daughter" now you will have to go back in there and give them another name.." That proved the mom is a better person; she has character and is an honest person. So, in the end, it is OK that this mom entered the court believing her daughter had told her the truth. Liars are oftentimes very shrewd.
The first case was very devastating for her because of shame. She knew what she did with his friend. So sad for the both of them. 😮
What I will never understand is they know they slept with other men but refuse to admit the possibility.

@@vicakwe I can tell you have never dealt with family court/child support as a man. In most states the judge has the ability to determine what is in best interest of the child in his/her opinion. By the time this gets resolved, if it ever does, he will owe tens of thousands in child support and legal fees.
@@vicakwe fyi… A man can’t take himself off child support in any state. From personal experience, a man can give a lawyer a 5k to 10k to draft and file the legal documents. The lawyer will accompany the man to court and make a case to the judge. If the judge rules against the man, he can give the lawyer more money to appeal.

Any way, I’m assuming this wasn’t how they left the court that day.. and the scene where she talked to the alleged father and offered him some needed comfort was probably not included in the UA-cam video but IMO, that’s a scene that should not have been omitted because believe it or not, we men have feelings too so when we watch stuff like this and don’t see any sympathy being given to the dude, we feel bad about it.

I know it's a TV show and they let a lot of stuff slide for the purposes of drama and ratings, but sometimes I really wish Judge Lake would put people out of the courtroom. The two grandmas in the first case needed to be sent out, up there arguing like they're in divorce court, when the case is between their two kids.

In Lang vs Brown, the loudest mom which was Ms Brown's mom, got quiet quickly, but she is to be applauded fir what she tod her saughter: "you are going to have to go back in there and tell them another name." That proved she took a stand to make her daughter go back into the courtroom and finally tell the truth. That was a very revealing moment that reveal this mom has character. She only screamed and made offensive remarks earlier because she believed her daughter was not lying. You can't believe anyone 100%.

Im glad that mother had her sons back so many women lie about the paternity and if it wasn't for the mother he may not have proceeded with a DNA test. I would have my sons back too. DNA testing should automatically be done at birth and if it cant be done before a woman could demand child support a DNA test must be established. They need to start charging women with paternity fraud.
