It takes an examination of one's motives to determine if they are being realistic and honest. What was this mother's motive? You don't know. She needs to do a self-examination to identify and admit to her actual motives.
The proof is in the pudding. What did her "realistic and honest" speech and behavior accomplish? Did it portray truth? Did it support her daughter and grandchild? Did it help anything? Did it nurture her relationship with her daughter or bring them closer? Did it place her in a better position to help her daughter make better choices?

With the first case, that woman is 100% correct. If he thought there was a 25% chance he was the father he should have been there until it was determined he was or wasn’t. I have a 10 month old. His father saw him up until 7 months ago and then walked away. He is a coward who would rather say “I don’t believe that’s my child” than to accept responsibility and step up to be a man and a father. Single parenting is so bloody hard. The men should stick around until paternity is determined, because even if they thought there was a 1% chance of that child being theirs, then they should do the right thing by that child. Cowardly men!

@@shadowkissed2370 most women are way too embarrassed to do that because typically the truth is a hard pill to swallow. They already have the one in mind and alot of times that one will ride it all the way out. Until the truth is revealed 30 years later by DNA after the alleged father is proven not to be the biological father and that child, well grown up at that point, was robbed.. but DNA test should always be mandatory at birth. So all the alleged fathers 1,2,3 or 4 should be there getting DNA tests at birth. And so they don't have a possibility of missing out. 🤣🤣🤣
