As a Korean man, my generation didn't experience the war first hand but we learn about it and we always remember the sacrifices of UN soldiers and especially American soldiers who fought for freedom and helped my nation to grow as it is now. It is likely that without you and your fallen comrades, I wouldn't have even been born or lived under communist dictatorship.

Thank you sir. I have no proper word to express my appreciation well enough.
As a South Korean, we have learned about devotions of war veterans from other countries who decided to help a poor and miserable country 70 years ago. We are consistently told this fact in school, news, movies, and TV shows, as well as from grandparents. Government and all citizens in this country are clearly aware that the prosperity of South Korea had basically started from your sacrifices. Yes, we know better than anyone else; if there was not your help, we were in the unified Korea that ruled by Kim family, and probably seeking a way to cross border, instead of typing comments in youtube.

So IF I am NOT a humble Vet, but commit the same offense, would I not get a break? How is that equal justice under the law. Laws must not be subjective, emotional decisions. Political views must also not factor into decisions. That is called chaos and anarchy ruled by the daily feelings and mood of a king. On the surface, giving breaks feels good- looks good on YTube. Helps this court get views but is it justice to the dozens of others who he did find guilty- who did the same things. Those cases exist but were never put on YTube. This is shameful- and I come from a family of vets so spare me nasty comments. Treat people fairly and equally under the law- period.

This was the first time I heard about Korean War, then checked Wikipedia, and learned this: "North Korea was supported by China and the Soviet Union while South Korea was supported by the United Nations, principally the United States." Happy to know that China and Russia were again on the wrong side of history, but the South Korea lived up to its principles to become the country it is today. I hope the same will happen in the Middle East despite Russia and China's continuous meddling.

    John 3:16-21
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

    Galatians 5:16-25
I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
