A small detail that always gets me during Abbachio's death:
During the scene, Bucciarati is still on "borrowed time". During the Secco fight, we see that a large gash across Bucciarati's entire neck causes little to no bleeding.
But seeing his lip bleeding during this scene, and thinking about how FUCKING HARD he would need to be biting down while attempting to keep himself from losing his cool for the sake of the mission. He had known Abbachio the longest out of the whole gang.
It's just a small thing that always gets my eyes watering during my rewatches
I guess, the one who found Naracia was the first one Buccarati found to make his gang. Right?

That always gets me too, there are times where you see Bucciarati get hurt but not bleed(obvious ones like his hand getting punctured by a rock but he barely feels anything, to smaller details like when he, Mista and Abbacchio are attacked by Squalo’s stand, blood sprays from Mista and Abbacchio’s cuts but not Bucciarati’s)
You can tell just how hard his death hit him
Also, Fugo was the first to join Bucciarati’s gang, then Narancia, Abbacchio, Mista, and finally Giorno

Caesar, Kakyoin and Shigechi were the most painful losses I couldn’t get over.
Caesar was so talented and passionate, but he let his impatience get ahead of him. I wish we saw more of his fights. Kakyoin was too noble and clever for his own good. He really was the heart of the group. Shigechi….I can’t.

Iggy was by far the best member. I loved that good little doggie. I'm glad he at least got to enjoy life a bit and be a bit of an annoying ass to the crusaders, just how a good doggie should.
Iggy was a funny dog, but he had to be a sacrifice by saving Polnareff.

To me, shigechis death was one of the saddest. Sure he was annoying and greedy, but he was kid. He was still maturing and learning about life. In the end, he was valiant. In the end, all he wanted to do was protect his mom and dad from a killer. And, as he died, he felt hopelessness and pain. As his soul went up,.it was torn and burnt into pieces, accompanied by his screams of anguish and pain. His parents are still waiting for their little boy to come home...

Shigechi's death was very sad... But could you imagine how powerful his stand could have been if he didn't get killed and if he completely developed it and used it so it's full potential!? Unlike Mista, The guy has 500+ of them... And in the scene where he first encountered Kira, he basically had him, his Harvests were all over Kira and killer queen... He just didn't kill him prob because he was a kid and never killed a person and he didn't want to... Colony type stands are so unique and rare and I hope we see one being used well... That bad company stand was beyond insane I loved it, it had soliders, bombs, traps, tanks, paradrop troops and even helicopter, basically an army... Sad to see it never got used as well... :(

Honestly, a lot of the deaths in JoJo are sad, but what's really heartbreaking is their friend's reactions, like everybody makes fun of Joseph when Ceasar dies, but damn that scream feels so guttural and emotional. Same with Narancia when Abbachio dies.
Nathaniel Searle Also, just remember Mista didn’t cry or anything when Abbacchio died, because Narancia was there. But then when Narancia died, he teared up a lot.

To be fair.. Giorno was the “healer” of the team. He thought that Giorno DID heal him, and he was wrong saying that he was dead already. Abbacchio was one of his good friends he’s been with for a long time, and seeing him die would get him in a state of disbelief.
I would have reacted the same if someone really important to me died like that. I would probably not stop until someone'd tell me to shut the fuck up or something

Caesars death was by far the one I cried at the most, the reactions from the others and the music in the background just made it even more sadder.
First time I ever cried over an anime was when I watched iggy and avdol go to heaven. I don’t know why but it just tore my heart out.
Polnareff lost his mother, his sister, his companions, lost connection with who were alive from SC, loses his eye and limbs, his body and then his stand.

Iggy's death is personally the saddest to me he had just gained the want to kill Dio and Pol's reaction just drove it home.
Abbacchio's is a very close second.
Shigechi was the saddest death of course, he was saying he would protect his mum and dad with a shaky voice. He goes to open the door and help his friends even though he knows he might die, his last action was giving the button to his friends to save them and his family. He was immature and childish throughout most of his life but he was the most kind hearted and noble character before dying. RIP shigechi 😢

Even when i was spoiled on narancia's death, that didn't stop my eyes from shedding a tear. Poor guy who just wanted to eat some pizza and come back alive with the gang. Narancia screaming during abbachio's death also got me on the verge of crying.

They needed to show more of what had happened before Shigechi died, like how when he was walking in the hallway, showing his true determination and will and strive to continue, to survive, to protect his loved ones. It ruins a lot of the emotion without the wind up to his eventual death.

The saddest part to me about Kakyoin’s death is that his parents had no idea the kind of dangerous journey he was on. A quest to save the world and he made the ultimate sacrifice. If not for his clue to the others while right at the edge of death, Dio probably would have won. So Kakyoin and his family never got a chance to truly say goodbye, and his parents likely will never know how truly monumental he was even in death.
When Shigechi said, ‘I’m going to protect my mama and papa’, it’s enough to make a grown man cry..
