I've listened to all the songs since 2014, and I keep going back to them, for one reason only; it's such a rare thing to experience such talent - and when u do - u never forget! When Dean sings the words come from his mouth, his heart and his eyes. He is a true artist cause he can bring you into his world and make you forget about everything and simply enjoy. You can't teach that to someone. That is part of who they are.

Rock never dies it transforms. Dean is an old soul in young body. I like almost all types of music if it is good. But as a Baby Boomer growing up with the birth of Rock and Roll, to me it is the very essence of music and how it was meant to sound like. Dean you took me back about 45 years......Thank you!

I had to return to watch this performance again. Absolutely gorgeous vocal. Dani said it perfectly. "Dean bruises so easily and dont ever lose it." Along with Aiden Grimshaw's Mad World on X Factor UK, Adam Lamberts Mad World on American Idol and Matt Corby's Blowers Daughter on Australian Idol, among the most beautiful reality shows songs that I have heard.

If this were the X Factor US, I'd be worried for Dean, because the US voting public are generally lunatics, and the judges weren't much better. They never had the high quality contestants Australia's version consistently has. Dean must win! Or maybe not...maybe 2nd would be better. He'd have FAR more control over his music. But I'd be happy either way. He is one in a billion!

When Dean first auditioned, I thought he was awesome but couldn't get 8 very his creepy stare and all - around unapproachable aura, but he's really come around. From this interview he seems more relaxed and approachable. His singing as always is stellar.
