I just want to say, how beautiful you really are.
I'm a white woman from 🇬🇧 and I hope you don't mind but my ex boyfriend put my locs in for me. I've done research about the Kenyan Mau Mau and because he is Rasta, I lived the lifestyle and did plenty of research about Leonard P. Howell and Marcus Garvey. Sadly, he left me and all i have left from him are my locs, which he spent hours putting in for me! I love watching you and your tips, I don't mess with mine and still live the natural lifestyle as much as possible. I'm 61 this year do it's not a fashion thing either. Keep posting, you're an inspiration... ❤❤

Thank you. It is not for me to mind how someone else chooses to wear their hair. People's hair, beliefs, food, lifestyle etc. is a very personal journey. Respect for each other is all that is required. Sensitivity to the history of struggle that Afro people with locs have endured is a plus. Mau Mau and Rastas at Pinnacle are very important cultural movements beyond enterntainment and have important symbolism to many diasporans. To be inspired by different aspects of each others' culture is a positive. Afro diasporans culture is so diverse and people of Afro ascent and descent are not a monolith. Endless cultural similarities as well as nuances. Enjoy your hair. 🌱
