You know this game feels like a book I would read in my childhood. The art really helps to kick in the imagination when I was young. This game was so satisfying, like I read a good book.
Tuyoyami Omg I cant believe someone else feels this way! As soon as I watched this, some serious Nostalgia kicked in for me. And the more I watched, the more I was brought back to my childhood! I had some extreme Déjà vu while watching this but I couldn’t put my finger on exactly why???? The Illustration of this game was so very familiar, comforting and satisfying. I found myself being so relaxed as I continued to watch this.
This games art style is awesome. The puzzles are clever and make you feel clever. It’s got a great soundtrack. Is both beautiful and creepy, but mostly charming. Had a blast. For sure recommend.
This is one of those games that didn't frustrate me, mostly because if you get stuck in a puzzle, all you have to do is sit back for a moment, watch what you have on screen, and think about it. The solution comes to you if you're patient.
@@Zilkenian_Davenport Tbf I'm pretty sure only a certain _type_ of light can harm/freeze the object creatures. This is evidenced by the ending of the game, where only the light emitted by the blue gem thing can defeat the Manticore; if it were so easy, the Creaks (what I'm calling the bird people) could've just slapped any old flashlight together and shined it on the Manticore, but no they needed special light to take it down. The same likely applies to the goat chairs, dog drawers and other artificial animals, only a unique sort of light - whatever is emitted from the lamps that the Creaks use - can switch them from living to object, not just any old flashlight.
seems like the indie games are really pushing the artistic boundaries while AAA games for the most part are still caught up on making things look photo-realistic.
@@newjack900I agree but photorealistic games are important too. Plus they want to appeal to mass market, and distinctive art style will always be polarising, no matter how good it is.
I just finished the game with the help of your video. Thank you so much. That ending made me tear up. But I know that he can visit the Bird People anytime he wants since he has entry to their world.
(1:13:37) The music for this part is from a version of the Chessmaster chess game. It matched perfectly with Creaks, due to its strategist and puzzle character. The game is included in the list of Apple Arcade. Best game of 2020, after Doom Eternal.
Soooo hard but fun! It took them litterly 10 YEARS TO MAKE THE GAME! That’s not all, how do you even remember EACH PUZZLE!?! I would need a memory card for computers in my brain to remember every puzzle, but this guy doesn’t!you are the best. Thank youuuuu🎉🎉❤❤❤😊😊
41:08 I love how that elderly Avian didn't freaked out that there is a human spying on him. He's like, "Yeah, you! Can you get that book for me?" And he also returned the favor. Pretty certain that they have a large problem to deal with than to be freaked out by a stranger.
Thank you! This helped a lot! Personally, I really enjoyed this game- a lot! ❤️ The art style gives me a Tim Burton vibes and hidden door in the wall reminds me of Coraline!
Just finished the game. I. _LOVED IT._ thank you for the help, I got stuck a few times and needed a lot of help with some of the interactive paintings and finding the secret room. Great game, 10/10 recommend.
That level at 43:00 broke me ngl. I knew I needed to try all possible combinations. Feels bad, my brain wasn't having it. Never played puzzle games tho, so there's work to do
Love the art style, atmosphere, sound design, music, and story. The puzzles are also very challenging and well-designed. Given the rather restrictive nature of the usually "single tile" puzzle screens, Creaks is lacking the cohesive world-design that made Machinarium so amazing. The long ladder climbs and elevator rides feel like glorified loading screens, making the world feel very disjointed between the puzzle sections.
It was a great game, a great experience. It was much easier than the other masterpiece, Machinarium, but sometimes I needed this guide. Thanks a lot to make this video. Cheers from Hungary 😃
Incredible game. Wonderful music for the soundtrack. I absolutely LOVE these types of games! The ending was a bit anticlimactic, but otherwise an amazing playthrough of a gorgeous, challenging, and very cool game. Thank you my friend!!
@RAVEN AK47 Little Nightmares is one of my favorites and super excited for newest version coming out in Feb 2021. Not familiar with A Ghost in the Tale though so I'll have to check that out. Thanks!
This video is exceptionally well done and formatted. I am reviewing the game at the moment and have bookmarked this in case I get stuck. Would you mind if I linked to your video on our website?
The whole game is just so beautifull. The storyline is amazing, and some moments made me really cry. I love the ending, when the [spoiler alert] cat/monster is defeated, celebration, leaving home and finally the end with the credits. Idk how abouth you but when you can see the mc just chilling after such long time, makes me really emocional. Anyways I love everything abouth the game. Amanita made really great job again. 🥺💝💖💝💓💓💕💓💕💓💝💖💝💝💖💝💝💖💕💓💕💝💓💝💓💕💓💕💓💝💓
Spoilers! ... That dance ending with all of the creatures made me happy. It seemed like they were just doing their jobs, and I'm glad they got a happy ending too.
I think this game was beautiful. The story and gameplay was good. After finishing this game I only needed 1 painting. I cheated only this time because I wanted all achievements from this game and I succeed. I recommend this game to everybody who likes a challenging puzzle game.
Game is great art is great music is cool, only thing that sticks out and i would change is the death scenes that pop up when you get caught by the bad guys.
Well, huge thanks for you! I got stuck in the Egypitian room thing and spent hours trying to find the solution. It was so simple, aaaaargh. Again, thanks!!

Me watching him finally find the book and the bird knocking it down and thinking achievement of the stalactites is the last level so I’m like I made it this far so it’s ok to cheat on the last level. 🤷🏼♀️I’m sure someone has a walkthrough on UA-cam. Just to find out I’m not even halfway through the game😭😭😭. Something tells me I’ll be revisiting this walkthrough again shortly. 🤦🏼♀️🤣🤣

Almost complete it in one day and I haven't cheat/looking on how to pass some level. Well, untill I got stuck in 1:57:25. Won't give myself some spoiler tho (well ofc except for the part where I got stuck). The game itself is really fun and the puzzle are hella amazing. Then again this game was made by Amanita Design, and they always did great job in each of their games. The creative puzzle, the awesome world and art design, the sound design, everything from them are great. If you guys only play Machinarium or Samorost, then you guys are missing a lot of stuff.
Anybody else noticed this hidden dog trapped in the wheel at 1:27:13? It's strange I can't find any way to get to him, and it would be weird that it's there just like that when every other hidden space can be observed. Anyone has any clue? Is it really just an environment, showing you that there will be more dogs trapped in the wheel that can actually do something for you?
My fav game, forever! No one can convince me otherwise (btw thank you) when I beat Creaks I was amazed…so happy for me the ending was kinda sad when the main character left, but I was very happy that for once in my life I beat something! 😂😭🤣 thank you!
So I'm thinking bird lady created the giant cat thing, only whatever force she used to animate it went out of control, made it turn aggressive, and also animated some of the furniture and stuff.
Honestly, it's not boring if so many people love it. It has a very plain storyline but the fact that they managed to put in so much without using any text is amazing imo. The soundtracks are beautiful too. The puzzles are not too repetitive but I see why a modern person would see it as monotonous. I honestly watched the whole 2 hour gameplay without stop and enjoyed every bit of it.

This is a great game, enjoying it so far! Their creativity is underrated! and THX FOR THE WALKTHROUGH~~
This is the first time I've ever seen this game, & yet I distinctly remember having a dream of this specific game play...strange.
