I have had the privilege of working with Dr. Clausen before and what he’s chosen to do to the ending of this song is incredible. I sang at an honor choir festival at Concordia and the ending of this song sung by a 400 voice choir was truly amazing.
Wish I had video of us singing this during my high school days back in the early 90s (BHS). This choir sounds awesome singing this, but my high school choir was great singing Witness lol!
Excellent job!!! I love how the conductor stays on the 4/4 pattern where some conductors do it in cut time. This brings so much clarity on the words and a lot more control on everything else. I am really impressed!
other pieces try to do the whistle note and do it wrong, but I really liked where it was placed and it was built up to that note and not just out of nowhere
@@chrishewittpiano yeah, the normal final chord is far too basic to me. After this awesome bluesy gospel song, just ending it on a Picardy third? Lame. I like the extra note added to the chord at the end

Lovely singing, controlled and in tune...wonderful.. What direction. Bravo!

Yeah, but who is that Fabio looking guy in the third row?

And not to mention the girls! ;-)

Amazing!!! Thank you for sharing.
Masterpiece.
Was not expecting that ending
I sang in Jack Halloran's choir and I sang Witness many times. That faint rumble you hear on the last chord is Jack rolling over in his grave.
Amazing!!
Love it
omg, the ending 😱 😮
Great
Oh, what an ending!
I don't get the crazy ending, but great job
ShangoJamal yes it seems one or more, off key.
It's not that crazy, lol, it's just a few added notes but alright, "crazy ending".
