BIG CHASE OF CANADIAN NATIONAL L570 AT 3 LOCATIONS! MULTIPLE DRONE VIEWS AND DIAMOND CROSSING!

- 05/11/2024 Iowa Falls, Ia. Here the CN L570 is seen crossing the Iowa River bridge. The water is churning pretty good with the recent high water! The drone also shows the L570 hitting the diamond at Mills tower as it crosses the UP. Just West of Ackley, Ia. I caught up to the L570 again just in time to catch it finishing up some work at what looked to be a fuel storage facility. Finally in Parkersburg, Ia. I caught the train up to speed as it crossed an old wooden bridge!
Hello Red. Your Railfan Drone coverage is on a much different level than any other Channel on UA-cam. Please keep up the Strong 💪 Efforts. 👍🙏
Thanks Ken! It's been a great hobby👍
I really like the frogs singing, too. 😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Me too
Great BNSF mixed freight train and a Iowa River in Iowa falls and ackley Iowa red cool new video today 😀😀😀👍
Thanks Diego!
I appreciate the look at the bridges too, Red! I love seeing bridges but hate to drive over long or exccessively high ones. That's one of my phobias. 😊😊😊❤❤❤
I thoroughly enjoyed this video, Red! It was a good train and new scenery. It was simple but very interesting. I really appreciate the format of this one. Thank you very much, Red. 😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
That was a good mixed freight, Red! A really nice assortment of cars on it. Thank you, Red. 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
You're welcome Gary!

I didn't notice until they were going over the little wooden bridge, but one of the tank cars was 3 compartment. I've never seen one of them in person. I've seen many multiple compartment trucks but I think those rail cars are pretty rare. Thank you! 😊😊😊❤❤❤
The chrome tank on the lead locomotive look really good Red! 👍 😊😊😊❤❤❤
Saw A Double Oil Train Yesterday With 6 Locomotives
Another great video Red, man you stay safe out there and watch your back and I hope you have a great memorial day weekend and we’ll see you on the next one
Thanks Timmy! Have a good one👍
Train chasing by Harley Davidson, pretty cool. More great drone shots too.
My favorite train intercept vehicle👍
Very good drone-work, Red. Keep-up your excellent railfanning.
Thanks Phil!
Hi Red, loved your opening footage of the train passing the brilliant white grain store against the bright blue sky, awesome. Railroad diamonds too what a treat! Beautiful dtone footage as per usual Red loved it all thank you until the next one. ❤😊👍
Hey Carol, you're welcome! Good chase on the motorcycle👍
Another Great video Red. The Drone views of the Iowa country sides are Awesome what a beautiful country We live in. I'm over here in West Virginia and we don't have much flat land over here rolling hills into mountains. Don't get me wrong I love WV but Living here all my live 54 years you tend to get bored of the hills/mountains. I'm gonna make it out your way sometime this year. Just to see the beautiful Iowa countryside. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there especially on the roads. Happy Memorial Day. And God Bless America.
Thanks Rob! Iowa sure has a variety to see. I think Northeast Iowa is the most beautiful. The Mississippi River helps make the scenery. I'll bet the trains battle a lot of grades there in WV! Have a great weekend👍
Have A Good Memorial Day Reds Iowa Train Videos
You too Johnnie!
Sunday!
WOW!, cool chase on the bike! Under the right conditions, some of those drone views make the real deal look like a really well detailed model railroad! My son in law says that CN intends to keep those 54XX series engines for as long as possible, theyre pretty much the "Jack Of All Trades" engines!
Great day for a chase Paul! Saves a little bit on gas too👍
@@redsiowatrainvideos6645 Yep!, even Harleys get better gas mileage than cars, (except Tesla🤣🤣, and theyre a joke to me), there was a CNW green grain hopper, still with CNW reporting info, on a train at Kearney Nebraska on VRF a couple days ago! It was the first car behind 5 UP engines, and the middle one was the Rio Grande heritage unit.
Great video thanks for sharing happy memories days stays safe 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸
You're welcome Jack!
Hello Red, an interesting BNSF freight train and a signal box with an old semafore signal. The power plant with a weir on the river and this large railway bridge are great, they look particularly good with the green landscape. The video and the recordings with your drone are fantastic.🎥👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤ Thank you very much and best regards from Germany. wolfgang
Yo Wolfgang, you're welcome! That was a great afternoon chase on the motorcycle. We have plenty of water around here now👍
I like when you went over with drone to see the special platform cars you could see another crossing installed laying on the ground near the bushes.
Good eyes, I didn't notice that👍
You sure do have good range with your drone 😉
Just bought a new controller that helped with the range👍
Hello Red nice cn Horn salute at the station curve 👍🏻 great video 👍🏻😎 Robin out
Hey Robin, thanks!
Great views on a sunny day. You are the first to get that unique shot at Macy (the industrial). Maybe that bridge will be a project in the next few years?
Thanks fallingup90! Yeah that bridge was flexing pretty good. They have a lot of wooden bridges around still👍
Very nice. Thanks toronto canada.
You're welcome Randomstuff! Hello from Iowa👍
Nice catches!
71-82 and 82-71. Interesting.
Your videos are nice because of the great scenery. I haven't seen that in other videos, especially with the drone views.
you are setting in Macy, IA and I believe that tank site is an NH3storage and distribution site
Thanks Gary! I didn't realize that was a township.
This is a nice chase of Canadian National train #570, Red! I enjoyed watching the train as it traveled from the Iowa River bridge east to Parkersburg, Iowa. The train passing Mills Tower and crossing the Union Pacific (former CNW nee CRI&P) Spine Line was great drone footage. The Iowa River was churning within its bank downstream from the Iowa Falls Dam. I have a question about the reporting marks on those three flat cars in the consist. After the three flat cars went across that wooden bridge near Parkersburg, you mentioned that the reporting marks on the flat cars were BSR. When I did a Google search on those reporting marks, I could not find a reference to those reporting marks. I found a BSRX reporting marks for the Branson Scenic Railway. That was the closest reporting mark to the BSR reporting marks that you mentioned. Those flats cars appear to be some sort of heavy duty flat cars.
Thanks Thomas! That was a fun chase on the Harley. I believe BSR is Big Spring Rail out of Big Spring Texas. They are a short interchange railroad. Looks like headquarters is somewhere in Pennsylvania.
@@redsiowatrainvideos6645 Big Spring Rail System Inc. is headquartered in Big Spring, Texas. According to information that Union Pacific has on its rail partners, Big Spring Rail System, Inc. operates 3.3 miles of track owned by the City of Big Spring, Texas. There are oil and gas wells in the Big Springs, Texas area. That could account for the need of heavy-duty flat cars to transport drilling equipment. The Pennsylvania reference that you mentioned as the location of the railroad's headquarters refers to an abandoned railroad tunnel at Big Springs State Park in Pennsylvania. Big Spring State Park is located northeast of Doylesburg, Pennsylvania. There are no major cities or towns nearby that would be familiar to anyone reading this comment. In looking at a Google Map that shows the location of the State Park, if you go south of the State Park as the crow flies for less than 10 miles, you will arrive at one of the tunnels on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Here is a link to the Google Map that I found: www.google.com/maps/place/Big+Spring+State+Park/@40.1786307,-77.5627733,72103m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m6!3m5!1s0x89c9698698079281:0xab38bd7c6a0b5298!8m2!3d40.2631365!4d-77.6589895!16s%2Fm%2F026f_lx?entry=ttu
🚂😎👍🚂
wondering what drone you have. You can fly so far from your location. Mine can only get about 2 10ths of a mile. Seems like you go at least 3/4mi.. Love your vids and your comments..!!
Thanks ArchMan! I use a dji air2s and dji rc pro controller.
