DailyTekk Try the comply sport pro premium memory foam tips. Amazon. Previous beats gave me the same fatigue. With these, its no longer the case. Will change your whole experience. Thank me later!
@DailyTeKK You might want to try foam ear tips that are commonly used with IEM(in-ear monitors), like dekoni, comply foam tips. I like the RIYO foam tips on Amazon. All the foam tips offer near ANC level of noise cancelling. And they are more comfortable. Spinfit has comfortable “bendable” silicone ear tips.
Hey I have some android questions if you would be willing to answer them... 1. Do the beats allow you to say "Hey Google" and connect on android 2. Can you play and pause by removing an earbud on android 3. Will the power beats automatically connect when opening the case on android 4. Is it overall worth the price increase, or should I go with something like the Jabra Elite Active 65t
I'm going for the Powerbeaats Pro. Not concerned with the huge case because with 9-hour battery life I can leave the case at home, office, or car. Great video!
People complain about ambient sound but coming from soneone who used previous powerbeats models for cycling and jogging, it's a plus that I can still hear oncoming traffic and horns
I tried both the Powerbeats Pro’s and AirPod Pro’s for a couple weeks. I decided I like the Powerbeats Pro’s better. I love the buttons on the earpieces, especially volume control. The AirPod Pro’s kept popping out of my ears. The Powerbeats Pro’s are comfortable for me.
Perfect for me I’m an iphone user that hates apple headphones! I would have never bought AirPods because even the wired ones irritate my ears. Thinking about buying these though
I must be the only person who doesnt use voice assistants because they are useless unless you dont know how to spell and I dont drive to much so that argument is gone
Great review 10/10. I’ve already watched about 10 of these but I got info here and perspective that everyone else passes over; ie, the immediate pairing across the Apple platform, and FAQ answers at the end, etc.
I know this ache that you mentioned. I have this exact same thing with earphones that have the hooks that go behind the ears. It almost feels like the earphones were trying to pinch my ears all this time but all that pain shows up together in the end when I take them off. Great review though. Thanks! Keep making awesome videos. 👍🏼😊
Nice review DailyTekk and fair criticisms. The included eartips with the Powerbeats Pro did not fit me well either. Then I had an idea. I pulled the eartips off my older BeatsX and installed them on my Powerbeats. The eartips with the BeatsX are a little softer. Guess what? BAM! The Powerbeats slid right into my earholes and the fit is near perfect. I can't stress this enough. Finding the right eartips is essential to the best fit. For me, the large size works, but the softer tips work SO much better. By the way, the Powerbeats Pro sound is excellent. Rodrigo y Gabriela "Mettavolution" is just blowing me away right now.
Thanks for the review Chris. What do you find uncomfortable on the beats? Is it the buds that go inside the ear or the bar that fits around the outside of the ear. Thanks!
Returning these after two weeks of use. I am really an active guy, working out/playing sports/etc., but I also work professionally and the convenience of Airpods far outweigh the overall features of PowerBeats Pro imo.
Thanks for the honest review, i feel the same way when i got them, everything you said about it not actually fitting me so well and it kind of hurts when i take them out, all the same... so your not in the minority... i think more people will have the same experience.
Great video! Really appreciate your efforts especially the last part of the video comparing with the airpods. I am using Powerbeats 3 since a year. Had some sound issues in my Powerbeats 3, luckily had few days left for the warranty, so i ran to the service provider for the replacement. I was planning to buy airpods 2, watched your review of airpods 2 which helped me a lot. I was worried whether it would fit into my ears as i was habitual with the ear hooks and got more clarity after seeing your video. Finally today i bought AirPods 2 without wireless case (didn’t want to put extra 50$ on the wireless case), fits well into my ears. Also few minutes back i got an email from the apple for the replacement of new Powerbeats 3. 😊
AirPods fit my ears perfectly, but the Powerbeats and the jaybird X3 felt awkward in my ear. Like the in ear parts didn’t fit properly. I agree with you about taking off the beats and they hurt after taking them out. I had the same issue with the Jaybird X3
I am ecstatically delighted and disproportionately flabbergasted with enormous gratification and appreciation for the dispensation of such a tendering and mesmerizing information in which the prestidigitation of the concurrent and subsequent matter is thoroughly demonstrated through the innuances alluding to literal and metaphorical context. It is highly imperative to note that, such is the significance of the aforementioned, distortion in any shape or form will result in catastrophic ramifications to which will be the outcome of epic proportions. I thank you for your unequivocal.
It seems like your ear fatigue has more to do with the hook than the actual fit of the ear. When most people say it fits well they are usually talking about how it stays in their ear hole. Unless I’m misunderstanding you 🤷🏽♂️. I am going to get them eventually and am hoping that isn’t a problem for me because I usually have the same ear fatigue problem with most headphones..
One thing I don’t like about Powerbeats Pro is that there is no dedicated power on/off button. I love everything about these except that. You are pretty much draining your battery even if you cut off blue tooth from your phone. Great sound, great fit, and awesome for the gym.
Another GREAT review!! Airpods fit in my ears much better than most ppl. I'll definitely get these for my wife since those tips fit her ears better. Now what bag is that you're using!? Looks 🔥😎
Mike Weiland my BeatsX broke on me after like 5 months (one side stopped working, inconsistent connections) and here I am watching reviews on these. The BeatsX sounded great when they worked for me.
I have the BeatsX as well. Just picked up the Powerbeats Pro. Sound is VERY comparable, but I give the slight edge to the Powerbeats Pro. Finding the right ear tips for you is absolutely essential to the best possible sound.
You have to rotate them in a circular motion once in your ear to find the sweet spot that doesnt put pressure on your ear canal and cause discomfort. The powerbeats 3 fit way better for me.
Got my Powerbeats Pro today and line don't fit well either. Feels like they are not sealing at all. I've tried all the bud styles too. When I wear them the have far less bass than the Airpods which really makes me think it's definitely a poor sealing issue for me. Shame.
Just consider how dirty they’ll get over time. Cause I have friends who own Powerbeats3 in white, and they’re way more dirty than when they first bought them
Sounds like they havr some bass but not like a usual pair of power beats. For bass lovers there's probably better options out there. Comply makes a pair of bass centered tips that take any compatible earbuds to the next level.
I had a problem with the powerbeats 3 fitting my ears. No matter which tip I used just didn’t work so I used my tips from powerbeats 2 and instant comfort could wear them for hours with no fatigue
Well this video solidified my decision to get these headphones as a nice complement to my AirPods and PowerBeats 3. Just wish more colors were released and not just black
Zeron' I have had my pros for a week and they won’t give me a good seal in my ears. I am using my old foam tips that are bigger than the ones that came with these. I am going to try the new AirPods pro. It drives me crazy I can’t push them in far enough to get them to seal.
M Price I had the jabras and had the same problem. My right side went quiet and so I had to return them. They did sound really good. These sound good as well but I can’t get a good seal with these.
I don't get the love for physical buttons. I never reach up to my earbugs for anything. I always control everything from the source like my phone or computer.
First time watching and UA-cam picked the right video to recommend because I'm immediately subbing for the simple fact that you love tech and Andy Mineo Lol 1-1-Six
Man, I've had a pair of wired skull candy headphones now for about 5 years. They are comfortable, sound great, and have never needed to be recharged. Plus, I got them for about $20. Maybe I don't know what I'm missing in these super expensive headphones. Honestly, I don't want to know!
I’m part of the minority as well. My right ear would hurt whenever I wear them. Also I couldn’t get a good seal no matter which tips I used and I even got a Comply to see if it’s gonna get better because I really wanted to make it work. Since I couldn’t get a good seal, the volume was low, sounded tinny and barely any bass. I’m disappointed because most reviews were raving about it. I also like the battery life and the physical controls. Unfortunately, I had to return them. *edit: I liked the video so I liked and subscribed.
How are air pods or the Powerbeats pro with video audio?? I had jaybird runs and the the audio didn’t sync with the video so I went back to Powerbeats 3.
Had a problem with UA-cam but I restarted the app and everything was seamless, I pair them to my Apple TV when I’m trying to keep the noise down, they work flawlessly.
I expect these fit the same as the Powerbeats 3, which means I won't get them. Honestly, I've been less than impressed with every wireless IEM I've tried, so I think my next IEM purchase will be wired.
Great review. With regard to the fit, if it hurts when removing them you likely need to use a smaller ear tip. Give that a shot and see if they fit better.
In my case the smaller tip is certainly more comfortable, but the seal is not good and you lose all the bass and mids. Beat each person's ears are different and you have to experiment.
My ears are small like too small for air pods, like if my ears were a tiny bit bigger air pods would probably fit. I literally can't wear any earbuds and it's terrible. Would these fit my small ears?
It hurts when you take it out your ear because the plastic tip you are using is slightly too big which is why it feels okay when its in, but its stretching your cartilage which you feel when you take it out. Go one size down and should feel fine.
Your experience with these beats taking them out and putting them in was my experience with the AirPods 2. It only went down hill from there. I had to return my AirPods 2 because they where causing blisters in my ears. Other then that - I absolutely loved them. I wish they did fit my ears. Can’t wait to try these Beats Pro
Christopher Polgar wish I would've returned them instead of keeping them. The left pod causes extreme pain when taking it out. I also had a blister that bled and I stop using them daily. The airpods 2 were my first and hated that after I purchased them the powerbeats were announced.
I get that “taking them out of my ear” pain with AirPods. I’m hoping the beats wills fit better. Airpods fall out of my ear a lot with facial movements also. We’ll see Saturday.
weirdly me left ear only hurts like a lot so idk what im supposed to do. i really enjoy these and dont want to return em but its been 3 days now and they still hurt.
If AirPods don't fit, those will not fit (great) either. Cause the big bulky thing the In-Ear-canal stems from, has the same shape as the AirPods. And if that doesn't fit with AirPods, it still doesn't with Powerbeats. You just have the hook to hold it - which is a sad compromise. I dislike that. Will try to use them for a bit and will try them in a plane - but... I guess I'll sell them and try the Sony WF-1000XM3 - cause ANC and stuff.
Mine are the same issue the biggest tips lock in the best and that’s when I get the best sound but they don’t stay locked in as I work out 🏋️♀️ and if I use any of the other tips then I lose sound smh
I hated the way that my Powerbeats 3 fit into my ears. I wear glasses. So the glasses arm with the Powerbeats hook was just too much. I gave them to my Dad and bought some AirPods.
The case size is really important for me bc i am always carrying them with me in my pocket... and wireless charging would also be nice. So i am waiting for the 3rd gen airpods.
There’s too many pluses to not wanna get one of these. AirPods are portable and great for it but the UI is horrible and double tapping is so inconsistent. These are definitely worth the price over airpods
Just like you said, you’ve only had them for a short period of time. I’m sure you will get used to the fit and it will be comfortable then. Just my two cents
Lance Nunez I’ve had mine for a week and wear them for over 10 hours a day. I can’t get a good seal with even my comply eat tips. They don’t go into my ears and it sucks. I’m going to try the AirPods pro.

I'm going for the Powerbeaats Pro. Not concerned with the huge case because with 9-hour battery life I can leave the case at home, office, or car. Great video!
Also they fit fine in pockets. Unless you're wearing skinny jeans to the gym
bought a pair last week and they're phenomenal
Glad I went with them. The case really isn't that big and with the battery life, you really don't need it 24/7!
People complain about ambient sound but coming from soneone who used previous powerbeats models for cycling and jogging, it's a plus that I can still hear oncoming traffic and horns
Powerbeats are not only for workout, they are also for everyday use
rich people need different things for each activity
Ambient noise is important in my opinion, when running outside you want to hear cars etc.
I tried both the Powerbeats Pro’s and AirPod Pro’s for a couple weeks. I decided I like the Powerbeats Pro’s better. I love the buttons on the earpieces, especially volume control. The AirPod Pro’s kept popping out of my ears. The Powerbeats Pro’s are comfortable for me.

but beats are apple...
Get comply foam tips makes them way more comfortable to wear

easily the best review so far ... i watched 10 plus and they did not explain the sound as well as you and thats what i needed to know !!!

These look so awesome, still salty airpods don't fit my ears tho.

You're not missing much (:
They dont sound good. Who cares.
bundu bashing same here man
Can you use them while wearing glasses though ?
Yes
Une Perceuse Yes.
Other reviewers who wear glasses have confirmed that it works well with both glasses and sunglasses
Doesn't work well for me. But I have really thick stems on my RayBans.
Une Perceuse lil different at first
my powerbeats 3 dont fit my ears either and i couldnt find anyone else that had that same problem until you
One of the best reviews I’ve seen on these, and I’ve really watched a lot 😀.
Returning these after two weeks of use. I am really an active guy, working out/playing sports/etc., but I also work professionally and the convenience of Airpods far outweigh the overall features of PowerBeats Pro imo.
FYI, call quality is ok and sound quality is not much different from Airpods. No reason to drop $250 just for little block of sound and the hook.
Thanks for the honest review, i feel the same way when i got them, everything you said about it not actually fitting me so well and it kind of hurts when i take them out, all the same... so your not in the minority... i think more people will have the same experience.

Given Powerbeats 3 are only $99 right now, would you recommend getting those instead if I’m looking for something just to use for working out?
AirPods fit my ears perfectly, but the Powerbeats and the jaybird X3 felt awkward in my ear. Like the in ear parts didn’t fit properly. I agree with you about taking off the beats and they hurt after taking them out. I had the same issue with the Jaybird X3
same I had powerbeats 3
have you tried foam tips?

JC mine won’t go far enough in to fit my ear hole. It drives me crazy cause they are very close to fitting
I had the same issue with the fit of the urbeats so now i started to use airpods now and they fit perfectly in my ears
When I had my iPhone I was watching a beats video and the guy said "hey Siri" and my Siri activated 😂
On your recommendations what if your curious about wireless charging, but not sure if it matters to you...
One of the few people I’ve seen in public with the everyday camera bag, respect
Dope videos man keep it up 💯💯
For Android devices, when you remove the powerbeats does it still pause the track? Also just subbed, great vid!
A 900 I wonder the same thing too.
@@jedwardoo doubt it, seems like an apple H1 chip integration thing
Yes it does.
Have you noticed if you pull them out during a song and put them back in when the music unpauses the volume is reset to "middle volume"?
One thing I don’t like about Powerbeats Pro is that there is no dedicated power on/off button. I love everything about these except that. You are pretty much draining your battery even if you cut off blue tooth from your phone. Great sound, great fit, and awesome for the gym.
In your walking video, you needed to play “Stayin’ Alive” and carry a gallon of paint
Another GREAT review!! Airpods fit in my ears much better than most ppl. I'll definitely get these for my wife since those tips fit her ears better. Now what bag is that you're using!? Looks 🔥😎
Also, black lightning cable is available on BeatsX. I have one but it’s 0.5m and I use type-c so I gave it to my sister for charging her iphone
No, you’re not in the minority. Apple EarPods fit me perfectly. Most earbuds with rubber tips are really uncomfortable for me.
I have the same experience.
Something Nothing me too
That doesn’t make him not in the minority... that just means you’re ALSO in the minority.
It’s the same for me that’s why I’ve always loved airpods and EarPods bc they r the only things that actually fit my ears
Is your issue with them that one side hurts or both? Cuz one of my ears hurts when I wear them to long
Hey Chris does the powerbeats pro also show up on find my iPhone like the AirPods?
Random Guy-_- yes. Identical.
Random Guy-_- yes they do
Cool thx
How do they sounds v. BeatsX?
Mike Weiland my BeatsX broke on me after like 5 months (one side stopped working, inconsistent connections) and here I am watching reviews on these. The BeatsX sounded great when they worked for me.

they sound the same... I have the BeatsX for the last 2 years, after that one side stopped working.
would expect noise cancelling like the Sonys for that size and price
You have to rotate them in a circular motion once in your ear to find the sweet spot that doesnt put pressure on your ear canal and cause discomfort. The powerbeats 3 fit way better for me.
Got my Powerbeats Pro today and line don't fit well either. Feels like they are not sealing at all. I've tried all the bud styles too. When I wear them the have far less bass than the Airpods which really makes me think it's definitely a poor sealing issue for me. Shame.
Mine don't seal either. I get decent bass but too much outside noise comes in. They are going back.
As soon as I can......the Navy pair. But that Cream pair’s calling my name....
Just consider how dirty they’ll get over time.
Cause I have friends who own Powerbeats3 in white, and they’re way more dirty than when they first bought them
@@Sulas04 I'm getting the navy color what u think ?

Hey Adam! Thanks for watching! I did actually try the smallest (and all the sizes actually) and unfortunately didn’t make much of a difference...
The buttons on the same side is cool because if you and your friend have one each so you both have controls
I get that “taking them out of my ear” pain with AirPods. I’m hoping the beats wills fit better. Airpods fall out of my ear a lot with facial movements also. We’ll see Saturday.
EOZ air budget killer for both AirPods and beats. The Eoz air hooks or thinner and can adjust to your ear.
You can totally send me a pair and I will let you know if I have the same issue with the fit. I barely had AirPods fit me
Replace “Hey Siri” with “Yo Siri” or “Hey Cindy”. 🤓
When my AirPod 1s break, I’ll consider Powerbeats Pros. $250
Is a lot for headphones
weirdly me left ear only hurts like a lot so idk what im supposed to do. i really enjoy these and dont want to return em but its been 3 days now and they still hurt.
Glaring omission! Sunglass wearing (or prescription glasses) and the fit... I went with a different brand because of the ear hook design.
what brand?
These are the only wireless earbugs that have earhooks. If you use these for super active workouts they're the only decent option.
What about audio latency when watching youtube or movies on iphone with beats Pro?
If AirPods don't fit, those will not fit (great) either. Cause the big bulky thing the In-Ear-canal stems from, has the same shape as the AirPods. And if that doesn't fit with AirPods, it still doesn't with Powerbeats. You just have the hook to hold it - which is a sad compromise. I dislike that. Will try to use them for a bit and will try them in a plane - but... I guess I'll sell them and try the Sony WF-1000XM3 - cause ANC and stuff.
Can I have yours if they don't fit right? 😅😅😅
When will they go on sale
Air pods don’t fit my ear at all so I’m going to give these a shot
marcy419 getting mine tomz I need new wireless headphones
Better audio, better fit, same convenience, sounds like a superior alternative to AirPods to me.
There’s too many pluses to not wanna get one of these. AirPods are portable and great for it but the UI is horrible and double tapping is so inconsistent. These are definitely worth the price over airpods
I will definitely try the beats pro
I prefer AirPods solely for the convenience and the comfort while wearing in the gym. Beats obviously sound better tho
I’m at the gym all the time, I’m getting these for sure
hmmm maybe if comply tips were compatible, it could change the game for you.
Ear fatigue is the reason companies abandoned wrap arounds to begin with.
