Love you sis! It's pronounced the "do" 😊😊😊 I love when you do the section videos so we can literally compare each one to the next. Definitely is going to be useful in my next twist out!
@@EishaTayloreI think it has. I last bought it in April 2022 and recently bought it again Oct 2023. First thing I noticed is that the texture is different. It used to look like whipped cream, but now it's more like frosting. The colour has changed, it used to like dark beige, but now it's more beige. In the ingredients, I noticed that Aloe Vera is now third in the list of ingredients; it was a lot lower down before. Aloe makes my hair dry, so.............
I thought that I got a bad batch of the Almond Jai and after your post I realize the formula is different than other containers I’ve purchased. The batch that I have now seems super thin and almost watery 🥴 Gotta love Targets return policy because I received a refund and was told to keep the item🤷🏽♀️
I’m telling you, the almond jai twisting butter used to be my favorite. I would use that alone and it would work for me, no matter the climate I was in or style I chose. Just letting it air dry or a braid-out. I’m still sad over it. I’ve repurchased it several times, but it doesn’t work for me anymore. It used to smell SO good and potent, once I noticed that scent vanish…is when the formula kept changing. 😢 My hair hasn’t been the same ever since lol.
Thank you for this video. I tried Camille Rosa twitted cream. It did not wk. It dried out my hair. So I ended up trying on my husbands hair. It did the same. I noticed we have the same type of hair plus I do not lk coconut oil and glycerin. A lot of products have those products in the first five ingredients. After video I just subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to your videos.
So far I haven’t really found a cream a like. I like custards. I have a video in my twist out playlist that’s called 5+ day twist out and those products are great
Yeah I am not a fan of camille rose products and for the price it just doesn't compare. I also like the as I am twisting cream and curl jelly but they aren't in my stash right now. I feel like you would enjoy Herbal Essence Mango and Aloe curl cream but its more of a cream gel to me. I only tried it on my dry hair and the definition and hold was there for me and its only $5.99. I decided to go ahead and pick up hair products in the store this black friday and my pockets are done lol. I only purchased from Genedor Beauty and Sarenzo Beauty. I also got that Soultanicals gift card I might use depending on their sale but I have so many products from them already I may wait til next black friday.
I'm interested in the as I am long & luxe lineup. If you have any thoughts or if you could do a product review that would be great. That line has new packaging and new formulation (like no glycerin) so I'm curious
Camille rose didn't work for me either. I would say I'm 4a/4b and maybe a sprinkle of 3c maybe. When I tried Camille rose it literally felt like I took some butter out of my fridge and put it in my hair. I felt nothing but oil and butter. I tried it with two of my really moisturizing products from tgin and it seems to do better when you have a leave in or hair milk that sinks into your hair then Camille locks in the moisture but I wouldn't repurchase it though. The as I am twisting butter is bomb nut I just hate the price point and it being an 8 ounce.
Agreed! I really thought Camille rose would be moisturizing for me. I wanted to love the products so bad! But it just reminds me that not every product works for me
As I Am has Holding Agents in the twist defining cream so, it's not in the league of the other butters and cream. For type 4 hair, Almond Jai is just a butter. The only product there that can give hold is the As I Am. I don't really know much about the doux

Thanks girl!!! And yes I also find these videos helpful because I want to see how they REALLY compare 😬
@@EishaTaylore YAAAAAS!
I am so glad I found this video. I used to love CR. Not a fan anymore. I do want to try the Crème of Nature one.
I wonder if CR changed ingredients?!

Thanks for the review!! I think as I am has amazing products overall!
I agree!!! I need to revisit their products honestly
Almond Jai used to be bae but CR can’t stop changing the formula. Hate to see it.
Ooo okay that’s what happening. Smh. 🤦🏾♀️

Oh damn!! And this is why I love to buy things from target or cvs so I can return!

I can definitely see the difference
Yeah it was surprising to me
What would you use if you swim 2 a week????

Thanks for subscribing! Welcome!! Our hair hates the same thing. You should definitely find my videos helpful with providing suggestions!
What twisting cream do you find works for your hair?

Right!! So surprised at Camille Rose… Herbal Essence mango cream 👀👀. Never seen that so now I gotta try it! Thank you!
Thank you for trying all four of those for us. This was so helpful!
I’m glad. Thanks for watching!!
Thank you! Your hair looks amazing 👏🏾
BTW did you see the conair curl collective where they have certain tools or accessories for certain curl types? 🤔 seem interesting
No I haven’t seen that! Let me go look

Nah it was obvious the light wasn't fooling me. Before you said anything I knew it was dry girl lol im disappointed too wasn't expecting that
