We just got the 2021 Hybrid Limited and I don't like the steering wheel at all... the stitching is rough on my hands and the pretty silver ring embedded in the wheel is metal and in cold weather, the rest of the wheel will warm up but that silver strip stays really cold!
I personally say great! We have both a stow and go Chrysler van, and a 2021 Chrysler Hybrid. The 2nd row seats in the 2021 are much more comfortable. Also the seats take less time to just remove in the 202q, than the seats in the stow and go take to fold. That storage space in out stow and go van is always completely empty besides food crumbs and old french fries.
Having driven a few of the Pacifica hybrids shifting the selector to L causes the regenerative braking level to increase., but doesn't change the gearing to a lower ratio.
So, in "L" mode it simply applies more aggressive regen braking, but you aren't gaining any additional actual regen vs just pressing the brake pedals harder on your own. I.e. going from 60mph to 0mph using L you get he same regen/power back as you would if you instead use "D' mode and just pressed harder on the brake pedal yourself. The bonus of "L" is it feels more like a one-pedal driving experience, closer to what you'd get with a manual transmission and downshifted to slow down. I rented one last week from enterprise while my vehicle was getting 2 recalls done. I got to say I loved it gas wise and android auto so much more. And while you brake it charges the batterySpecially coming to the red light, it will sound like it's NOT cranked but it's running off the battery while its waiting for the light to turn green, which I liked saves gas. Only thing I didn't like is, I'm 6'5 I kept hitting my head. And under android auto and if you hit the square on the bottom right, there are apps and also a few games you can play
Mine only has 6k miles on it, then I got the “service battery at dealer” message and it won’t start. I had it towed to the dealer, and they’ve had it for a week and can’t fix it - they said they don’t know what’s wrong? What are my options? I’m shocked - this is a 2021 50k+ vehicle with just 6k miles!! Even more frustrating - they don’t have a rental car available which is part of the warranty agreement! Someone please help!

I love how the chrome looks with that color, in fact I picked up some 1/2" chrome trim for the wheel wells and it looks really outstanding. Chrysler had some serious incentives that save a bundle plus next year I get the tax credit. I purchased a level 2 charger fr Amazon for about $600 and it takes about 2 hrs to get a full charge from zero. I figure the cost at about $1.40 for 13.3 KwH average. When I switch to Time of Use rates it should be more like $0.50. Currently I show about 450 miles on the trip odometer (total gas and electric) and still have about a 1/2 tank good for another 250 miles. As it said in the video, if you go on short trips (under 30 miles round trip) you won't use much gas, if any.
That's awesome - would you mind sharing the wheel well trim that you bought? I have been looking for some and yours sounds really cool. Mine is also the crystal granite as well :-)

It's a nice looking van. Nice features but it's a stellantis lmao no longterm reliability. Fiat/peugeot/chysler are not known to build quality electrical components and quality in general I think that's the problem with them. They make good looking cars and trucks with innovative features that people want them but they won't last and they know it and don't care cause most people don't keep there vehicles long anymore so they don't need to bake in reliability. It's profit margins. Most people that drive toyotas keep there cares 10 to 15 years. No gadgetry no nonsense vehicles but they hold up well over time and save people tons in the long run. Toyota knows this and know quality will prevail in the long-term. Turtle always beats the rabbit. That's why there number 1.
We shopped both but the $5000 rebate on the Chrysler along with a $7500 tax credit later made it so much less than the Toyota. Also so far all our trips have been pure EV as we can plug in and charge up the Chrysler before the next day. Our electricity rates are $.10 per kW so that means it only costs us $1.60 to go 35 miles.
On the 2nd row of seats (the captain seats). The top lever, does that cantilever the entire seat towards the driver? Or does it fold the seat to let you in the back? I'm asking mainly for baby seats. With a baby seat installed, will that top latch move the entire assembly forward with the baby seat in? I saw a video of a 2019 but it didn't allow you to do that. Did they fix this in the newer ones? (The Hybrid Limited, I know the regular Touring and Limited work that way but im not sure about the Hybrid models). We realize stow and go is gone, because of the batteries.

@@John-209 my charging schedule is off and Engine light is on, I need to take it back to the dealership again. I owned another phev honda clarity no issues with the same charger cable..
It comes with a level 1 charger that plugs into a wall outlet. It's okay for overnight charging because it takes about 12 hrs to get a full charge from zero.

Thanks for not using the word tonnes in the interior spaces. Torque isn't that bad but it's below 1000 ft. lbs. That word is highly stupid when it's used for inches when it really means a very heavy weight. I'm not go it to say what youtubers use like it means something cramped spaces but no vehicles has tonnes of any thing anywhere in the back seats.
can you still drive it on engine only if your below 20% and you 100 miles or so from home? plus no stow n go in it sense hybrid battery's are under the seat area !
There's no ability to select gas or electric. It's all controlled by computer. If it builds up enough charge from braking it will use the motors rather than the engine. It changes back and forth so smoothly that it's undetectable.
Really easy to pop out and they have better comfort than the stow and go version. You just have to plan ahead and take them out before your Home Depot run.

This hybrid does not add up. The math doesn't work. Its' too expensive and doesn't allow you to choose which power source you can use. A total waste of money.

You forgot to remind people that the Hybrid and Pinnacle Trims DO NOT get the second row Stow and Go Seats.

That rear storage is where the spare tire goes, not a vacuum. The vacuum goes in the area in front of the rear drivers side fender well.

If only it had same reliability as Toyota, but unfortunately that van is crap beyond 3 year warranty, while toyota will easily last 15-20 years.
