    My dad had one of these, but his was blue. He used it for a daily driver. I never thought it would be a classic, I must be getting old.

    The badging indicates that is a CST (Custom Sport Truck) which would have had a factory woodgrain finished panel with chrome letters. It would cover the letters stamped in the tailgate. For that matter, I can't recall ever seeing tailgate letters painted a contrasting color on a Blazer from the factory or otherwise. I have an original '72 K/5 CST that I've owned for over 33 years.

    Nice to see one with manual shift. I just can't own a truck with an automatic. The trans in this looks like the '72 F-250 Ranger I had. The 4WD in that was unreal with the granny 1st and a 390. It was also the newest vehicle I'd seen that still had a manual choke!

    I JUST DID A ENGINE SWAP ON MY 72 BLAZER CST 6.0 LQ9 345HP STOCK WITH THE 4L60E KEPT MY 205NP TRANSFER CASE. WITH 1 TON MILITARY AXLE WITH ORIGINAL DETROIT LOCKER AND 4.56'S I LOVED IT LIKE DRIVING A BRAND NEW TRUCK BUT IN 72 BLAZER GOIN 80 AT 2100 RPM
