Have you been on the water for an extended amount of time? I have & it's not practical to row back to shore to air it back up.

The mouthpiece at the bow of the boat is designed to be used while floating to top off any air loss over time.

I attached a length of tubing over the mouth valve to make it easier to inflate while on the water.
