I am a stay at home mom with a safety background, 8 1/2 years experience, I have a break of 9 years. So I also worked and very lucky to have worked in a very diverse work environment. From aviation to construction...any safety program I was lucky to be in. Now, I'm dead set on taking certification exams because of that break I'm thinking employers are focusing on and I want them to focus on the positive. So thank you for making this video. I loved my safety job and I'm so ready to do whatever it takes to get back in.

Thanks Brye. I worked with you a bit when I was at Freshpoint. I have since moved on, but came across your video as I am currently studying for my CSP. I have had my ASP for 5 years and it's time to get the CSP. Thanks for the info and hopefully it helps me to crush the exam.
Very encouraging and informative content. Thank you. I failed in my first ASP attempt, went with confidence and understood I needed to learn more to Pass, and doing it.
Dear sir , Could you please guide me for preparing csp and asp ,mandatory books and how to prepare for it ,concentrate on which type of study ,numerical or theoretical plz share your whatsapp 🙏
Great video! I can vouch that Bowen EHS courses and materials are an excellent resource. They helped me pass the ASP and will hopefully help me get through the CSP! 🤞✨
@@SafetyGeek thank you. I have recently discovered your podcasts and I am making my way through all of them!! Excellent content. Keep up the great work , you are helping so many people.
I went through your website to signup on free course, and the website is broken. Its giving me "404-Not found." Please help. I am interested. Thank you. I complete my Bachelor's in OSHA this Nov 2024 and I plan on taking the CSP Exam hopefully by Jan-Feb 2025 to mentally prep myself for it.
Very good information! Thank you so much. I currently work in healthcare trying to transition. Curious if working as a physical therapist assistant would count towards being in a safety profession. We teach body mechanics, ergonomics, infection control and other safety related skills. Do you know if I would have to wait 5 years to sit before the CSP? I do not want to stay in healthcare. I would prefer oil field, manufacturing, or construction.
Hi Leah with regards to your question, it’s 4 years plus a degree and previous certification. Here is the link to the eligibility requirements: www.bcsp.org/certified-safety-professional-csp/
In my experience you can take the study questions randomly which Bowen offers and at the end of the questions, there is an answer to it - so at the end of every study you get to learn new insights. And I practice them daily, by the way (make it a habit!). Hope this one helps!
Hi thanks for the video, i would like to ask you that the questions which you have practiced in the question bank and practice exams .. is the same came questions repeated in CSP exam ??
I can't remember exactly, but they were similar enough that they prepared me. Bowen EHS works closely with BCSP to make sure they are properly preparing students for the exam.
