I'd like what you're doing here, but I would simply add that as a blind user who uses a screen reader all of the things that you're talking about adding to the quick tasks are easily done with a single keyboard shortcut. Sometimes I think people using screen readers can use these Applications much quicker than the people who are tied to a mouse as non-intuitive as that might sound. Thanks again. I gave you a like.
Thank you for this. I really enjoy your teaching style, and often learn from the content of these videos - not too long, not too short; good overview of features, and a comprehensive idea of other features which you might not have talked in detail about in the video. One thing I would like so suggest, though, is to consistently mention several (not many) keyboard shortcuts which can be used across not only Microsoft products, but other Windows program/apps, and which - with a slightly different modus operandi - can be used in the Mac world. The keyboard shortcuts that I am thinking about are far easier and quicker to use/access than having to go to a mouse/keypad, move the cursor to a particular part of the screen to hover over a command, and then click to execute that command. I am thinking about Ctrl-S / Command S, Ctrl-A /Command A, Ctrl-C / Command C, and Ctrl-V, Ctrl-Z / Command Z (and maybe Ctrl-X / Command X). I habitually save (Ctrl-S) every few seconds when I am working in any kind of document, and it is a great way to make sure that data is saved efficiently and right after it is created.
I'm going through this playlist (the Powerpoint one--I previously watched many of your Excel videos) in preparation for an online assessment to work through an office temping company. Hitting "like" along the way.
I would like to thank you so much your videos are genuinely so helpful and knowledgeable I can keep myself watching and learning everyday new methods and techniques hats off
Love the simplicity of your teaching style on what could have been boring or too complex to follow. I’ve found myself searching out your video every time I need to use excel or word. Thanks
Great video with good info for increasing productivity. However, did not answer my question. When I save a file that I want to find in "quick access, " for sending, how can I default that so I don't have to go looking for it in my files.
I don't have any of those options on my tool bar and I can't find anything online for how to customize it because all the stupid tutorials tell me to find options for mac by looking for Excel App Preferences. I can't find the stupid preferences because THEN it tells me to go to the file and then help tab, but there IS NO help option under the file tab!!! I'm so frustrated!!!
Is it possible to move the icons to a different position? I have chosen 13 icons for the Quick Access Tool bar. I have "Save" on the left side of the Quick Access Toolbar and "Save as " on the right side of the Quick Access Tool bar. Can I move "Save As" to be beside of "Save"
I was not seeing it too then i clicked on (insert-then come to table righ click on it there will be an option of add to quick access toolbar ,so on e u add one option then you will see the sign on your screen
When I tap on Customize Quick Access icon -- The list drops down. When I tap on "More Commands" the list simply vanishes. When I go to "File" and click on OPtions, It too simply vanishes. What I am trying to do is simply add "Forms" to the Quick Access Tool Bar.
That time I'm starting to type my undergrad thesis that was due yesterday. It is at this moment that I realise that my documents in the past were a battlefield. Day of freedom today. 😂😂😂😂😂😧😧😧😧 shook, disappointed and somewhat embarrassed 🙈👐🏾👐🏾🙆🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🙆🏾♀️🙆🏾♀️
In the real world - where Office 365 - is the Enterprise Version - the Ribbon is probably managed by the IT Department. I get it - they can't spend every day bailing out the idiots that have mucked up their installs. But - its frustrating - that so many features are unavailable.
All i want to say is "Your teaching style is simply superb".

Unbelievable, the most useful and simplest tools tend to be right in plain sight. Great video, thanks for sharing! :)

@@playworld9983 appreciate that 👍
How do I customize just the normal toolbar?
I don't have any of those buttons on the top left-hand side of the screen to customize my toolbar. Is there a different type of word?
The video is using Word Desktop version. You may be using Word Web-Application.
