I would love to see Stellantis revive the Plymouth Hemi Cuda and this is a beautiful sexy car though it has a 1967- 1968 Pontiac Firebird styled front end appearance.
Ya it's more than one car. The first is a more 67-69 barracuda inspired front end. 2nd deffinetly looking like a pontiac As well as 3rd does have that gto look. 4th is the 1st car 5th is kinda early 70s Cuda like. 6th looking like a late 60s Cuda again. Just the dual headlights kinda throw it off. Kinda just looks like some one mixed chevy pontiac and Mopar late 60s early 70 cars together.
OK, I want one but it does kinda look like my beloved Trans-Am's. I own two, a 1998 and a black 2003 with the WS-6 pkg. I love muscle cars. If American auto makers want to survive they better start building cars people want to drive and that IS NOT these over priced, fire trap, electric cars that need a new battery ever five yrs at a cost that most will have to take a second mortgage out in their home.
The Hemi Cuda is a Barracuda with a Hemi engine. Usually these cars had manual transmissions.the original Hemi Cuda's were true beasts. That means the new one's have a lot to live up to. The originals were cars not for the faint of heart !!!
90% of the comments say it looks like a firebird and I agree, you guys didn't really think it would resemble a Cuda did ya, look at the Charger, anybody ever remember a 4 door Charger "exactly", so that's 2 muscle cars that don't look anything like there predecessor, thank God the Challenger still looks like a Challenger (somewhat).
I really don't understand what the developers where looking at cuz.they SURE weren't looking at the Plymouth there's nothing on the car like anything that resembles the Cuda ... but I am glad that they're bringing back these type of cars they're nice to look until everybody and their mama has one like the Challenger and the charger LOL now bring out the Trans Am Grand Prix the 66 SS Malibu model i also believe they screwed up the vet and looks more like a Ferrari than anything I believe they should have went back to Old School Stingray Style but yeah bring DEM muscles back ;-)
This is amazing! Chrysler, GM and Ford all making muscle cars again! My first car was a '68 Plymouth Barracuda convertible so it has a wonderful connection with my past. I'm only hoping for gas will drop in price and this car will be built solid and affordable.
Just beautiful,, please bring them back....Ford model A 1942,, the Dodge charger,,, and so many more.... And even electric """ then emissions won't have any part of it"""No emissions,no fumes,....
I'L L STILL TAKE Grandpas Muscle Car. The Younger Generation will AT LEAST have A real Choice instead of the boring junk being sold in 2024. The Car In This video does look like a Cross between A Firebird, and a Charger rear, with slightly styled Camaro Wheels. Either way the Aluminum Engine still WILL NOT, be able to Last As Long As The Cast Monsters of Yesteryear. HOWEVER the younger Generation at least has something to buy. HOW HARD Would it be to Bring back Slightly Modified Versions of the ROADRUNNER, the Chevelle SS, The Ford Cobra , Even The 1970 AMC Javelin Even a Late 60s Dodge Superbee. THEN WACH what Happens at the Dealers. The same for Many of the American Trucks so loved till this day..Just Saying..😏
They said V8 engines would be gone 45 yrs ago, didn't happen most of them got smaller, few biggest survived into the nineties SS 454 Silverado,460 Ford F250 and F350 no biggens from Dodge sad but true only V10 when Viper came out, then Ford V10 in vans and some trucks.
I wish these narrators would get their facts straight, he stated that they were built in the late 60's, the Barracuda was built from 1964 to 1974, I don't remember what year that the "Plymouth" division was discontinued, thinking mid to late 90's.
@@shockadellick There is a rumor GM is bring back the Firebird. Well, the Firebird as always been connected to the Camaro. GM is getting rid of the Camaro again, so why would GM bring back the Firebird? None of this makes any sense. Furthermore a Dodge salesman told me that they are getting rid of the Challenger and Charger, then bring back the Charger as a hybrid. Why would the Plymouth Cuda be coming back when the line stopped being built? It's all A.I. bs. The names are gone, Pontiac, Plymouth, Oldsmobile. Those names are gone. Next this channel will be saying they are coming back with the 442.
@@randyrussell4331 Yeah, I forgot about that one. I even have a wallpaper of that car. LOL They copied the front of the GTO Judge. GTO was a looker. I like the the GTO. My cousin when he was an Air Force Captain he had a red 67 GTO 389 TRI POWER convertible. Red, black interior, and white convertible top. So many Muscle Cars it is hard to keep up with them. I don't see them building this car and bring back Plymouth thou. There is a video on YT of GM bringing back the Trans Am. Pontica is gone. Plus, why would they bring back the Trans Am and stop building the Camaro? Does not make any sense. Camaro/Firebird, they have been attached since 67. Yes, different motors but bodies were the same. One of my cousins had a 67 Firebird with a 327 Chevy. Beat a lot of cars with that car. He never popped the hood.
You know perfectly well they're never going to make these cars but your drawings are great why don't you just present a big bunch of pictures of carswho look through and maybe they could design some fiberglass cars
Now this is why I said gasoline and oil are not done. We need a balance in our world to co2 emissions and this car is not a compromise! We must keep oil and gas alive, I never wanted it totally gone. A balance is needed and what that number is we will only know once we achieve it!
Since Plymouth is no longer a division of Mopar, and the hemi is being phased out, I guess the Hami will be the replacement for it. I think it's sad to make folks think this crap is real...
As a Pontiac and a Mopar fan I appreciate the tribute to a Firechicken but that front end needs major reworking. It should be open style with the split not part of the body line but the grille. It looks like it was designed by someone who's never seen a 'Cuda.
The AAR Cuda was only built for 1year 1970 and the Dodge Challenger T/A also. Neither had Hemi's instead it was powered by a 340 with a six pack. AAR had a six barrel 340. Both were built for trans am racing.
I agree it looks like a firebird they should take that back to the drawing board and make it look like a cuda, when they brought back the Challenger they made it look like the Challenger
A new Cuda should be a mix of a Cuda and a Pantera in one. You can see when you look at them in pictures if you mashed them together it would be a sick car
Back in the day my buddy stole one from nunyas garage and we side ish showed in Oakland 1983 joy riding. Drove the wheels off and well kept the Kragers for a souvenir. Drove it like we stole it. Thats a memory I really dont think I regret. Apologies 🪶
Gorgeous car, a perfect re-interpretation of a classic.
EEEWWWWWWW! Yuck!
Looks more like a 68 firebird the any cuda I've seen!
Exactly my thought as well looks like a 67 to 69 in my eyes, but if this is true it's a nasty lookin car. I like it
Either way it looks great
@DeanGelsinger-wq9lr exactly it looks friggin amazing. Let's hope it's real
I have to agree. Who designed that front end ????? It does remind me of a firebird, NOT a Cuda ?????
Yup but it will never be put in production.
I WILL WAIT UNTIL THEY REDESIGN THAT FRONT END. IT LOOKS LIKE A TAKE ON THE FIREBIRD !!!!!
It looks EXACTLY LIKE an updated 67-69 Firebird.

I agree BIG MISTAKE Fire that dud !
@@ronsurofchek7009 look at 64 - 68 cuda's

Sorry, can't put a Pontiac front end on a Mopar. I had to clean up the Vomit. What a crime.
It’s not a Pontiac front end. That’s the 64 - 69 barracuda front end!
I love Hami and Cheese sandwiches!
I'd like to slap this designer with a ham cheese sandwich, lol
😂😂😂
That's a slap in the face to the CUDA!!!
Yeah, the front end design kills it. Looks more like a firebird !!!!!
It’s is but it’s still badd ass I want one
Tavares will probably have it built on a Alfa platform with a hybrid 1.3 or something as dumb.
I think someone is right looks like an early model firebird.
I someone woo hoo🤙
Late model Shitbird is more like it.
Looks mors like the superbird! Thats plymouths legendary classic!
at least they could've got a narrator that's not from somewhere in Africa that can pronounce H E M I, well stellantis buried themselves now, too late

No Chrysler
No Stllantis
No way it's getting made.
