      The safe bet for fitment would be 2in spacers because the studs don’t stick out at all with that size.

    I have a stock 2020 LT trail boss. I’m looking to run 33x12.5s on the stock wheels. I see in a previous comment you are running 285/75r18s. I’m assuming I could get away without a 2” sst kit like your running, considering those tires will be almost 2 inches smaller in diameter. Of course it’s never safe to assume though

    The red looks great 👌 I bought a black TB 6.2 in August and not too happy with the stock wheel look. What’s my best option for bigger tires and spacers?

    • @zachattackcustoms
      @zachattackcustoms  11 місяців тому

      Thanks, honestly a lot of options you can go with. I have 285/72/18 with the ready lift sst 2.0. Depends if you want to go wider on bigger diameter. I have heard you can go 295 wide with the factory control arms and no spacers.

    Question? I just purchased new tires and running them on factory rims 295/70/18. With this size tire I do not currently rub but I also have a level kit installed on my TB. Which spacer would you recommend? 1.5 or 2in. I understand I may have to do a little trimming. I'd like to run the 2in. Thanks in advance

    • @zachattackcustoms
      @zachattackcustoms  2 місяці тому +1

      You should definitely be good with either spacer, cause that’s only a 34.3 in tire. You will be better off than me cause mine is a 35in tire.

    I am thinking about putting a ReadyLift 2.0 in the front, and leaving stock in the back. Going to keep stock rims with 35" M/T tires, 2" wheel spacer. Would that be a good idea?

    • @zachattackcustoms
      @zachattackcustoms  Рік тому +1

      I don’t recommend 35s with the ReadyLift anymore because I have dealt with slight rubbing issues the whole time I have had my tires and they are only a 34.8. I would go just a little smaller on the tires with this kit.

      @@zachattackcustoms What size tires are you running? I'm thinking of some BORA 1.35" spacers with my 2" level and wondering how much rubbing will happen on my 285x65x20(which is a 34.8" tire). I'm thinking that I'll have to remove the factory mud flaps.

    • @zachattackcustoms
      @zachattackcustoms  Рік тому

      You can’t run any spacers unless you take off the piece on the front that holds the fender liner in. Check out my 2in spacer video and I go over what you need to remove. I can’t speak for the spacer size you are wanted to run though cause the factory studs may stick out to far.

    • @zachattackcustoms
      @zachattackcustoms  Рік тому

      Also, the reason I wouldn’t suggest buying Bora Spacers is because they are too expensive. If you take the money you would spend on those and the money you could probably get for your factory trail boss wheels, you are probably close to having the amount it would take to get a wheel with the offset you want and that’s always a safer route.

    Is this video done based on your truck having a 2” lift from factory on the TBs

    • @zachattackcustoms
      @zachattackcustoms  6 місяців тому

      I have a readylift sst 2.0 lift kit. The main reason for the video is to show if factory studs will work with the factory trail boss wheels without having to trim the the factory studs. Some wheels will require you to cut the factory studs. Wheel size will be different without the lift.

    So I’d have to lift in order to have spacers keeping everything stock? I just want a better stance, and not have to spend ridiculous amounts of money for this just yet. Thanks man

    • @zachattackcustoms
      @zachattackcustoms  7 місяців тому +1

      It depends on your tire size. If you have factory size tires then you should be fine. My tires are 35's which already had slight rubbing without the spacers. Having the spacers, caused more rubbing issues in the front requiring me to take off the metal bracket up front that holds the fender liner in place. It would be the same issue if you went with aftermarket wheels with an offset, you would have to take in to account if you went with bigger tires.

    • @aprustic_creations
      @aprustic_creations 7 місяців тому

      @@zachattackcustoms hey that’s great. So I am running the stock rims and tires. If I go 2” spacer I should be good to go. This will put my aesthetic mind at rest until I can invest in a lift kit and larger wheels and tires. Rome wasn’t built in a day! Thanks for the info! Do you get any kickbacks for a purchase of the spacers? If so, I’ll buy through your channel. 🤙🏼🇺🇸

    • @zachattackcustoms
      @zachattackcustoms  7 місяців тому +1

      @aprustic_creations I appreciate it, I get a little back if you use promo code zachary10 and you get 10% off. I would just check the offset before you buy them to be safe. I don’t want you to end up with spacers that rub as I am not 100% positive cause I never had spacers before the lift. Custom Offsets website has a pretty good wheel offset calculator. I would check there first.

      There is slight rubbing with my tire size. You have to peel back the fender liner and you have to take off the bracket on the front that the liner attaches to that’s screwed to the rocker panel.

      1.5in rubs a tiny bit more with my tire size, 285/75/18 and ReadyLift SST 2.0. Rubbing will be different on each setup. Biggest thing I wanted to show in this video was that you don't have to cut the factory studs with these two spacers with the factory wheels.

      You would probably have to cut the studs which I would not recommend. The 1.5in is about the smallest spacer you can run without modifications. I painted my calipers, it was very easy with the kit I purchased.
