Doll House Restoration Pt 2

We have made great progress. The whole house received a fresh coat of paint, bottom structure has been reinforced, wallpaper when up, floorings went down, chair rail, baseboards, and corner trim was installed 😊
Items needed for the project:
• Wooden doll house
• Mini miter box
• Small wood pieces for trim and underside reinforcement
• Paint and paintbrushes
• Thin brown paper
• This paper to use as tracing/pattern paper for the wallpaper
• Wood glue, Mod Podge, and white glue that will dry clear
• Scissors and a razor blade
Directions:
• Gather all materials
• Prep table for the painting process
• Glue wooden pieces under the structure to reinforce the bottom are of the doll house - allow to dry thoroughly
• Paint lower portions of all the walls - allow to dry thoroughly
• Paint the stairs - allow to dry thoroughly
• Create templates for wallpaper
• Glue wallpaper to the walls
• Crumple thin brown paper - smooth out - re-crumple - do this several times - finally dampen paper and re-crumple one final time - smooth and allow to dry
• Once dry, tear brown paper into small irregular shapes
• Using Mod Podge, use brown paper pieces to floor- allow to dry thoroughly
• Measure and cut all trim pieces - I worked through one set at a time - i.e. all chair rail, then all base boards, and finally all small corner pieces
• Glues all trim into place - allow to dry thoroughly
