Special Santa Door Covering

Today, we are saving Santa! 😊 I am taking a vintage Santa imprinted cloth and restoring it! I was not sure how this one would turn out - but boy I am loving it!!!
Items needed for the project:
• Fabric with pattern on it
• Paint and paint brushes
• Fabric softener
• Cup with water and a clean cloth for oops moments 😊
• Wood for trim
• Twine
• Scissors
• Screwdriver
Directions:
• Gather all materials
• For me I had to clean my surface first - ironing, hand washing then allowing to dry
• I began by painting the front side interior areas and then worked my way out to the edge - then allowed to dry
• I then added detail to the front side - then allowed to dry
• Then I color blocked painted the backside of the project - then allowed to dry
• Then I added the finishing touches to the front of the project - then allowed to dry
• My Husband cut and drilled holes in the wood pieces
• I faux painted the wood pieces for the trim - then allowed to dry
• I cut a piece of the twine and added knots to each end
• I layered the twine and the painting between the 2 pieces of wood and screwed them together
• I test hung the piece and looked for any areas that needed attention
• Getting ready to give it away! 😊
