6.18.22 Father's day weekend Kokanee Adventure and Trout EXTRAVAGANZA! / Shaver Lake, CA

Father's day weekend Kayak Kokanee Fishing, special guest... Mr. Trout. Could not keep the trout off the lines. It was a good day of catching fish. I did get my limit of good quality Kokes! Still pretty early to get the honey do list completed!

I did not catch 1 Kokanee last week with the non stop trout bite.

It was pretty bad this day. But catching fish is better than not catching fish right? next time you're up there. go deeper if your using a down rigger or heavier weight. should be able to get on some Kokanee.

No fee to launch at Sierra Marina, but I’m not sure about parking area to park your boat trailer. I don’t have a trailer and just put my kayak on my truck bed so I usually just park in public parking on ramp. Check out shaver lake Sierra Marina website. They have great info on there.
