They weren't _that_ fast. It's funny because there was nothing wrong with the microphone, just something wrong with his monitor, so I'm pretty sure they just gave him back the exact same microphone 🤣
@@ABCo-ABMedia I've been trying to figure out what could have been wrong with it. There's so many possibilities but my guess is that there were issues during rehearsal, couldn't get the levels right in his ears, wireless issues only his pack was picking up, the list goes on

This video here is a mastered video that's been re-mixed after and made to sound the way it does (which is absolutely fine, and definitely something every performance should get), so _perhaps_ the sound from the microphone was still being recorded by something that then gets used in this video, but if you look at the *livestream* of the event you can hear the microphone cut out, so it was gone live. I really hope the reason we can hear it here isn't that they re-recorded that line in the studio over because then it's not "live"... Also, he messed up the lyrics at 1:43 which is... Magically fixed here :/ It's a little discouraging, the whole point of a live video is that it's LIVE! Like, if it was taken from another bit of the show or another live show, I _guess_ I'm alright with that, but anything re-recorded in the studio on a _live_ release is just straight-up lying. So I really hope it's not that.
