I love how he has a unique style going for him where he is not trying to perform any mimicry and he totally makes it his own, but I just can’t help but notice how he got the lyrics totally wrong at the beginning. There are two variations of the bridge into the chorus. The first has the line “Trusting in what you can't see” and the second has the line “Find that next stage no matter what that may be.” He instead says the second (“Find that next stage no matter what that may be”) at both points in the song, and it messes with the progressing narrative of the song. Also, this is more personal preference, but I find his vocals a bit stressed or rough sounding and nowhere as sharp and well-defined as Ted Poley’s. YMMV.
@@sonichedgehog36 When you're performing live your throat can definitely get tired or sore affecting who you sound. While I think it's partially just his natural sound, I think that contributes. He sounds like he's gonna pass out
