Angus deserves all the best because of his hard work giving us sounds that really lift ones spirits along with the rest of AC/DC RIP Malcolm and Bon. AC/DC was. is and always will be my favorite R&R band.
Between them all with Angus and his AMAZING guitar playing they created a great band and one that stands out from all the others and there are some great bands out there
I love AC/DC since i m 14 that was 1986. Blown out after watched Let There Be Rock live in paris on VHS. Never watch their concert. Still big fan of them and can't stop listening to them 24/7. Hail AC/DC from Malaysia.
I am 55 this year , in 7th grade I bought the Back In Black Album . Still have it . It is so cool to Angus play that song live now that I so loved playing drums to when in 7th grade.
First album I picked out for myself was Back in Black,and still it along with For those about to Rock.Atleast I got to see them once with Queensryche as opener.Probably the best and loudest concert I've rocked to.
Angus Young AC/DC such a great band well he was so different from any other rock and roll bands who in the world would think of wearing shorts I thought that was just brilliant in the way he hopscotch across the floor man awesome guitar player 👍💖🖐️😎
Good for him and his family, he’s earned every penny, sorry for loss of his brother. His and Malcolm and rest of the band entertained a lot of people, still listen to many of there tunes to this day.
I was 12 yrs old(1979) and my older sister took me to see my favorite band Ac/Dc. I will never forget this show. I remember jumping over piles of puke, pint size bottles of Jack Daniels, and the smell of weed filled the coliseum (Jax,Fl). Humble Pie was the opening band. When Ac/Dc hit the stage, I was so small I weaseled my way through the crowd to the front easily.Once I made it up front I witnessed the best rock n roll show ever!!! Got to pat Angus on the back when he got on a security dudes shoulders and ripped around in the crowd. Went to many other concerts back in day but that show I will never forget. If I remember correctly my General Admission ticket was 12 bucks!!!
Awesome story, my closest experience is when I saw Ted Nugent at The House of Blues in Myrtle Beach and watched him play Stranglehold from 1 feet away, I could have reached out and touched hisd boot lol.

I’ve witnessed the energy of ACDC 14 times, 3 of which the mighty Bon Scott prowling the stage with ACDC at his back with a megaton of raw rock & roll filling the air. Each time was glorious! I’m a 44 year rabid die hard fan of the greatest band the gods of rock have bestowed upon us

I saw two Rosemont horizon, 1981 or 82. It was great show sold out and I saw back in Black in 1980 Rosemont horizon. Illinois sold out long live AC/DC, my friend and I also saw Highway to Hell done in Chicago in 1979.

Went to see the band in the mid-80s when I was about 40. Killer show! I was older than 99% of the audience. Not that there are no fans my age, they just don't much go to big concerts where it takes an hour to park and walk into the auditorium, in this case the U of Texas basketball gym.
Just awesome guitarist and band through the years and they were able to keep it together and come out with two of their best albums ever near to end. But I'm sure Angus is always jamming on brother The world loves you man and your band

#24? hardly, how about Top Ten. His talent and songwriting skills were incredible and I'm not a big AC/DC nut, just like a handful of their songs but I recognize the greatness of this guy and his riffs. And he's done all this without drinking and doing drugs. Absolute massive respect for this guy.

It was anti climatic mainly for the very dry production. The drums sounded like someone bashing a set of upended buckets. Rising Power is still a killer song amongst others as is Bedlam In Belgium.

@Al Clark yes Bon passed in 1980 and so after Brian became their lead vocalist but as great as Brian Johnson is Bon Scott was in a league of his own and he and Angus really were quite a team . Fun years . I am 59 years old started going to concerts from 76 with just my sister and friends but my parents took us to concerts at younger ages also . Al I have been to about 1,000 concerts in my lifetime so far. I have seen so many fabulous musicians! I love music guess that’s no secret. Lol

Some facts are a little off here! His mother didn’t buy him an electric guitar, she bought him an acoustic and then his brother Malcolm gave him his first electric! That’s straight from Angus himself!!
And they didn't go down the pan in the 1980s either....nearly every album after back in black was either in the top 5 or close in the uk album charts from 1980 to 1990.....TOP 5 NOT DROPPED OUT OF THE TOP 55

It was Malcom's band. RIP Mal & Bon. Mal & Angus being brothers worked on the band as a pair, but it was Malcom that started the band and regulated the vast majority of what they did. And why wouldn't Angus agree? Simply because they were always discussing all the aspects of the band - songs and everything else. They are legendary. Hats off to them all.

Saw them around 5x starting in the 80s,in good old St.Paul M.N. So much fun,when hells bells song started a huge bell lowered from the ceiling.They hit the bell and to this day still I can remember that moment, it sent chills down your spine,,,,in a good way!
I would like to see you interview Taj Farrant. He is a child prodigy guitarist who saw angus at a concert when he was six. He told his dad he wanted to do that for the rest of his life. He lives in long jetty and is 12 years. You can find him on utube, Facebook and just Taj Farrant!!!
Correction: Angus Young is just a songwriter not a singer because the backup singing duties went to his brother rhythm guitarist the late great Malcolm Young and Bassist Cliff Williams. Angus Young's job was being the star in the band and star on stage with his awesome guitar riffs and doing his signature duckwalk.

Most guitarist also sing. If they are really a strong guitar based band they mostly do not sing though because of amount of attention needed for the guitar parts.

Malcolm and Angus founded the band with the help of their older brother, and it was actually Malcolm who wrote most of the music, and it was one of their sisters who came up with Angus's school boy uniform and look. Somebody didn't do their research very well.
I'm glad somebody else noticed how badly written this is. They also said he has been reported to have never taken any drink or drugs... I guess they never heard about his dacades of heroin use!
I love AC/DC I first saw them on the streets of Adelaide South Australia back in the 70’s. If possible could you show something about the late Bon Scott, with his memorial being on the other side of Australia it hard to visit that side. You all Rock hard, guys seen you 3 times in Sydney. Got every CD that has been produced, hope they bring out more.

Saw AC/DC in 70s at Glasgow City Halls. Angus climbing on top of amps sticks in my memory. Tyler Gang who wer support got pelters from crowd & their lead singer was goin beserk coz we only wanted to hear AC/DC. Some memories stay with u forever !!
I was a short tiny teenager when I met him once when they opened for KISS before they got big and I was so shy I just stood there with others but he asked me about my shirt I was wearing I had made and we talked like we were old friends and I forgot who I was talking to but after he left I was like wow I just talked to Angus YOUNG! great time.

With brother Angus. They wrote together. Always bringing initial riffs to the other for "quality inspection", then they'd "flesh 'em out". Not a solo endeavor. But IF ONE was more "the force" over the other, it was Angus. Not Malcolm. Malcolm was more "the leader" on how the band pushed forward with its projects and direction.

I’m 62 and I saw them at the Tacoma Dome 4 or 5 years ago. Absolutely phenomenal.

FLICK OF THE SWITCH is criminally underrated it's one pf my Favorite AC/DC albums and That tour in 1983 was my first time seeing the Band in concert.

Correction: Angus Young is just a songwriter not a singer because the backup singing duties went to his brother rhythm guitarist the late great Malcolm Young and Bassist Cliff Williams. Angus Young's job was being the star in the band and star on stage with his awesome guitar riffs and doing his signature duckwalk.

Most guitarist also sing. If they are really a strong guitar based band they mostly do not sing though because of amount of attention needed for the guitar parts.

Malcolm and Angus founded the band with the help of their older brother, and it was actually Malcolm who wrote most of the music, and it was one of their sisters who came up with Angus's school boy uniform and look. Somebody didn't do their research very well.
I'm glad somebody else noticed how badly written this is. They also said he has been reported to have never taken any drink or drugs... I guess they never heard about his dacades of heroin use!
This is a history of the band, not a documentary on Young's current lifestyle.

I love AC/DC I first saw them on the streets of Adelaide South Australia back in the 70’s. If possible could you show something about the late Bon Scott, with his memorial being on the other side of Australia it hard to visit that side. You all Rock hard, guys seen you 3 times in Sydney. Got every CD that has been produced, hope they bring out more.
I known many rock bands, Rainbow, Iron Maiden to name a few, But AC/DC rocked mi world and many others, party goes and friends, little about of my life thank you AC/DC to the end, big fan, ever seen one concert 👿
Saw AC/DC in 70s at Glasgow City Halls. Angus climbing on top of amps sticks in my memory. Tyler Gang who wer support got pelters from crowd & their lead singer was goin beserk coz we only wanted to hear AC/DC. Some memories stay with u forever !!
Malcolm was actually the driving force behind this band, not Angus. And Malcolm was the principal songwriter on many early hits.

I was never into AC/DC, but have been lately. They are humble dudes. I can’t understand how the singers talking voice turns into that singing voice.
I was a short tiny teenager when I met him once when they opened for KISS before they got big and I was so shy I just stood there with others but he asked me about my shirt
I was wearing I had made and we talked like we were old friends and I forgot who I was talking to but after he left I was like wow I just talked to Angus YOUNG! great time.
Seen them a couple times in Hartford CT. Long live AC\DC

Every body with a guitar knows Malcom was the writing force behind the band.
With brother Angus. They wrote together. Always bringing initial riffs to the other for "quality inspection", then they'd "flesh 'em out". Not a solo endeavor. But IF ONE was more "the force" over the other, it was Angus. Not Malcolm. Malcolm was more "the leader" on how the band pushed forward with its projects and direction.
Not when Bon Scott was alive, he wrote the lyrics.
Thank you this was well worth watching and just truly 🙏 showed what a legend he is 🤘👊
