Finally someone who plays it at the right speed (for me)
How can you know how Beethoven wanted it ?
I totally agree with you
Strongly agree with this. Most people that actually know it play too fast
How about Valentina? She's amazing too
@@fravain4863 that's true
Dig the intensity. But I think you need more pianos in that room.
Yes I was wondering how much the incredible note warmth was due to the sympathy of the piano audience.
Just one more, I think.
I love this interpretation. Andreas plays this probably the way Beethoven himself would have. He even looks like Beethoven!
Yes, he really looks like Beethoven...
Beethoven! Beholden the great Beetroot man, a prodigy of music for real.
Great sound on the piano too
Agree 100%
Love the Passion!!!
Yes!
The best one I think...
If i ever will enter to a time machine, i would go back in time just to listen how Beethoven played this!
potbaba17 me to
All pianist write the song exactly how they wouldve played it.
My guess is this guy it the closest you’ll hear to how Beethoven would have played it. He even looks like Beethoven!
He would have played it very aggressively and accurately with a calm and serious demeanor.
U don't need to enter to a time machine, u just need looking for me,
By far one of the best performance moonlight mov. 3 i have ever seen
Someone who plays like this really deserves more subs and likes.
Perfection. Right tempo. Right intensity. Perfect control.
AMAZING!!!!
to je jak od Wilhelm Kempff:)
Passionate!.
Just like Beethoven!!!
WHO ARE YOU!!!? Excelent performance.
I found this video in a different video and clicked on this video link and I cant believe that he has so few followers.
I started learning piano but then my piano teacher broke her hip and had to retire so I sadly quit for a bit.
But then I heard some of my uncle's friends play piano and I remembered that I promised her I wouldn't stop playing and got back into it. Now I aim to please, and remember her saying wrist up and back straight and dont forget the rest.
Update: she sadly passed a way recently, she was a wonderful teacher and I miss her deeply. I hope she's doing well on the other side. She had thought piano since she was 14 she lived to almost 90. Rest in peace Mrs Chavis
This is currently my favorite, and the best performance of Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement. I enjoyed Valentina Lisitsa's performance, but this performance trumps all others.
Christian nope kempff is best
how about murray perahia?
@@skylermccloud78 Totally agree, Kempff remains the best !
Mark Salman’s is my favorite
I wholeheartedly agree!
This is by far the best youtube performance!
Beautiful. Genuine, immediate, clean. I bet Beethoven himself would have really liked this approach to the piece.
This deserves way more views
Dynamics are absolutely superb and he isn't afraid to utilize the rests. GREAT!
This is my absolute favorite performance of this piece. I’ve probably watched this video at least fifty times. Amazing work! I’d give my left hand to play like this, but then - oh wait...
Probably one of the best interpretation ever
Because it's the only one you(ve ever heard probably ...
Absolutely WONDERFUL and INSPIRATIONAL
One of the best interpretations Ive heard! Elegantly played
Mr Boyde, your performance of the "Moonlight Sonata" is fantastic!!!! It's the best I've heard!!!!! Thank you so much for making available for the enjoyment of all of us!!!!!
Tempo...phrasing and dynamics on point
I love how he really plays the big chords Forte.
i had watched at least 30 different versions on youtube but this is my fav!
Still my whole family's favourite performance! Thank you so much!
One of my favorite pieces by Beethoven, and this performance is both expressive and moving. Wonderful.
Beautiful, Excellent..¡¡
I’ve been looking for the best version for this amazing musical piece and so far this is the best one.... i could only imagine how Liszt or Bethoven himself played it, maybe in heaven!
this is one of my favorite pieces
A m a z i n g. The final part is incredible and amazing!!
Christine Boyde Wundervoll, fantastisch spannend interpretiert, einfach toll
Your transition at 2:10 and the change in tempo is absolutely perfect
A true electrifying performance 👏 Thank you Mr. Boyde. 😊
This is played so well omg CRISP
I love how he ably differentiates the different sections, phrases, and moods. So many run things together or without the subtle distinctions captured here.
Very beautiful, thank you for sharing.
Sir it's too much good I have no words to say. It's too much good
*respect* is all I have
This is a really good. Demonstrated a very well control technique.
so beautiful... so touching...
Che bravo pianista!
This is the best interpretation I've heard here on YT. I usually give some sort of criticism, and I can to some degree, but no this was great. You deserve the applause sir. Thank you.
For me, he is another Beethoven
Impeccable!!
look at those beautiful pianos dear gos
by far best perfomance that I've heard!so clean.
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT
Incredible. My favourite interpretation as far as UA-cam experience goes. Played with real feeling and emotion. Truly excellent. I'm now tempted to make the three hour journey to see you playing in Devon UK, September 4th.
Best Moonlight 3 performance for me...
Un véritable virtuose
Einfach nur wunderbar!!!!!
My favorite performance of this song on UA-cam. Love the passion its played with. Andreas's willingness to go really slow in the slow bits and really quiet in the quiet bits is very cool.
look at his face, his expressions, he expresses emotions with the notes, not like many others
WOW that really was powerful! Gave me tingles up my spine.
This is the perfect interpretation that I've heard so far!! This is the way I wish I could play
Man you got it right! Best performance of moonlight sonata. bravo!
Superb performance.
Simply sublime rendition. Really awesome. Bravo!!!

La ejecución más perfecta que jamás he visto! Maestro! 😍

Bravo! Mr. Boyde played the heck out of this piece! I particularly like how he lingers on the octave G to G# near the end. His dynamics and articulation are impeccable. Pristine performance.
No me canso de verlo una y otra vez. Sencillamente fantástico! Es usted brillante, maestro!
reminder, watch this again!
Wow! Incredible performance!
Dislikes under this one? Oh, thats Kempf, Lisitsa, Periah and Li! Kidding) I like all of them! But mr. Boyde just surprised me!
flawless technique
🙂 such a beauty. thank you so much 😭
Amazing.....
Master piece!!! I love you man !
positively inspiring.
Please upload more Mr Boyde
Master!!!
No me canso de escucharle. Bella interpretación👏👏👏
That place is the paradise
wow, Klasse Andreas. Wahnsinn mit welch einer Schnelligkeit. :-) Perfekt.
those pianos are made 12 per year and cost like £120k each
In that room there are like 15 pianos..
Bravo bravo 👏
Perfect💯👍👍👍👍
Bravo!!!
es un montoooooon
Perfecto
Ludwig Punk Beethoven! Jaja una interpretación re rockera.
perfect
the best tempo
best one
muhtesem
Beautifull and special performance. I never saw the endpart playing like this (at 6:26 where both hands play the scales) . At 5.58 these 4 notes are written as sixteenths. Here they are played as sixty-fourth notes, so the delay effect is not audible. Nevertheless, it is among the best performances I have heard.
When you really forget what is like to be happy again.
I like this performance to but my favorite are wilhelm kemoff and murray periaha
At last... found somebody who've played the moonlight 3rd mov fine with no extra emotions, with minimal mistakes... except at the ending that is.
This shit fire‼️
Hi, Beethoven can make an music but 2021 please
bravo! how i can play this piece ?:(
어마무시
Watching this just gave me carpal tunnel syndrome
I think it's disappointing that everyone thinks it's okay to play this movement at fastest speed possible. Allegro doesn't necessarily mean play as fast as possible. I'm a noob piano player but i think this might sound a lot better played a tad slower.
It's Presto Agitato, meaning it's fast and restless?
***** I imagine that was only because it was the third movement of a sonata. If it's just played by itself then I'd say you're aloud more freedom
But this is the intended speed
one piece is a devil fruit named Destiny Destiny which gives you the power to restart your journey and adventures again from the beginning thats why after roger sees it at raftel/laughtale and the poneglyph states that you've come again here in onepiece they laugh cause he remembered it after he ate the devil fruit, Roger and Luffy really likes adventures cause they were the same person. Then after he ate the fruit it activated the power which caused him to get ill and surrender himself to the marine so he can die and be ressurected, and that is LUFFY and so his journey restarts again. and it will repeat again and again then laugh caused he made it again haha.. maybe because of the will that zorro and rayleigh has the same mark on their eye and rayleigh's wife looks the same as robin and then maybe the twist is that luffy has had a devil fruit with his encounter of shanks for the first time of his endless journey being a pirate that he cannot eat the fruit again there's a lot of maybe cause this is just my theory. lets just wait for our ODA.
the pianist
