Agreed. It suited her very well. Maybe if all Government employees wore catsuits the general public might think more highly of them. Definitely needs to be a recurring character.
Things I was not expecting this morning but have no issue with now that they've happened: 1. Bureaucrat in a catsuit 2. Spanish Inquisition the video game 3. A baby Pac Man playing with half rat/half sharks
I love the amount of research and effort and fun you put into your videos, not just a bog standard review or description but with some acting and comedic stuff thrown in too. Keep it up Sarah, this is excellent content. 😍👍🏻
I was always sort of fascinated by "Chiller" at a clinical distance and holy shit this game is dark. I'm kinda surprised it didn't reach the kind of notoriety that Postal or Custer have. It is bordering on some Marquis de Sade "Salo" shit.
I love that Chiller exists. Honestly I think it's more 'shocking' than most games that are given that adjective, purely because of the fact that you're shooting innocent, restrained, people for no discernible reason. At least your GTAs or Mortal Kombats have a reason for the extreme violence. But it's an oddity and brings a new angle to the discussion of "offensive" games. If you can find a bootleg (or ROM), I'd love to see you tackle Thrill Kill on Playstation as part of this run of offensive game reviews.
I was 9-years-old when I encountered Chiller in the local arcade. I was a huge fan of Exidy's Cheyenne, and jumped at the chance to play Chiller. Honestly, it freaked me out pretty badly. I can remember playing for a few minutes, and then just walking away from the cabinet, leaving my play time on the machine. I never played it again, and kind of avoided the area where it stood after that. It wasn't fun, it wasn't interesting, and it didn't really seem to have a point aside from being gross. I had no idea that there was an NES port. You taught me something. Great video!
I wish I could pull off a cat suit like that. Oh no, this isn't my burner account! 😅 Once again, I'm so jealous of your wit and writing skills. And that was so sweet of you to cut out the white flashes for the people that may be affected. I'd get arthritis doing something that tedious in Premiere.
It's a bit thirsty to comment on the catsuit. But... you knew exactly the response you were aiming for. So here's the response: You're an amazing person. You're funny, caring and creative - and you're also hotter than the corona of the sun. Thank you for another entertaining video.
Your content is so amazing. I think I would have played chiller at 10 or 11 and loved it but my parents would have been upset. I think the best thing a parent can do is teach there kid the difference between reality and fiction. No matter what kids will find a way to experience something they “shouldn’t “
I was absolutely floored when I first played Chiller. It honestly was pretty impressive how detailed that gore could be with what was essentially the most simplistic level of MS Paint drawings.
I never saw the game in the arcade but rented the NES version after only seeing the specter on the front of the box and HOLY CRUD WHAT HAVE I RENTED!?! I absolutely loved it but felt like I had to hide it from my parents. Years later I assumed it had been a fever dream until I started seeing it referenced on the internet. It was fantastically edgy for the time, and everything a teenager trying to rebel against... well, everything... could possibly want.
I enjoyed the "was that you?" joke, cheeky stuff ;). Great writing as always! I think I would have been scared of chiller as a kid, I was pretty sheltered.
That cat suit.... Going to take a cold shower now. Good video! My best friends dad owned a vending and amusement company and he actually had chiller. I have memories playing that damn cab as a kid in his warehouse.
In many ways, this is your best video I feel. Your words and editing flow so well and is practically Screenwipe quality. No, seriously. Weird game anyway Chiller. Personally I think I prefer the unrelated Mastertronic game though.
How come i missed this game in the arcades? Thanks for a superbly entertaining and enjoyable review. Oh and you should definitely wear the catsuit all the time it suits you.
Great video! Interesting game and funny skits. I read about Chiller in Retro Gamer Magazine recently so it was very interesting to see it reviewed and showcased in motion.
Oh wow. Growing up my local arcade had a Chiller that I played once or twice. Later in life I played it in MAME so I could "unlock" everything. Never knew there was an NES version but honestly it doesn't look like I was missing much. Thanks for all the work you put into this, it came out great! I only stumbled on your channel a few months ago. Watched through the back catalog and it is impressive to see how you've refined your production over the years. The only suggestion I would have for you is featured in this video. It is normal in visual production that when you cut back and forth between two people talking that you shoot it so they are effectively facing each other. Many times I see you've shot things where both people are facing the same direction, which feels a little awkward. This may be a constraint of the layout of your flat, I don't know. But if you are able to flip that so it seems people are talking to each other that will just be another improving tweak to add to your already accomplished list of ever improving yourself. Keep it up, you're doing great and I love your material! I also hope you can find some more Rats and Tat to feature again!
Seeing those giant floating heads brought back a memory of when I went to a stage show at Thorpe Park and they started it with a giant projected face on a screen which freaked me out.
Great video! I always enjoy your content and have a good laugh at both the topic and your presentation. More rats and tat! I’m from Canada and I love seeing the weird products that aren’t found here. That catsuit was nice.
I made an episode about this game too, some years ago.. *BTW* the catsuit suits you nicely and it would be perfect for dealing with triffs and the other mice. :D
“15-20 years judging by my health at this stage.” Ouch, why’d you have make me relate to that today? My late-twenties arthritis and greying hair are offended.
Great humour and not to sound too crass, but you look amazing in that catsuit (As well as your regular clothing; you're a naturally pretty woman without all the plastic or crap tons of makeup!) I'd let my kids play (If I had any!) but I'd also talk to them about the differences between a video game person dying and real life, so they now what is fake and what is real. Many thanks to you for posting this, Octavius, you are the best!
@Octavius King great video as usual huge fan of your channel, you look stunning in a catsuit 😍!, i remember playing this game on my c64 back in the day, is it the same game? that one was made by mastertronic and had the same box artwork , they released for a number of other platforms as well, maybe you could do a follow up video covering all of those home conversions😉 !!! thank you for making such great videos !!!
I remember when this turned up at the local bowling alley, and there was usually a crowd around to watch the gory pixels fly. Though I would have thought I was 15 or 16 at the time, but it seems I was 21, so I don't know what that's about. Time tunnel probably ...
leaving a comment just to say the cat suit suited her fine.
💯
Agreed. It suited her very well. Maybe if all Government employees wore catsuits the general public might think more highly of them. Definitely needs to be a recurring character.
Death Race came out the year of my birthday. Great video Octavius keep it up girl. Love from the East Coast.
@@countzer0408 Especially BBC License fee collectors. LOL
She's a beauty indeed ❤️
I absolutely beg to differ...
That cat-suit REALLY does suit her.
I second this
Third
"Graveyards are where dead people live" - Octavius the Wise
she's all knowing.
and here I was under the impression that people died when they are killed
I've always felt this channel needed more HMRC content. 10/10
Things I was not expecting this morning but have no issue with now that they've happened:
1. Bureaucrat in a catsuit
2. Spanish Inquisition the video game
3. A baby Pac Man playing with half rat/half sharks
Understandable,
nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition (!) ,
have a nice day.
"There's more white flashing in these games than at spring break"
God damn I have missed this channel. Excellent.
I love the amount of research and effort and fun you put into your videos, not just a bog standard review or description but with some acting and comedic stuff thrown in too.
Keep it up Sarah, this is excellent content. 😍👍🏻
More Sarah, yaaaay!

"..until the age of 9 when every kid becomes a little bastard." Shit, I must've advanced. I was definitely a little bastard no later than 4.
I was 9-years-old when I encountered Chiller in the local arcade. I was a huge fan of Exidy's Cheyenne, and jumped at the chance to play Chiller. Honestly, it freaked me out pretty badly. "There's more white flashing in these games than at spring break" - you owe me for a laptop covered in tea Sarah that was far too funny.
It's a bit thirsty to comment on the catsuit. But... you knew exactly the response you were aiming for. So here's the response:
You're an amazing person. You're funny, caring and creative - and you're also hotter than the corona of the sun.
Thank you for another entertaining video.
9:29 Iron Maiden called. They want their album art cover back. ;) (joking aside, nicely done again Octy!)
Did someone say Iron Maiden? That's half my username.
Perfection once again. Sharp and hilarious writing, spot on editing, and all the productions!!! Love you and everything you make!!!
Your content is so amazing. I think I would have played chiller at 10 or 11 and loved it but my parents would have been upset. Love the content, adore the catsuit 💖
Always funny, consistently entertaining.. great one 👍🏻
I was literally just thinking about you and you go and drop two videos in one day??? Awesome! P.S. Thanks for the catsuit ❤️👍😎
"Let me know in the comments, which I will probably read, but will be far, far too anxious to reply to"
I feel this so much.
That cat suit looks GREAT on her, you're just jealous.
0:35 - BRB moving to England and not filing in my tax returns.
this game is POSTAL before POSTAL existed & you know what? I love it!
"blessed are the meek for they make easy targets"
I was absolutely floored when I first played Chiller. It honestly was pretty impressive how detailed that gore could be with what was essentially the most simplistic level of MS Paint drawings.
Oooh boy, this is gonna be a good one. Never thought I’d see Chiller reviewed on this channel, but it’s gonna be fun!
Good to see new content. The cat suit was a fantastic addition to the video.
I never saw the game in the arcade but rented the NES version after only seeing the specter on the front of the box and HOLY CRUD WHAT HAVE I RENTED!?! Love when a new video comes out it brightens my day everytime
Just wanted to say that you are a very talented person and I love your videos please continue making more
Awesome video. It was cool of you to take the time to edit out the flashes.
Great to see you back and as excellent as ever. You're definitely in the top of tier UA-camrs. Also the best Chiller video to date, seriously.
I enjoyed the "was that you?" joke, cheeky stuff ;). Great writing as always! I think I would have been scared of chiller as a kid, I was pretty sheltered.
Now I have to stop what I was doing and watch your new videos. Thank you.
(seriously, thank you)
That cat suit.... Going to take a cold shower now. Good video!
My best friends dad owned a vending and amusement company and he actually had chiller. I have memories playing that damn cab as a kid in his warehouse.
Love the Catsuit! Wish my HMRC rep looked that good :)
"Do you know how many bottles of wine I could buy with that?" - That's amazingly relatable.
You're hilarious, the cat suit is a great look also ; )
I had forgotten about this game! A great review and trip down memory lane!
Thank you for removing the white flashes, much appreciated.
In many ways, this is your best video I feel. Your words and editing flow so well and is practically Screenwipe quality. No, seriously. Weird game anyway Chiller. Personally I think I prefer the unrelated Mastertronic game though.
Dude, you cannot reference Mastertronic without mentioning Ninja/Ninja Mission...
I was thinking that i needed more HMRC workers in catsuits in my life, and you delivered! Excellent video again Octy xx
Loved the vid hun an the cat suite looked very good can’t wait till next vid
I loved playing this and all the bloody games at the arcades.
I enjoy these Videos quite a Bit. it took me a few Videos to understand some of the Humor and Slang that you Employ but You're Funny.
How come i missed this game in the arcades? Thanks for a superbly entertaining and enjoyable review. Oh and you should definitely wear the catsuit all the time it suits you.
Two videos to watch thank you octavis king my fav UA-cam star
Great video! Interesting game and funny skits. I read about Chiller in Retro Gamer Magazine recently so it was very interesting to see it reviewed and showcased in motion.
Well researched and funny episode, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Also loved the nod to the flapsharks at the end.
It's really cool you went to the effort to make it epilepsy safe never seen anyone do that
Oh wow. Growing up my local arcade had a Chiller that I played once or twice. Later in life I played it in MAME so I could "unlock" everything. Never knew there was an NES version but honestly it doesn't look like I was missing much.

Always nice to goof off at work and see a new Octavius vid!
Our King reads comments but is too anxious to asnwer : I LOVE YOU OCTAVIUS ! HAIL TO OUR KING !
Totally amazing video as always. I remember playing this in a north wales seaside arcade in an area for over 18's
Never has government employees looked that interesting.
Your jokes get funnier and more snappy each video!
For what you said in the X-Man review - Kudos for the HMRC rep outfit, well played!
I've seen this game in videos before, but never had the opportunity to play it.
It looks like so much fun.
awesome. haven't been seeing your posts for a while!
Awesome video from the cutie who only makes awesome videos, glad to see you're still at it.
A really great video, and the cstsuit was 🔥
Great to see you back. Was so worried by the absence. Especially after reading your blog. 💜
the youtubs gonna censor those pixels 100 %, great video btw!
Seeing those giant floating heads brought back a memory of when I went to a stage show at Thorpe Park and they started it with a giant projected face on a screen which freaked me out.
What made Chiller so controversial, wasn’t the gore. It was the blatant gore that involved human torture.
I don't know what it is with your hair that it is different, but I think it looks great. Also the video had me laughing all the way to the end!
subscribed. great video and i love this game!
One of your best, mate.
Great video Octavius. It's the writing that makes it so funny.
Great video!
I always enjoy your content and have a good laugh at both the topic and your presentation.
More rats and tat!
I’m from Canada and I love seeing the weird products that aren’t found here.
That catsuit was nice.
2 Sarah in one day?
Octavius, with these videos you’re really spoiling us!
Never heard of these arcade games, quite shocking, but very interesting.
Great stuff!!
Love to see your art ! Keep it going !
i do like the kind of gubbins you're doing! i've been subscribed for a long time now
Great to see you back on you tube. Great work.
Dang... Octav1us looking finer than the best chicken nuggies in the world. I'll take your entire stock!
Honestly the most gruesome part of death race these days are the Sound effects. That’s a good-quality scream sound for the time!
Great and fun video again and hope you are doing well!
I made an episode about this game too, some years ago.. *BTW* the catsuit suits you nicely and it would be perfect for dealing with triffs and the other mice. :D
“15-20 years judging by my health at this stage.”
Ouch, why’d you have make me relate to that today?
My late-twenties arthritis and greying hair are offended.
Another awesome video
Finally played it at Galloping Ghost Arcade just outside of Chicago.
Great humour and not to sound too crass, but you look amazing in that catsuit (As well as your regular clothing; you're a naturally pretty woman without all the plastic or crap tons of makeup!)
I'd let my kids play (If I had any!) but I'd also talk to them about the differences between a video game person dying and real life, so they now what is fake and what is real.
Many thanks to you for posting this, Octavius, you are the best!
this is one of your best videos yet! everything just seemed to click. maybe you should review more games you actually like :)
Oyoy, that cat suit though... wow. Please consider this a tasteful compliment on your clothing choices.
Loving the Pearl-Clutcher voice, ha.
I played this once in an arcade when I was 17. I thought it was the best thing ever. When I went back to the arcade the next week, it was gone.
Never in my life have I wanted a visit from HMRC, until now
Glad to see you looking well octy.
Welcome back!! You should review Princess Maker 2 !
We need MORE of the cat suit!
I gave never seen nor played Chiller and Death Race in the arcades. I didn't know they existed until years later after high school.
I remember bumping into this game. Felt like an edge lord tryhard. Very amusing
Oh wow 😍 awesome video as well
I remember when this turned up at the local bowling alley, and there was usually a crowd around to watch the gory pixels fly. Though I would have thought I was 15 or 16 at the time, but it seems I was 21, so I don't know what that's about. Time tunnel probably ...
Great video, thanks!
Wow cool, great video dudette
YES that cat suit does fit HER really well ^_^
Thanks for the nice video 😊
