And I the way you play this game is the same way I played Doom 3. Run up to everything and spam kill with the flashlight before some stupid zombie could come out and get me. That's real spooky.

I've been subbed to you for a while. I wrote some of the music that's in this game. I had no idea this game existed until now, I write a lot of royalty free stuff so it surprises me when I recognize my music in random games and videos. The track I recognized first is called dragon slayer (or maybe our heroes funeral march) off the album 8bit heroes. Thanks for uploading this video, or I may have never known.
At what timestamps? I had a listen to the two tracks of yours you mentioned, and, as far as I can tell, none of the tracks present in this video sound similar, aside from that your tracks had non 8-bit elements to them. The ones I noticed were the menu which is far slower paced, and more like a typical church organ tune; the 8-bit Moonlight Sonata for the forest; a deliberately minimal, distressed and disharmonious track for the Amy fight; the Moonlight Sonata reversed upon exiting the house again; and another entirely dissimilar song during the car scenes.
actually relistening I maybe only composed it, it actually sounds like an 8bit version of a song I wrote called vs mode. Along with royalty free songs I've released royalty free sheet music and midi.
Ahh yeah, VS Mode's melody I can most definitely hear 1 to 1. Well glad I'm wrong then, my apologies, sounds pretty sweet actually. It's curious how it's vibe entirely changes in 8-bit sans any percussion, and actually suiting this subject matter entirely. Would actually be curious to hear a fully faithful 8-bit rendition.
Krssvr did a good remix of that track, some other people have done full 8 bit remixes of my songs, the midi's out there. I can't believe I got the wrong song name, it's hard to remember all the song names. Thanks^^
41:15 That random fact about how much meat deer provides and how much you can carry back is a reference to the old school Oregon Trail, which this game resembles in many ways. Very clever.
I get why some priests flash a crucifix every few steps now. Entertaining and informative. I'm going to also start pronouncing twin, as "twine"...so, a bit inspiring too.
If anyone is looking for a really good timeline of events for the Faith series, a channel called Flaw Peacock has one. This series is as horrific as it is tragic. Yes there is an eldritch horror, which is little bit overdone as far as genre conventions go, but the family drama behind it all is simply heartbreaking.
tbh... I've watched it so many times but I have never actually gotten the full story explained to me. So I've never understood what went on as a whole. interesting
This game man. I couldn't get through it. Such good design. The music cuts off when you explore the house... It seems like a cult is involved at the "clinic". Maybe a fertility one or something considering the location and the use of baby dolls/cribs. Ami starts volunteering and gets involved (maybe through Gary? Dunno.) Ami then gets possessed by whatever they brought over. Doesn't explain the grey creature OR the four legged creature (it says "I want Father!") when you purge it sometimes.... Somehow, our character is involved with the four legged creature. (As it says "Father and Son" in the ending).
I'm pretty sure it's an abortion clinic. That's the only thing that really makes any sense why religious friend would stop talking to them and why is it baby doll make her feel bad
White Creature (Michael) Unique lines: Look at me! Noooooooo!!! Corruption! I want my father... Corner it! (Interrupted line) Corruption- **glitch** I HAVE THE- (interrupted) (And several unintelligible sounds) (Didn't feel like doing anymore)
It's a talented developer that can still make you jump with graphics like these. This person didn't need triple A graphics or sound production....just a good plot and excellent timing on the scares. This one's extra special!

0:40, it had a lot of low end cut out to make it more true chiptune sounding, it's one of the tracks off 8bit heroes, it's a free album.
actually relistening I maybe only composed it, it actually sounds like an 8bit version of a song I wrote called vs mode.
Thanks^^
The instant I heard the narration, I said "B-17 Bomber" mockingly.
all i hear is "i am sinistar"
41:15 That random fact about how much meat deer provides and how much you can carry back is a reference to the old school Oregon Trail, which this game resembles in many ways. Very clever.
I get why some priests flash a crucifix every few steps now.
Entertaining and informative. I'm going to also start pronouncing twin, as "twine"...so, a bit inspiring too.
Why has nobody mentioned that the priest drives a car with a spoiler? He's probably a youth pastor
Am i the only one who liked the 8-bit Moonlight Sonata at the beginning? Very pleasing to the ears
yeah it always makes me happy, although I never knew the name
gotta love how manly gets scared by a truck in the first 4 minutes of the game
I'm rewatching while waiting for ch3, and lmao, love how all the furnitures are normal sized except for that one humongous bed in the first room
i literally saw the bed as i was reading your comment
4:00 Out of all the times I've seen this game myself, I've never seen this happen
"Do you think I'm pretty?" *starts dancing around*
Melody Aurora “Do you think my face is pretty?”*
I love how the white thing at the beginning goes "NOOoOooOoO"
it is, as they say, a mood
I f0cking love the animations of the cutscenes, they are super rad
I know its probably weird to say but this game is kinda beautiful
I agree
I am HERE for the long horror videos! Lay it on me!
Professor Layton became a missionary? Huh. Who knew?
I love how it says " *m o r t i s* 💀🎹🎶"
This was pretty neat! One of the reasons I like your channel. You play cool stuff nobody else plays
I got tired of trying to beat the last boss with the arm so after multiple failed attempts, I came here to watch our man beat it.
"Amy?"
*".."*
*"AAAAAAAAAA"*
*"Of course you'd flee out of the window 🙄."*
Your game is missing the pentagon in the boss battle, it indicated her move pattern
Teenage me: I have something to say
My parents: 13:52
So Amy's just like, possessed forever in all the other endings?
+Fishfae
Assuming the spider thing is the physical form of the demon, then no. Amy did go through a window in all endings, though.
She probably found peace at the fifth ending
You can find out in the sequel!
My first move when I almost get run over by a semi is also to brandish a crucifix at it 🤣 dude that had me laughing so hard I cried 4:00
"I can't do a 360 god noscope" -ManlyBadassHero
If Manly gets startled, you know it's scary.
5:56 I don’t know what the white possessed dude is saying, but whenever I rewatch the part I hear it as “Oh SHiT OoOØÕŐØÕoo” and it breaks my fear 😂
He says "corruption"
"what I'm about to do has not been approved by the vatican" has similar vibes to "what I'm about to say may contradict gods teachings" from JoJo's
I didn't know you could pixelate voices,,,,,,,,,,,
"What I am about to do has not been approved by the Vatican" im going to say this in my life
First time Manly has ever really been scared, that's how you know its a great horror game
Watch his witches house gameplay.

Shiro Covers All I can think of whenever I hear or see those lines is Nancy Drew. Like I can literally hear it in her voice.
I saw that as soon as he said that
I've seen an instagram reel about this game and I just knew you would have a video about it,
❤️
God i love how you play games, just like me you become the character and get into the story, even when characters get hit i go oof
Wow this was the game that made me like this channel, and have been watching ever since. This video just popped up on recommended.
Hello ManlyBadassHero from 3 years ago. I hope the years were kind to you. This was the first video from you that I saw back in the day.
Seeing this really makes me nostalgic for the Chzo quadrilogy. I hope Manly plays them some day, the first and third game are really good!
White Creature (Michael) Unique lines:
Look at me!
Noooooooo!!!
Corruption! I want my father...
Corner it!
(Interrupted line) Corruption- **glitch**
I HAVE THE- (interrupted)
(And several unintelligible sounds)
(Didn't feel like doing anymore)
It's a talented developer that can still make you jump with graphics like these. This person didn't need triple A graphics or sound production....just a good plot and excellent timing on the scares. This one's extra special!
