    Iceless floor/street hockey always seemed more safe, cost effective, maybe even fun. I remember we used to do floor hockey alot in my town, in TEXAS. Ice rinks unneeded, and it was alot of fun despite us texans not being so much into yankee sports.

    For those saying playing this form of hockey is for pussies or for people who can't skate or are weak I'd encourage you to try it out. It's different, but it's just as fun and it's the same sport. If you're that close minded to just come here and bash it, then you don't have to stay, bye.

    • @ChrisFota
      @ChrisFota 8 років тому +1

      James Hapgood Hey James sorry for taking so long to respond I seriously just checked my statuses from youtube. The rules for kicking the ball are the same. You can kick to the stick, you can kick it away, you can't kick it into the net.

      I hear ya Chris, plus I live in Mexico, good luck finding ice over here to skate on. Plus most of the earth is too hot for traditional hockey.

      He took a dive. The other players glove caught him in the face after the stick lift so he acted like it was a high stick.

    Where was the game held on?
    I have never seen people do this "STREET HOCKEY", running by feet, as formal hockey game. Very interesting! I thought people only do this as casual training.
    Thanks you for this video. I like it. I think I am one of this "street hockey" players.
    But...they don't wear helmate and elbow gard? I think some people are just aggrasive players.......like to trick and push others to the ground...............

    This would destroy the blades on these sticks, there are made to withstand the impact of a slap shot on ice surface and a waxed concrete, not bitumen or gravel. you could break these sticks with a few slap shots on the gravel, the drag is too much for the flex.

    • @WallaceLeeMusic
      @WallaceLeeMusic 9 років тому

      Wouldn't be good to use composite sticks cause the cement would wreck the blade. Wood or like Hard plastic blades would work, not composite.
