i like sawmill personally, i think the rainy atmosphere looks so nice
It's also the setting of one of the greatest sfm's of all time.
Its also the setting of the two maps pyro sharks play in.

I thought Upward would be Engineer’s favorite because of all the iconic sentry spots, clever defense, and playground. I also thought Demoman’s favorite would be Dustbowl since the map is so heavy with choke points and a great place for sticky spam. It is also called “Demoman Heaven” by some people, like me
I’m a big fan of steel, think it’s a really interesting concept
I also love steel - but man is it too confusing for new players!

Yeah it's really good and I love the visual desing of it.
As an aspiring demomain, I like hightower too. Same reasons as soldier, and since everyone is soldier, there's less scouts to harass the living hell out of me.
I love both double cross maps, 2fort is fun as well as hightower, Upward is good, mercenary park looks really good, dustbowl made me feel better as a sniper and most of koth maps are good.
As a scout main. Two Fort is the bane of my existence.
As a hoovy main, I also have the same opinion on 2fort
banana bay is so underrated as a map while its the best plr map so thats why i like it

Landfall is my fav ctf map. More variety than in any other ctf map, no void (personal), mostly open space (personal) and there is a way to play it as ANY class (without major downsides in general)
Open space... Pyro prefers close to mid range combat... Yeah no.
@@smickothesmickest IDK. I've managed to get good kills both on open space and in buildings/corridors that are on the map even without using the flare guns. Also it sounds like you've never played on that map.
@@Mazur.N I've played 500 hours and the only map I know that I've never played before is banana bay so I dunno man. And also banana bay is the map I want to play on really badly since it looks real cool to me.

I like upward,dustbowl,badwater,Badwater, turbine, and harvest
Engineer: "Dustbowl is pretty easy to defend and always has 6 fellow engineers"

I think why heavy likes gorge is because that's where meet the heavy takes place
Meet the Heavy takes place on dustbowl though.
Spy is so sick of getting killed by stray damage that as long as a map has proper flank routes he likes it.
I like Viaduct, especially as a Battle Engi, I get a lot of mileage out of just putting minis in weird places and shooting people in the face when they're busy destroying the mini.
As a medic main who loves badwater, it was kinda funny how medic liked badwater
I like sawmill because you can see how someone jumps into saw blades and dies
The new map Altitude i really like it. Honestly really nice to look at and has some solid gameplay.
2fort is like Scout main's territory.

Thunder mountain is a favorite of mine as well. Just overall fun.
Had a great match where i managed to convince the entire attacking team to go heavy. We wiped the defending team in around 3-4 minutes.
I'm torn between sawmill and gorge…
Gorge has a lot of nostalgia tied to it, it was the first map that I did really well as spy on… And it was really the moment I discovered I wanted to be a spy main. Backstab after backstab, running away and hiding in one of the various corners… Sure I would die… A lot, but I kept playing, because it was so fun and intuitive… Gorge remains to be one of my favorite maps.
Sawmill has this great atmosphere, lots of open spaces for multiple people of both teams to fight… Lots of avenues to take, different paths to explore… And the overall vibe from that map is so good! I honestly can't decide between the two.

My favorite official maps are 2fort and Hightower, however if we're going off unofficial maps then definitely either Orange (and its variants) or Highertower
New players, or players that don’t turn around much like the maps with lots of choke points because it’s easy to get kills when you can’t be flanked from more than two directions.

As a scout player i can say i do not like 2fort as a scout that much. The only high ground you can give yourself an advantage out there is on the bridge and the stairway near the spawn and that is usually infested with balcony snipers and engineer sentries. It is honestly just another favorite for the new snipers and engineers because they get to camp balcony and base while it is almost a nightmare for scout players since almost every space is cramped and doesnt leave much room to jump around in. Demoman and Soldier reigns supreme in the hallways and sewers, even the heavy, never scout.
I like 2fort (the best map for memes),harvest,dustbowl,upward,highertower,turbine(idk why but i like it),badwater and george

Map What Spy Likes Is For Me Best Of All TF2
Hey spy play trade plaza, there is just a small pool on the center, a dark room for sentries that you can sap and a lot of space
As a scout main, I fucking HATE ctf_2fort. Literally everything that isn't the bridge is little room with tight spaces, aka splash damage dealer's wet dream. The lack of normal flanks is also dumb, the only good ones being the bridge roof pathway and maybe the sewers.
The only thing fun about ctf_2fort as scout is probably camping in enemy intel, fighting people, as more and more come my way.
On the other hand, I do like most of the koth_ and pl_ maps they are much more open and possess a lot more interesting jump points and positions

I’m not surprised but hey 2fort is a guilty pleasure of mine so I’m not here to judge. Yeah map is flawed but’s still a nice place to go to just to strew around on.
My favourite map is upward cuz I can play medic demo and Pyro without any problems

Because? Theres a pretty decent sniper sightline and bushes near spawn for stickies and spies to hide in. Well not as many as Upward but still some bushes! Thats already 3. And its open space. For Scout to dominate in. The guy who usually kills you. Thats 4 now. And since its a big open space Heavies moment is really gonna matter so now its for the next best pockets, Demo and Soldier. Again, rocket jumping is best in open space so sure go ahead.

Yep, a few bushes here and there for stickies and spies, heavy is shit in open space since he can't walk very fast unless he has the GRU or something else. Soldiers and Demo usually leave medics behind after an overheal due to rocket jumping/sticky jumping being faster... Not many good people to pocket so you gotta... *Dun dun dun* INDIVIDUAL HEALS!!!
