In the end, HeXuan could only blame himself for loving the person he wanted to destroy. He became friends with our lovely Wind Master, MXTX is certainly diabolic.
What also made it more sad the the brothers not wanted eachother to die. Wind master, even though he would have been souless or well mindless he still wanted to be alive with his brother. While water master straight up wanted to be decapitated. It was such a sad moment because we all love our little wind master. ಥ_ಥ
Whats more sad is HX did try to get SQX away from his brother but SQX still chose to return to his brother’s side without knowing the consequences of his decision. I agree, MXTX is so evil that way.

Yea i don't know wich chapter either, I just finished the novel today but pretty much everything lord wind master said was that in the end He Xuan just let him go
It is not explicit, but HX actually tries to stop SQX from going with his brother because he (HX) has planned to kill him. Besides, he spent a lot of time being “friends” with the lovely Wind Master: there is no way he didn’t at least feel some sort of bond with him, since we see him protecting him a lot, and the fact that SQX calls him “best friend”. In the end, HX can’t bring himself to kill SQX

He Xuan might have been lowkey insulted that Shi Qingxuan was still holding unto the past him that was friends with him instead of acknowledging the calamity before him
he might have wanted to share his true self with Shi Qingxuan in the form of his calamity skin, but Shi QIngxuan calling him "Ming-xiong" feels like avoidance or denial
overall, it's just sad that their friendship came to an end like that

i mean, no matter how annoying and stupid my brother is, i could never hate him. Knowing how much Shi Wu Du love his brother and will do anything and everything to protect his brother, if i'm Shi Qing Xuan i could never hate him too 🥲in the end i couldn't hate Shi Wu Du even though i love He Xuan and beefleaf.
I can't help but think over and over again how He Xuan gave Shi Wudu two options, and in both options, Shi Qingxuan lives. And the fact that Shi Wudu tried to kill Shi Qingxuan for a third option, you can tell He Xuan was shocked and wanted to kill Shi Wudu even more, cause one he didn't apologize and second he tried to kill Shi Qingxuan in front of him. And in the end, Shi Qingxuan still lives. God just thinking deeper into this really makes my head turn. Mxtx did really well with tian guan ci fu like omg. BTW I love the way you made He Xuan express his grudge. Well done
Yes... its so sad. But swd just acted like he would kill his little brother. Because he knew hx would kill him before he could really hurt sqx. Because swd knew hx had feelings for sqx.

So from my point of view, big bro Shi Wudu tried to kill lil bro wind God, which is bullshit but great performance. He always loved his brother dearly for a very long time. He Xuan wanted to kill big bro and didn't hate lil bro, which Shi Wudu took advantage of. He pretended to strangle lil bro and all that drama cos he knew if He Xuan will save his lil bro and spare his life. Of course in the end big bro saved lil Bros life, good brain!

Shin wudu is a smart guy. When he xuan Spell the two option, the first shin wudu died by the hand of his brother . The second they both exchange faith with some beggard and shin Qingxuan lost his mind ,in both option shin Qingxuan don't died. This is the evidence that he xuan still care about shin Qingxuan and he knows shin wouldn't kill him so he try to kill the wind master on purpose to make he xuan réact and kill him. His brother will lives with out the blood of his old brother on his hand and would not loose his mind.

Needlessly to say me and her have watched this multiple times and I adore the art style and this is my favorite drawing style for He Xuan especially.

I just love HX and SQX are like all dark and depressed, then there's HC and XL off to the side just casually chatting and kissing 😂😂😂.
Also for a Demon King HX is pretty loyal in paying back his debt. I mean wouldn't demons be like all evil, taking whatever and never return?
In the world the story is set in, it was described that demons manifest when a person dies and their soul wouldn't return to nature due to an attachment or obsession (and resentment too) to the living world, therefore they become demons. And since most attachments are negative, the demon's nature and attitude are also negative, therefore they are associated with evil. And since the demons can't die they have no fear on pursuing their desires (well they can die if their ashes are destroyed, their soul is too weak or they let go of said attachment). Like the ones that have been murdered become murderers, so since He Xuan turned into a demon due to his hatred towards the two siblings, especially SWD, carrying out his revenge loyally is no big surprise, heck even if I ship beefleaf I was surprised that he let SQX go. And I think the reason he still exists in the world even if he had gotten his revenge is because he is a supreme demon and is too powerful to just disappear like that...

I started reading tgcf in autumn of 2019. There were a lot of things happening in my life back then, that I myself didn't fully understand. Tgcf helped me deal with them and provided comfort.
I remember this animatic too. I found it soon after finishing the book. I would watch it everyday, not that I had much else to do. Now as I rewatch it I can't help but recall those dark early mornings. It's a fond memory, despite everything. It doesn't seem like that long ago, yet at the same time so much has changed. This is a vent more than anything; I felt the need to put this out somewhere. But both this animatic and tgcf in general helped me get through those times

Honestly the stopping at kitchen to grab a weapon is kinda accurate since Xie Lian did use his cooking as a weapon (with the heaven eye?)

I have just started TGCF so I didn't understand most of it (uwu Hualian kiss tho), I'll be back when I'm finally enlightened to get my soul crushed because this seems angsty. Plus Wind Master has only just been there for few chapters for me and I LOVE him so since this seems to be related to him, I think I'll definitely cry when I understand.
