Unfortunately i spend all of my days in China was at Heilongjiang province which much more Russia influenced and Russian was much more used beside Chinese than other languages. graduated from Harbin university decades ago.

主要是在中国如果过了高考进了大学 本科的压力真的没什么了不起。在美国靠天才上了大学突然发现爱的教育怎么突然没了，我靠，这东西高中好像看过但我不会。。。其实很多时候就是基础没搞好

Appears to not speak any language coherently
When you're properly multilingual, sometimes the best word you want to express yourself that pops into your head is in the other language, you'd just use it if the person you're talking can understand both languages.
It's the reason why when you pick up a new language, it deteriorates the languages you already know a bit. Some words just don't have equivalents in the other language.

After living in Singapore, I have got used to mixing English and Chinese during a conversation, even with my friends in China. I often got advised not to do that because people in China don't like to hear a Chinese person add English words into Chinese sentences. Sorry, but I sometimes really don't know the Chinese counterpart of some English words. But when I hear Amy mixed Chinese words into her English sentences, I feel nice. BTW, Yu Qin stands shyly like some Chinese girl. Great video!
你好！我也在新加坡呆过很长的一段时间，其实说好全中文并不难，因为参杂中、英文是一种习惯，我也是慢慢学起来尽量说好华语。比如我跟当地新加坡人或者像妳一样是外国人留在当地很久的人交流时就会用不纯正的中文混英文马来文甚至方言，如果跟来自中国、台湾香港或者说中文的外国人交流我就很正经地使用中文了，也是一种尊重咯！😁
In my opinion, a lot of Chinese people(except the students) didn't speak or hear English in daily life, so adding some English words into Chinese sentences may not a good way to communicate with some local Chinese people because they can't understand.
Ikr it is hard sometime to find a equal word in a sec.

If you are a foreigner..going to China...to study...you don't go to 2nd or 3th tier Universities do you ! The top Universities are in Beijing and Shanghai !
