i'm sorry, but this is far from the "Ultimate OBS Studio Guide". you said, "today i'm going to teach you how to connect your Stream Deck to OBS," but you did nothing of the sort. you showed how to create actions for the buttons, but not how to connect Stream Deck to OBS. for anyone else looking for that, click the cog wheel to go to Preferences > Plugins > click the + sign, then a webpage will open. find and install the OBS plugin.

great video! is there any way to program stream deck buttons to handle transitions between scenes(stingers, fades, etc.)?
This was helpful to get me started. I use OBS in studio mode for use of the preview screen. Do you know of a way to program the transition buttons onto stream deck so that I can bring a scene into preview and then push another button to fade it into program?

Also, as a tip for the stream deck, sometimes OBS integration doesn't appear when the app is installed, if you want, you can make a quick tutorial on how to manually install plugins for StreamDeck, including one for OBS if it doesn't happen when people set up their stream decks for the first time

This makes sense! I got the 15 keys and now I wish I got the 32. If I have another streamdeck, can I use them both or how does one move to next profile of buttons? Also, do you need to put a button to stop recording as well? Are all the buttons set to toggle off and on? Also, do you take an hour or 15mins to test all your cameras are connected? I connect a gopro and it goes to sleep but sometimes it connects same route and others, I have to reconnect. Thanks for your videos! I love the RodeCaster as well. No need to use up buttons for sound effects on the deck!

I need help setting up my stream deck I have my soundfax programmed but when I use them during my stream I'm getting double audio which is causing an echo with the gameplay and I'd really like to be able to play them in game as well I tried going to your website to set up you to help me but it says it's a $1000 an hour
how do i add the audio im using on my stream deck into OBS without the audio coming through my computer speakers and coming into my stream through my mic. My streamdeck doesnt show up as an audio source for my sound effects/audio to OBS. i just have to leave my computer speakers on and hope my mic picks up the audio/sound effects get picked up. Great tutorial! Enjoying my Stream Deck a lot!! Got a question. The transition button on the OBS? Currently it's set to do a "Cut" Is there a way to change it to use some of the other OBS transitions? Like Fade or Slide?

im the 1000th like!!
When I hit the Record on my deck a yellow triangle with an exclamation point pops up, same with Stream. Cant test pause because it wont Record from Streamdeck. Click it on OBS everything works like normal but the only thing that works on the Streamdeck is audio mute.
Okay but what if your not ablebto drag from the right to the button? Ive uninstalled and reinstalled, everything is up to date but its not letting me drag. Please help

Awesome. Was considering screenflow to record tutorial videos, but seeing you record OBS live as you do tutorial seems legit
Is there an OBS hotkey/shortcut to put a marker while you're recording? In case I make a mistake talking, I can hit the market button so I know to go back and edit it out when I edit the final video
If you make an image that's bright and fills the screen, you can put that image in a scene in OBS and make a button for it in your stream deck. When you goof up, you can hit that button, leave it on the screen for like 2 or 3 seconds and then hit your button for the scene you're filming to continue your content.

I have been searching options for this and finally found one; presentify for Mac. I have been playing with it for the past hour and it is really easy and clean, about $7 in the app store.
There isn't an OBS dropdown in the side actions for the Stream Deck software

Mine is not either.. any help would be great. "Waiting for OBS" just constantly spinning even though OBS is open. Tried opening, closing, searched OBS for a feature to connect, but to no avail. Unable to add a "Scene" or "Target", due to the endless spinning circle.

Following the "add scene" part, and when I drag and drop onto the Streamdeck, it gives a"waiting for OBS" message with spinning loader icon. OBS is open and running. Am I doing something wrong?

Note: Make sure on the stream deck software that you are using the buttons directly underneath the OBS tab, otherwise they will not link up.

Obs studio isn't even showing up in the stream deck. Again another tutorial that doesn't cover all issues that could happen before doing it.
