All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I’m a noob who after a couple of years of spending some spare time searching UA-cam for tutorials on BJT’s and how they work, found this video which finally answered some basic questions of current flow, voltage differences between the base, collector and emitter, amongst many other things that I couldn’t find anywhere else. Wish I had found your channel when I first started a couple of years ago. Again, thank you so much for taking the time to make this very informative and easy to understand video. All the best and take care!

Awesome viedo! I never tried to use transistors, bc I never fully understood how the different modes work and how to calculate the circuit to achieve a specific mode. Until now, I've always been using Mosfets instead, bc they are simply a switch. Thanks for the great content!

Your videos are very well put together, you put out a glut of videos during the Rona but no more. Get bored? UA-cam takes a long time to reach a critical mass before you get lots of subs and for the algorithm to start suggesting you to the world. I'm trying to understand hFE of transistors (among other variables) to figure out how to get the right replacement transistors for a vintage receiver I'm trying to repair. I was looking for a quick and dirty choice cheat, but have really enjoyed your thorough explanations.

NPN not pointing in. PNP pointing in. That's how I remember it.
