Absolutely love your videos, for cars that I could never own, never even be interested in, I watch because you guys are so informative, so interesting to watch, so funny to laugh at and with. Thank you... Also, face off is a brilliant film! 😂
Wooo box test champion!!! It is real wood by the way. I totally agree with the heated steering wheel too, I think the button is coming... nobody gets the DVD system anyway hahaha. They're selling so well, we are ordering like 5 months out right now, 2019 orders soon. Loved the video, would've been nice if you used one of my Navigators ;) hahaha
"It's got the trailer backup knob and some slidey thingies with the plus and minus" Love your technical descriptions of things Yuri! That said, you described it perfectly for me, since I know even less than you guys about towing!
Car designers and engineers should start watching your videos so they know what flaws to avoid. No physical button for the heated wheel is not a good design. I think the interior looks gorgeous, an uncluttered design with just enough chrome and wood so it's not overwhelming. The front headlights and grille look a little rounded and soft to me, a little more chiseled and squared off would make it more cohesive with the back. This SUV is so big though, I would hate to wash and vacuum it, it would take hours finish. But I guess if you have the money to buy it you just take it to the detailer.
im guessing the heated steering wheel mode stays on after you restart the car, so if you are in winter..... it stays on after you set it once. same for off in summer. eh?
MrBgklug if you set the remote start on auto then the vehicle will turn on your heat/AC, seats, and steering wheel depending on the outside temperature. My Explorer Sport does the same thing.
harrismi7 you don't need a physical button for the heated steering wheel. You can turn it on by using the screen or set the remote start to auto and it'll come on if it's cold enough outside. I have a heated steering wheel on .y Explorer Sport and never physically turned it on because when it's cold outside, I always remote start it and it'll turn on automatically.
Is it just me or it seems like the video quality and production has increased a lot in the last few months? The interior shots were so crisp. What a pleasure to watch !
3rd row space is why the livery service I used to work for used loaded, LWB Ford Expeditions instead of Escalades. Why the Escalade still uses a live axle in the rear instead of a fully independent setup like Ford has used for _years_ is a mystery that only GM's bean counters know the answer to but it's really an unfortunate leftover from the Tahoe's fully truck-based bones. That live axle kills vertical packaging space under the floorpan and it shows in the interior.
That is also my favorite SUV! My other favorite SUVs is the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JL (with a soft top that can auto open),Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro, Lincoln Natillus, Porsche Cayenne Turbo, Range Rover Sport SVR, Maserati Levante GTS, Dodge Durango SRT, Land Rover Discovery and the Ford Expedition Platinum Max. MY favorite sedans are the Lincoln Continental, Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody, Chrysler 3OOc, Cadillac CTS-V, and Kia Stinger GT. My favorite Coupes are the Ford Mustang Bullitt, Chevrolet Camarro ZL1, and the Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye Widebody. And my favorite Pickup towing, and off-road trucks are Ram Rebel 12, Ford F-45O Super Duty Platinum with FX4 tires, Ram 35OO Laramie Longhorn Dually, Ford Raptor, Chevrolet Silverado Trailboss, GMC Sierra 15OO Denali, and the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.
Not an SUV I even remotely like or want to watch, but somehow when you guys review it I wanna keep watching. Well done guys. Still waiting to be picked up btw
Awesome production quality and humor. Your channel should have a lot more subscribers. Watching all your videos all the way from the Philippines.. keep up the great work!
I think it's a ceramic type of windshield that protects more from the Sun than a regular one. I've seen several Benz have it too outside. Some Land Rovers as well. Ceramics are good for keeping heat out so. In summer, your dashboard won't be heated at all if you park in the Sun too long.
I have ridden in one, and driven one. This is a beast, that is WAY ahead of other Luxo SUVs. Fast, yes. Quick... No. But that is not the point. It's a true land yacht, with gobs of torque, space, comfort beyond your dreams, and a driving position that makes you grin with evil pleasure. Epic.
because the rear cargo access is squared you dont have the disappointing taper which limited storage transport of larger things like out grand Cherokee had. so the sheet rock or paneling has to angel
Ghobi Echo nah, when I think of a full size suv, i think of a v8, my parents had a Lincoln Navigator too but it was a 2005 model and it looked way better than the new navigator
gamingmuffin620 so you’d rather have less capability, performance, and fuel economy for two extra cylinders? their twin turbo v6 is the better engine, and looks are up to the person but it is good to actually look more premium than a regular expedition
Ghobi Echo 1. what capability? 2. that is kinda bullcrap I could put a supercharger on that v8 and could still have more horsepower 3.who gives a shit about fuel economy when you buy a full size suv, another thing you get with the v8 is that satisfying roar when you push that gas pedal 🤤
I’m excited to have my first shout out! I’ve never considered becoming a patron of a UA-cam channel but I’m obsessed with your reviews so much my gf probably wants to steal my tablet when I’m binging Straight Pipes! No other videos for car reviews can compare. If you are ever in the Chicago area, we should go for a ride! Also, I know I’m boring, but you guys would do an awesome job reviewing the new Mk7 Jetta and comparing it to the MK6. Ok I gg my gf needs me, haha. Also Face Off will be my next in flight movie!
Thanks for your Patreon contribution! Tell your gf that we say hello but we give you full permission to binge our videos. Sorry Carlos' gf! Spend time with her whenever you're not watching our videos though
I like how it kind of has retro styling without imitating any specific past models or going overboard (unlike the PT Cruiser, HHR, etc.). It definitely gives off a subtle 1940's/50's vibe, but just enough that you can't really put your finger on where it's coming from.
The Tahoe was tighter in the 3rd row because it is closer in size to the short Navigator. You would need to be in a Suburban to more fairly compare rear seat space. Great video btw! Love your channel. You two are great and way more entertaining than most reviewers.
David Hypes The biggest difference is the Tahoe has a live axle, vs independent rear suspension for the Lincoln. Live axle takes up more space, right where the rear seat sits.
Best looking interior I've ever seen on an American car. How does it compare size wise to an f150? I saw one of those get wedged down a street in Brighton as its too narrow for old European streets.
As an owner of the '20 Navigator BL, I can say that it's a phenomenal vehicle. I own a Nissan 350Z sports car, and it has the same 0-60 (mid 5's). For 10x the size. Car & Driver says it beat the Escalade and Denali's 6.2 V8. It's fast with that Twin Turbo "Raptor" engine. The luxuriousness feels the equivalent of an S-Class SUV. The massaging heated seats, the 20-speakers are audiophile-grade. When driving, it's the closest to being in your own isolated realm. Coming from sports cars, the "yacht" size has also become perfectly maneuverable. For $100K+, I'm very glad with my decision. It was very hard compared to the Porsche Taycan, and maybe I'll still get that later, but for now it's a blast. I really want both.
There is actually a number of interior themes and one of the themes is the yacht. In which the leather is light blue and another shade of wood!! I think it would be perfect for u!
I have watched a lot of your videos guys and I can’t recall one where you can tell just how quiet that Lincoln interior is by the acoustics of your voices. The Navigator is like tomb quiet. It’s the weirdest thing.
Loved the video! But also can you guys please start showing us how it is in the rear seats of these cars? It's something I'm always left curious about.
Great car! I didn't like the back of the car in person, especially the exhausts, but the front definitely has a nice presence and the interior is the best of any SUV so far thanks to nice materials and controls all over. Love the seats, I hope more manufacturers get something similar in their cars.
The 'My Husband's a Lawyer' type of SUV
Amin Fadhil What type of vehicles do “My Husband’s a Surgeon” wives drive?
Saloomi_Qiio Ah yes. That’s the Volvo XC90
more like a "My Husband has a small todger" type of SUV
My husband‘s a lawyer with a really bad car tasty! I mean look at the rear? Pure eye cancer

I build these yachts at the Kentucky ford truck plant. They are available with air suspension. Most of them that we make has it. Awesome video guys.
It's not an option on the Lincoln site
Christopher Noe is it just like a load leveling air suspension in the rear?
Is it fast? It's fast for the size of this building.

Under 8 seconds is good for this vehicle.

Coming from the 2019 Escalade video this interior makes the Escalade look like a joke.
Jim Boulter same!!
Escalade is way more reliable than the Lincoln

it is not fake wood, you're paying almost 100k in USA for this, is real wood for sure!

It's real zircotte (if that is how you say it) wood.
It's real wood.
Unfortunately the Escalade still has fake wood. Hopefully they'll put real wood in the next gen Escalade, next year.
