This is the newest of the dayattherange.com challenges. Elija from the Day at the range UA-cam channel and website has challenges every now and again and it gets a lot of the rim fire gun tubers together to shoot the challenge and show your shooting skills. It's a great way to build and grow the community while having fun testing your skills. hope to see more bigger channels getting in on this challenge.
this is my entry with my CZ 457 LRP that has a few after market parts on it. the list of parts I added are a 22" Internation Barrels Inc. Olympic contour 1:16 right twist barrel, a Timney flat blade trigger, a custom Arch Swiss rail and diy bipod mount. the bipod I use is a bipod factory carbon 6-9" swivel model. the optic used is a Vortex Razor HD Gen I 5-20 x 50 Mil/Mil with Vortex Precision rings and bubble level. Apart from this the action hasn't been touched as well as the stock.

Fly challenges are meant to be with the flies in all different directions - never seen one like that b4
I think No. 5 is a hit giving you 18 and time was approx. 4:04. Not too shabby at all. Especially with that wind giving you some heck. So Eley Remington Match ugh? I don't have any of that. I only have 20 rounds of the Eley tenex so that's a no-go. I did go buy 10 boxes of SK ammo today in trying to find that cartridge that shoots the best. I got 2 boxes of each kind they had, but I should have got a brick of the Rifle Match as it works well for me. What I picked up was SK Rifle Match, SK Semi-Auto Rifle, SK Standard Plus, SK Biathlon Sport, and then I found something called Aguila .22-SSS Sniper SubSonic. I have quite a few Eley to try as well like Match, Target, SA Benchrest and some Lapua X-Act. So many ammo types and so little time, lol.
Be proud of this effort. Better than a lot of others!

Wow ! That was some great shooting in that wind. By the looks of it , there was random multi directional winds happening. FWIW, I just subscribed because of this video. Great callout at the end.
Thanks so much for your support! It’s a very challenging target to clear you have to shoot absolutely perfect 25 shots in a row. Then you have ammo and environmental effects so all in all it’s tough but super fun. Cheers glad you enjoyed it have a great day

That was masterfully done...I can appreciate a proper wind call on mornings like that ... for just 1.5 mph of full value wind your POA is off the fly completely!

Don’t know what the rules are for fly swat.. however if the goal is to kill the fly ( which I assume it is ) a wing shot would accomplish that goal. I would assume the rules are not quite that lax though

I thought I was good shot till I did this challenge. Lol needless to say I need more trigger time
The 22lr cartridge is what makes this so difficult. You never know when the pesky flyers will hit. It’s definitely a very challenging challenge
I believe I will down load this fly target and shrink it to half size so I can shoot it with my CZ and Bergara at 25 yards.
That target already exists ... Eli will have them soon, Harry (Backyard Inventor) re-scaled them in his CAD program. They are a download away.
Be prepared ... Baby'Flies are damn small critters!

Standard printer paper 8 1/2 x11 or what ever it is

That’s some damn good shooting! Matt H shot an 18 score yesterday from the CRPS group with his custom Vudoo against two other guys with Vudoos as well. I downloaded and printed out the target yesterday but didn’t get a chance to shoot it today.
