Honestly, I had my doubts about this season, thinking it was going to be another overhyped season like Heartcatch, but it’s actually really good. Not my top 5, but still a good one. I’m currently halfway through and wanted to see where it will go next but now I’ve pretty much spoiled it for myself. Still, I respect your opinion
I felt exactly what you felt when Star Twinkle came out. To me that was the worst and easily most frustrating season. I never understood the hype and praise it got.
No I totally agree with what you have said. While I don't hate the season, it's not a favorite either. But I think they was trying to make this season be Sailor Moon 2.0 especially with a lot of the designs. (Fresh being 1.0) Homare reminds me mostly of Sailor Uranus. Then I think the whole George and Hana was totally Usagi X Mamaro just kinda in reverse. I admit I lost interest since Go Princess originally and seeing Dream is what pulled me back in with the allstars scenes, but I agree with what you said about the allstar scenes, all they did was slow the season down. (Also kinda got me intererested in Kira Kira which I ended up liking a lot). It was also confusing time travel. To where they wanted to do Trunks style (alternate dimensions) moreso than just simple (Future-Past). But they make it confusing. To me MaCherie took over Yells position. Especially when Yell started getting sidetrack by George. The only thing I can think of the Deus Ex situtation was my original thought Tomorrow was involved, but that was disproven. Then my 2nd idea was it was a call back to either Heartcatch's final form or even the original goddess that became Luminous. That is all I have to say before this gets too long. I apologize. I feel like this season got held back/forced a lot similar to Happiness Charge. But unlike both Soaring is not and I feel it's potential is high.
I do feel the same way as you do here, of how i feel about Otona.
I’m probably the only one who felt like this but after i watched episode 36 i knew i had to drop the rest of the season😭😭
I also wanted to add that I like hugtto, is probably in my three Top favorite, but if I had to choose, it has to be the FIRST season of yes 5 ( I'm not even gonna begin to discuss what's wrong with the second one in my opinion...)
I agree with you in one point: saya/Cure angel is probably my least fav, I'm not so sure how I feel about her, they didn't give her so much development and I prefer energetic blue cures such as marine and gelato for example.
Yeah and also wtf is wrong with this all star movies situation? Why had other cures to be concluded in a SEASON whereas there are so many all stars movies?
questions (if you can answer) how the f nagisa and honoka don't grow up? They participate in 4 SEASONAL movies, all the all stars movies till the mahoutsukai one, they played a big role in the hugtto x futari wa movie, AND in episode 22 in hugtto, like.....?
And here's the question : are pretty cures connected to each other? They take place in the same time or it's just jump time? Do they really grow like in otona? The seasons are coming one after other or they are just in the same period? I'm really very comfused bc I have the thought that all stars movies aren't canon...
Who needs bleach after watching episode 27 and episode 49 of hugtto precure?
I like huggto, is one of my favorite seasons... It's of course your opinion, but I like it.
