I was crying as I was listening to your video because I was able to identify with everything you was saying. I'm emotionally exhausted with research, and helping my son with his class work plus working full time, looking for an affordable service that can give him that one on and or small classroom learning. The public school system IEP program is not totally effective but it's a start, I guess. I didn't know there were autism schools. I've been looking into possibly homeschooling him just to get him caught up. I'm trying to figure out how to make the best changes for him. Thank you for sharing your story.
Awwww I completely understand stand what you mean, we hold thing in for so long and work so hard...to hear someone else say it too brings the slightest acceptance that those feels are okay. And there have been a few times I’ve broke down, full on ugly cry! You obviously care for your son VERY much and he is so lucky for have a support like you! You’re clearly doing everything you can to do what’s best for him! We’ve talking about the autism school a lot last year when we were finding it and getting accepted. But we’re also wanting to do several more videos on it, including how to make it affordable! Thank you for watching and I’m so happy you took the time to share all this! It truly touches my heart! I look forward to more from you soon! 💕
Wow you guys had a late diagnosis. That’s the hard part of high functioning autism is for the most part they seem to function quite well. My son is also ADHD ASD level 2. I find the older my son gets the more he stands out socially. My son also has a rarer form of autism called PDA ( pathological demand avoidance) Which is anxiety driven. Jesse is adorable I’m sure my son would love him too 🌈💕
