- Epic night! We were lucky enough to get a VIP tour of the new Speed Shop in Lake Havasu City and guess what! New Customer speeds cars were there getting put together! Robby Gordon and his crew showed us around and were so hospitable. Can not wait to see how that building turns out! Subscribe for SPEED updates!

TRUE STORY: I went to CALI for the Super Sand Sports Show where he did the first Production Speed cars reveal in the evening. I was hanging with my son at the skate park near the fairgrounds and Robby drove up to stop and cover the production cars before he pulled into the fairgrounds. I went over to him and said I had bought a Speed car from him and was there to see them. He immediately shook my hand and said "Thank you" and then proceeded to uncover the production car on the trailer and let me look at it. He was so honest, humble and open to me and my son.
Robby is one of the nicest guys I've talked to. Respect him for having dreams and making them a reality. He stands behind his product. Stoked these cars are here!
He has always been very respectful when talking to him great guy

Those cars are sweet. The hype is real, nobody can deny that. Cant wait for a review and or shootout with some of the competition..

I have watched Robby when I was a kid jumping these huge graded lots on his motorcycle up the street from my house in Orange ca he was a legend back then and my hero.

I certainly hope you guys invited him and Max out to your desert track to see what times they can put down in a Speed UTV?! I have a feeling there might be a change at the top f the board. I don’t think either of them should be eligible for the giveaway money, but it would be so very interesting to compare times and see video comparisons to the Pro R and X3.

I met Robby Gordon about 15 to 20yrs ago at ocotillo wells at a little taco stand back when he drove for red bull and he was a really nice guy everybody told me they didn't get the same treatment maybe because I caught him after a good driving sesh but he was nice. I'm glad I had my dealer put on my rigid light bar on my pro r I didn't know it was a hassle.

How much power on pump gas and what is the weight? With the loss of the Yamaha 3 cylinder and the weight of all that reinforcement how will it perform? Hp/lb was the kiss of death to the XX. If I heard right it now has a sub 1 liter turbo 2 cylinder?
@desertsxs I am 377 been waiting along time and have owned alot of sxs's. Is this the real deal do you think it will perform from what you saw and did he talk much about the 300 tune? Getting anxious over here to see if its gonna be worth the wait.

The guy builds a company from the ground up … does everything right …. Test test test to have a good great product … makes videos every week to keep you up to date …. And yet still basement bullies try to interfere like always …. Push forward speed utv …. The product will speak for itself ..,… nobody has a clue how hard this was to get done ….. great job guys …. So pumped to see the process of this … … I hope you guys build this so big …. Sell it … drink cocktails in Cabo with hookers that don’t speak English and enjoy the rewards of hard honest work ….👍👍
Would love a 4 seat xx. These machines are going to be so good but up where I live in Minnesota they are too wide.

I have an XX. The plug and play wire is meh. All the wires are switched with the ignition. Had to do my own wiring for whips, dome light... all the things we want to work with the key on or off.
@@TheBandit7613 I can see it being ineffective in cases like that. Perhaps Robby should add in a few hot ones too. Overall it made my wiring easy except for finding compatible rockers initially.
@@mikedesilets3324 Yes, even the right rockers needed that piece of plastic cut off the switch.
The switches are meant to light up when the lights are on but they don't.
Only when the switch is flipped.
I did add 2 downward firing lights to light up the switch panel at night without messing up my night vision.
I like my XX however, it needs a little more to be as refined as the X3.
Horrible seats, hard as a rock. But comfy seating position and good legroom.
I'm waiting for the speed to add 1 or 2 more cylinders and some more cubic inches. No need to try and squeeze 300 hp from a 999 cc twin engine. How about a 1500 cc triple? 2000 cc quad?
No reason to stay under 1000cc's.

When you talked about how nice robby is that says a lot. Yes he does have to be a sales guy first, but still i have seen mamy vids where he acts this way. When i was young my idol was boyd, he came to our city way back when the alumacoupe came out. I was so stoked to meet him. Went on a slow day before it kicked off, grabbing a poster and a hat then from his booth. Went to go meet him in person and he was the biggest jerk of a person i ever met. Not nice at all. Being young i thought maybe he just had a bad day. Years later he has a tv show, same as i met in person.

Robby is a pretty hands on guy, met him at the SSSS in LA, he was running around like a chicken with his head cut off from the VIP booth, to the t-shirt booth to showing off his product and rapping with his customers.

@@chadcampbell1586 It's unfortunate that the "change" to electric is being done by activists instead of engineers. So much false hope. Batteries are ok for in-town car use. Anything long distance is a pain.
Any new tech must be better than the tech it's replacing or it's a fail.
Batteries are not yet energy dense enough, too polluting to create and too expensive. $16,000 for a new Nissan Leaf battery. That's too much.

I believe I'll stick with my new Polaris Turbo R. My half shafts, axles and everything else is heavier. My fox shocks are dual valve and ride like a dream. No one can compete with that right now.

Thanks for making this video. But at the same time I feel like you guys don’t really know about the industry your channel is about. You guys claim to have had a XX, yet you did not know what the XX looks like? He had two and you asked what it was? Then you guys supposedly have Speeds on order, but did not seem to know much about what has happened over the past few years. Not knocking as not every deposit holder is invested in knowing everything . But in your case you have a UA-cam channel called Desert SXS. So I’d expect you to know everything that’s been shown. Again thanks for making this video and I look forward to seeing more.

just fyi, 'Mr Beast'- 'what has he done?'... aside from all the youtube stuff, he's donated tens of millions to charity, has a full time charity drive, actively contributes massively to world out side of youtube. I didn't know this until i looked it up after hearing 'what has Mr Beast done...nothing'. You never know what others have done or are doing until you take a moment to check it out.
